The devs have stated during one of their panels that they had to add sound for gameplay purposes. They originally thought about making it so there's no sound, like in real life. Ultimately, it didn't work so well and they decided to add the distortion of sound instead of removing it completely. I don't think this is too supportive of alternate dimensions, however, one of Richtofen's Moon quotes may hint at alternate universes: "Nothing happened, at least not in this reality." This is said when Richtofen picks up a red power up.

I believe The Black Sun or German Schwarze Sonne is the term you're looking for.

Try stepping back about 10 feet or so and line up directly in front of the pyramid. You don't want to be too close to the pyramid. Just play with the bounce a bit and you'll get it! Shouldn't take more than two or three tries.

Try bouncing it off the ground. It's alot easier to avoid the gravity that way. Always worked for me.

See here's the thing. We don't even know if Samantha CAN get her body back at this point. We know nothing about the circumstances on getting it out of the pyramid or if it's even possible. If that is Sam, then that means she got her body out and she aged 10 or so years, and then the picture was drawn. When we see her body in the pyramid on Moon, she's about 8 or 9 years old. On the poster she looks around 21 years old. It's very confusing when you actually think about it. I do think it is Samantha or someone else of great significant in terms of zombies in the poster, but I don't quite see how Samantha adds up. She's basically the face of BO2 Zombies being on the premium case and poster, so she's got to have some importance to the story.

She doesn't sound quite as evil after she switches bodies with Richtofen. Creepy yes, but evil no. As far as we know, Samantha's powers were only available to her because she was in the pyramid aka Aether. "As far as we know." this part i get but don't forget that treyarch can do anything they want and as for "Creepy yes, but evil no." of course she still sounds creepy but doesn't act as evil is because she doesn't have all of her powers but my theory is she might have a little power left. Well you might be right, but there's just really no evidence to support she still holds powers she acquired in Aether. She needs to be revived and buy weapons just like all the other humans. It doesn't seem like she retained any powers. I'm just a stickler for evidence, but hey you may be right.

All of the powers she had where based on her soul being in Aether. Now that her soul is out of Aether, her powers will not work. Now Richtofen holds that power. Interestingly enough, the voices heard by Richtofen over the course of the maps is left in Ed's body during the switch, and now Samantha hears the voices. Anywho, to answer your question, no she doesn't have any powers. She may have knowledge of how Aether works though.

I have a direct question though. What's the current status of the brains system returning with the update? You guys didn't seem to touch on them, and it seems like the only big thing left to resolve. I'm extremely happy to see this update taking shape!
