Ascension Poster Debate - Richtofen or Someone Else?
Shooter replied to TheDunbarian's topic in General Zombies Discussion
 You crazy kids and your absurd theories. Carbon and the guys haven't tweeted you back because, well, they're all probably too busy laughing at the nonsense of this. I know I am. -
The reason Kino may seem out of place is because it was originally suppose to be a WaW map which would take place after either Nacht or Verruckt. Lol yup I know. And techincally it would come after Der Riese or SNN. Nacht as no major significance in the story. It's been pretty much common knowledge around here since Black Ops dropped. The confusion I was referring to deals with the storyline. The story after kino (Ascension on) is somewhat easy to follow. Before Kino however there seems to be a different background story all together. It makes it confusing because you're not sure of the quotes relate to the first storyline or the later story. It's just a really hard transition to pinpoint, though I think I'm on to something. For us theorists, SNN, DR, and Kino are the hardest maps to figure out, in terms of storyline and why Richtofen took them there.

Ascension Poster Debate - Richtofen or Someone Else?
Shooter replied to TheDunbarian's topic in General Zombies Discussion
Ugh, you guys are hopeless. I love how you quote two words out of my response, all the while ignoring all of my valid points. It's really just sad more than anything. Don't care to address the issue of the CotD trailer which makes mistakes as well? No? Or did you already make a thread on how there's actually dual sawed offs in CotD somewhere? Seriously, this is common sense. The fact that 11 people think it's the CoDZL guy is just frightening in regards to the theorizing currently going on here at CoDz. The future is definitely black. Man I could really use some support here! Tac? Mac? Blind? Mix? Where are you guys?! Alpha? MMX? ANYONE?!!!? -
There's some obvious and much needed updates I need to make on this. I'll get it done this weekend. Shooter

I suspect we'll see a trailer by the end of September, so I hope you're right. Please be right. -
Ascension Poster Debate - Richtofen or Someone Else?
Shooter replied to TheDunbarian's topic in General Zombies Discussion
Artist Rendition. It's Richtofen. The weapons are wrong. Novas are wrong. Richtofen's face is off (to be honest Niko's face looks a bit off too). There's plenty of reasons why the poster is off. If you wanted to you could tear the poster apart finding all the things wrong with it. It's like the CotD trailer where dual sawed off shotguns and a machete can be seen as weapons, but they're not in the map. This is like arguing that those weapons are actually hidden in the map somewhere. Lol. It's an artist rendetion guys. That's without a doubt 100% Richtofen on the poster. Seriously guys, c'mon. -

i actually just pmed him on Porter right before you posted this lol. :| thanks for the permission shooter, does that mean you'll be actually joining in the conversation now about Porter? 8-) I don't beleive Porter has any relation to this mystery man in the CODZL trailer, so that discussion would be getting way off topic. .I'll be releasing a thread soon explaining his role, keep an eye out for it. Enjoy your fun discussion! -

Lol, that's not true. A beefed up Marine like that would stand out like a sore thumb in Group 935. Peter McKay, and Harvey Yena stood out, simply because they were Americans. Richtofen didn't like Americans, Maxis didn't like them. This guy would have never got past the front gate. Oh, and someone with military training that could defend himself you say? Say someone like Tank Dempsey. Yup, he got caught, and he's a total badass. Hmmm, I'll be keeping my eye on you Dunbarian, it's clear you have a good understanding of the concepts of the story. I'm also VERY interested in what happened to Harvey Yena. The last I expect he was at the Group 935 base at CotD completing the upgraded Hyena Infra-Dead. I'm still not sure if Yena was even at Der Riese at all. I know his name is written on the chalkboard, but other than that we don't have much to go on about him. Now I'm assuming that he was indeed a spy of sorts (probably OSS like Peter), so he most likely returned back to America after Der Riese was captured by the Allies in 1945. Now the question of did he create the Wave Gun. I'll say possibly. But I'm leaning towards someone else in particular: Porter. He has more experience with 115 than other 935 scientist. I believe Porter and another significant doctor was taken during Operation Paperclip. Look it up. Oh, and I don't personally believe Yena was at Griffin Station at all. Richtofen didn't trust Yena, and wouldn't let him in on such a big secret. Richtofen most likely didn't let Yena in on much at all. The CODZL was most likely located at The Pentagon or Dreamland (if you actually think it exist and that it's not just part of the parody trailer). Unfortunately we don't know what either scientist looks like, so we can't say for sure if the soldier is one of these guys. The fact that he has a scar is interesting, but that brings me to my next point. Richtofen has scars under BOTH eyes. You can see a mark under his left eye in Ascension. But his scar under right eye is the distinct one, In fact, the scar under the left eye is gone during Shangri La. The scar under his right eye is the indentifier, just as it's seen on the FS poster. Also note the uniform the man (Ed) is wearing on the FS poster. Same exact outfit as Richtofen on Ascension. What a coincidence! I've said it before and I'll say it again, the facial features need to be ignored. Me and Tac discussed the subject to death, and it only seems to contradict itself as the maps progress. You can check out our timeline thread if you'd like about it. I believe the discussion is on page 7 or 8. Ultimately, if you guys wanna discuss some insignifcant weapon tester from a comical zombie trailer, that has nothing to do with Richtofen and the First Strike poster, then go ahead. I'm just trying to save you some time in the long run as there's a 99.99% chance it's gonna get you nowehere looking into it. (.01% taken away because it's Treyarch haha) Man, where's MMX when you need him. -

Jesus. This thread is just getting ridiculous. That is Richtofen on the First Strike poster. You just can't argue that. Richtofen has had a buzzcut from Ascension, Shangri La, and Moon. You can even see his hair growing back a bit from Ascension from when you see him on Moon. He's not bald in the FS poster, but has a buzzcut. The same buzzcut seen on Richtofen during the Black Ops maps. Hell even on the edge of his cap in Shangri La you can see there's no hairline. The man in the CODZL has only made an appearance in that trailer and that's it. He's not the man on the First Strike poster. He's not the guy in the blank portrait in Kino. He's just a random soldier used for testing. Sorry to sound like a douche, but you guys are way over analyzing this. I've spent months upon months examining every bit of the current storyline, and this unknown soldier has no major significance. There's other things about the story we need to figure out, this just seems pointless IMO. Lenne, apologize for nothing. You are correct in your statements. Shooter -
Jesus, what have I started!? All of these responses are hilarious! ANYwho, back to the OP, it's not a terrible idea.

I think this is the teaser. He's trying to tell us something. Like he's not sure Zombies is caused by or deals with 115 or something. It's very odd. Zombies = 116? Zombies = Nova 6? Zombies = Fish? Who knows

Gotta agree with this. I think he's just some soldier inside the lab that they use to fire the guns. Here's pics of Richtofen's face. The bone structure is noticeably different IMO. Plus the scar is on the wrong side of the face as well. As for the First Strike poster, it seems it was more of an artist rendition of the gang and Zombies. Alot of things are off about it. That's definitely Richtofen in the poster, even though his face does seem a bit off. viewtopic.php?t=16088#p143035 -
I'm gonna make a pretty obvious assumption here that the reveal trailer will be revealed much sooner than November 5th. I imagine the reveal will be probably come out sometime in September, followed by more trailers as we approach the release date. Treyarch's not hiding anything with zombies this year. In BO, it was a big question for a long time whether zombies would return. With BO2, they confirmed it very early. They know we want it, and they're just keeping us in suspense. They've already hinted and talked so much about zombies recently though that a trailer is bound to happen soon enough. As to what the tweet actually means I'm not sure. He's not really stating anything informing, as it's common knowledge zombies revolves around Element 115. Zombies = ???

7qQtCsR8-6I It sounds like Nuketown Zombies might only be available for the Hardened and Collector's Edition. Hardened Edition seems to be the way to go. It's basically the CE without the care package and RC rotocopter, but you still get the Zombies goodness. -
I know you guys are busy behind the scenes, but I think this needs to be addressed. To the OP thanks for donating! It helps when anyone can chip in at least a little something towards the CoDz cause.
