  1. Wait, so should we post here for now and not the vbulletin site? By the way, awesome job guys. I LOVE seeing this progress.
  2. +1 -1 ;)
  3. We're a month away from release. I'm cool with the wait. Though I would KILL for a look at Greif Mode.
  4. The footage reveals it all. As some of us figured out already, they are part of a Zombie shield, one of the buildables in TranZit. BTW it seems Treyarch has been watching us just as much as we've been watching them.
  5. 2gyMO6YtO_s Best quality video I could find for the gameplay part. About 10 seconds in. zcy50hQxc_g
  6. Dammit Mix, you beat me to the punch on posting that info about The Rightful King! I got an email this morning from Amazon saying I would be receieving the short story with my Hardened Edition preorder. Anywho. MIX, YOU F-ING KILLED IT WITH THIS THREAD! I've glanced through your thread (still gotta look over the details), and the connection here now is absolutely undeniable. You hit the nail on the head with this one my friend. It seems Menendez's motivation will stem directly from the conflict in Nicaragua between the Sandinistas and Contras. I'd assume his family was apart of the Sandinista National Liberation Front, possibly when he was a child. This is also where we are most likely going to be playing during the 80's period of the campaign's story. On a black operations mission in Nicaragua attempting to terminate high ranking members of the SNLF, amongst the Iran Contra affair. The situation bares a striking similarity to the failed Bay of Pigs Invasion and Operation Moongoose that followed. Speaking of that, the Call of Duty Facebook page updated their timeline a few months back as they cover events leading up to Black Ops 2. Here is one of the events on the timeline: With the failure of the Bay of Pigs invasion, President Kennedy approves Operation Mongoose, a plan that utilized propaganda and sabotage to overthrow Fidel Castro -November 30, 1961 Could history be repeating itself? Oh and last thing, the proganda campaign strategy utilized during Operation Mongoose seems to be very similar to the methods Raul Menendez will use against the US. His Cordis Die propaganda campaign will be his key to gaining the people's trust and turning them against their leaders. Once he has done that, he can attack them at their most vulnerable state. This is absolutely brilliant Mix. If anyone wants to learn about the backstory of Black Ops 2 before we even play the freaking game, give this thread a read through!
  7. We've got one more coming. It will be a bus delivery, just like the previous ones. I suspect we're going to get some sort of revealing info or picture about "buildables".
  8. I created a thread for tracking all the deliveries a couple days ago, which has been a hot topic the last few days. I thank you for the urgency to get it up though, that's what helps CoDz stay on top of stuff. Twas not the last delivery. We've got one more coming.
  9. TranZit's nickname is Story Mode. I think it's going to function much differently than Survival. There's going to be a mission or goal we are trying to accomplish while we make our way across a world plagued with zombies. There is no round counter, as the goal is not simply to survive, but to achieve a goal (probably stopping the outbreak or Richtofen). Think of it as the closest thing to a zombies campaign we'll get. It's going to much MUCH different than Survival. Survival maps will be taken directly from the world of TranZit. The maps will be tweaked to fit the classic Survival mode we're all used to. The area will be enclosed so we cant just run off to another area of the map like we'll be able to do in TranZit. Buyable doors, wall guns, a single PaP machine etc. They are technically areas from TranZit, but are much different because they are tweaked out to fit the game style of Survival. And TranZit isn't just one big map, it's one HUGE world. The entire thing is open-world much like Dead Island was. BTW Reddonkeyham, perhaps you could add a poll to the thread?
  10. Smart man. Everything Reddonkeyham said.
  11. It'd be midnight for CST, like it is for me  .
  12. Thanks for the update guys. You're doing awesome! Delivery 5 seem to come and go very quickly , within my 10 hours of work, and moved straight on to Delivery 6. Just keep it up, I'm counting on you guys. We've only got on more night and possibly tomorrow, and we haven't missed any yet. Thanks again to Reddonkeyham, Chloey, BBOPS2, and deathb4dishonor for catching the deliveries. As for the lawnmower, it will most likely be used to scavenge parts. Most notably the motor and other parts could be used to create a generator. The blades could also be used to help create a makeshift weapon. Delivery 4 (the red dolly) seems to fit this scenario as well, being used to make buildables.
  13. Well most people will leave it in that case. If people can't trust that you don't use cheats to get your scores, why would they give a damn about your World Record. And that's why people do it. For the recognition. Why would they go through all that trouble of achieving such feats when people will just see that you had access to cheats, regardless of what you actually did with them. Like I said, it's not required, but it's in their best interest to say you use these cheats BEFORE you get the record. People will question it. That's just what people do. And the best way to avoid that drama is to get it out of the way beforehand. Say your a slugger in the MLB. You hit home runs all day and have a .350 batting average. You're the best in the game, and your stats prove it. In an interview, a news reporter asks about sterioud use, and you mention "Yeah I use steriods, but they're for my own personal business and not for the games. It's not of your business." Now you can imagine how that would blow over. That players entire career will now come into question, and an asterisk will be placed on all of his records. Ok, so we both have terrible analogies haha, but you can see what I'm getting at. My final thought is this. Using the features (I won't call them cheats) that come with PC gaming is perfectly fine. But when PC players choose to go for World Records, it's in their best interest to state that they have access to these coding functions as most console players are not aware of this. BTW, one last thing. The best way to tell if someone is lying is the way the person reacts when its brought to light. Do they try to defend themselves and the scores they have earned, or do they go quiet and avoid confrontation. Completely closing down your youtube account, for an example, would be a pretty clear admission of guilt. Just food for thought.
  14. The specific person we might be referring to was found tampering with a world record video, editing two videos together to create one legitimate looking video. And that was the problem. This person was and still is world-record good, but when they admit that they tampered with one of their world records videos, without anyone knowing prior to it (I sure as hell could never tell), it brings all his WR videos into question. This player had good reason for editing two videos together, and I'm sure the run was legit. But unfortunately when the video is proven to be tampered with, it simply cannot be accepted. Some people are fine with it, but when it comes down to it is just not acceptable for a WR video. I've ran a WR thread for sometime on here (which needs an update badly), and there have been numerous times I've had to remove someone's record because it was not legit. Whether it was because the video was missing specific rounds, or if it's found that the original video was tampered with. There are very strict standards that need to be met when it comes to world records. Like I stated, I'm fine with using the "cheats" to develop stategies and such. But it is simply in the best interest of the player who goes for world records to make it abundantly clear from the start that they had access to the "cheats", but only used them for research purposes. You should never leave these things open for interpretation if the subject comes up in the future, it will never end well. Things cannot be left for interpretation. And yes, that was a poor analogy. But the same principles apply.
  15. That's the first thing I thought as well. The picture just screams Kino. I just watched a video though with all the locations and it doesn't match up to any of them. It's either just some prototype thing they never used for Kino, a new box location in BO2 with reused textures from BO, or we travel back to Kino at some point and open more of the level. I'm leaning towards the first two. But I'm praying to the Zombie gods (JZ)that we travel back there, though like Tac said it's highly unlikely. xArrZyXyBuE
  16. Great. We stopped at a bar....Nikolai's gotta be around there somewhere.
  17. Delivery 4 has arrived my friends. Looks like a makeshift workbench, but it's anyone's guess on what it actually is. I'll beb ack on after I hit the gym to note some observations with the past couple deliveries. Also added a small thanks section for the members that first see the delivery and post it here on CoDz. I work 6am - usually around 4pm, so while I do check up on the CoD site every hour or so, I am unable to check from 10pm - 5am, so I appreciate your guys' help with catching all the drops. Thanks again Reddonkeyham and Chloey!
  18. I made a quick updatefrom my iPhone to include delivery 3. I will update it more when I get home. Big thanks to RedDonkeyHam for posting this for me. Had he not done that I wouldn't have seen the delivery when I woke up this morning. Thanks again. And this appears to be part of the homemade riot shield we saw in the reveal trailer.
  19. I think your right Liam. With the second delivery having a similar type of quote, these seem like they'd be in game quotes when a player finds these items. I never thought about it, but that would just be awesome. You never know where the next clue might be hiding. It really makes me wonder just what the capabilities of this ladder are. I'm curious if it will actually be possible to set the ladder up and climb places, or if it's only used to open a specific area (perhaps to get on top of the bus to get inside it). If it's actually usable, that would just be nuts. I'm beginning to wonder if all these items are only related to the bus, or other parts of TranZit as well.
  20. Welcome Pinnaz! I'm very happy you finally decided to join after lurking for entirely too long. It's clear you've got the strong passion and love for zombies. And I gotta say, it always makes me happy to see anyone ineterested in the storyline. Glad to have you join, and just in the nick of time. Oh,and one of your other posts caught my eye. I like your train of thought, plus I'm always a sucker for references! Keep it up. Shooter
  21. Agreed. I think the whole thing when using these "cheats" and going for world records is the timing in which you tell the public that you use them. If you tell everyone very early on "Yeah, I use the "cheats" to develop a good strategy beforehand" then it's not really a big deal, more power to you. [tab][/tab]I don't really see this as cheating though, so long as the final recorded match is a normal game. The problems arise when, after a player obtains multiple world records, evidence surfaces that he had access to these "cheats" and the player made no prior acknowledgement that he uses them. Even if it's clear they're capable of going 100+ rounds, people will still question in it regardless. If you're gonna develop your strategies using this method to go for world records, you should be open about it from the beginning, otherwise it's just bound to cause problems down the line.
  22. Delivery #2 is in! A ladder. Hmmm....interesting.
  23. Dude! That's the Callofdutyzombies.com twitter page your linking from. That's this website's twitter page. Lol. Oh and that's the image I originally uploaded to the site a couple weeks ago to prove it was a robot driver. viewtopic.php?f=100&t=24331&start=150#p234636
  24. Whoa, I really like that! I never thought about the capability to use the charger on other electrical devices. That would definitely be an awesome feature. I like the thought process here. Except you wouldn't need to hook up to the bus for the perk machine to be powered up. The charger would be able to power up the machine, assuming the machine has a rechargable type of battery source. I just think that'd be a cool little feature.
