  1. I feel you man I like the older weapons it seems like all the new ones are too similar. The Korean War I don't think has ever been depicted in a game, at least no AAA titles. They could do a Vietnam game that starts in the 50's with French Occupation. Although a WWII game set entirely in the Pacific and Africa would be pretty cool too.
  2. Camp David was also a favorite vacation spot to Ronald Reagan who would fit nicely with the 80's era Cold War exploits of Mason/Woods.
  3. All I can think of now is WunderWeapon/PaP based Gun Game. Plays just like blops version except there are zombies attacking too, if one of them kills you humiliationx2(two levels lost). This could make for interesting gameplay. Would it be more effective to outright kill the other players or just distract them when a horde is close? Bwhahahah. That already sounds like too much fun. 1st gun could be the Python or the Blops 2 version ending with just a bowie/sickle
  4. That actually makes a lot of sense. If the bad guys (commies) have a some type of 100% mortality doomsday plague, how do you deal with that? Well, an army of bots would pretty much eliminate it's viability as a weapon of warfare. It could still be used against an unprepared civilian population though maybe that's the threat.
  5. So the join in progress option would have to be for private/non-leader board matches just for messing around really. That way nobody is skipping rounds on the leader board, but even then it would be severly limited by round number. So like when you go down online with less than 1500 points that's what you spawn with, but really how helpful is 1500 points on round 27? What I'm saying is I wouldn't want to jump into a match on round 27 with M1911 and 1500 points I feel I would just be a liability at that point.
  6. LOL just watched this last night... Had to post it. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=lrW3K6e8Ju0
  7. Your hardrive? Lol, no but seriously. Never seen it before.
  8. MW3 felt like step backwards for me, so I didn't really feel that way for that one.
  9. Yes the first half of the post was an old post from another thread a couple weeks back, but I think it still applies. I even stated it was from an old post lol I'll put quote brakets around it though
  10. ^^^^This is an old post of mine from last month, I still can stand behind it. But other ideas have come to mind. What if the "Campaign" ties the SP to Zombies maybe you could play as Woods, Mason, Hudson and Reznov. All the terminal stuff was already merging the two. But it wouldn't affect the Main story just like the terminal info, it waould just be a fun side story. Or... The campaign takes place on the scorched earth and you are just a band of survivors trying to figure out what the f*ck happened and how to survive. This could eventually lead you to our old gang or even to a solo Sam who's taken over the fight with 935 and is now like a Grimsdotter/Diana/Asset type of character who organizes the remaining humans into a coherent resistence. Or... The campaign could focus on the failed MKUltra attempts to control the zombies. Maybe you play as remnants of 935 trying to clean up their Charlie Foxtrot by getting their broadcasting towers to work or some other such objective. Kind of seeing the fight from the other side. They could do a lot with it. It just depends how far into left field they're going to go with this...
  11. Now I can agree to agree with you on this one. I couldn't have said it better myself. [brains]
  12. With 4 player co-op? I think it'll have replay value.
  13. Ollie North was directly helping to fund the Contras which were known for committing many crimes against humanity including use of death squads, torture, use of land mines, and the raping and killing of nuns, just to name a few. He also had a hand in helping the Contras smuggle illegal drugs within US borders at the same time Reagan was waging a War on Drugs. He was trading weapons for hostages with Iran terrorists. His involvement in the shadow government known as The Enterprise, his defying of the Boland Amendment, as well his involvement with Rex 84, not only work against, but work to unravel the U.S. Constitution. I do consider him a traitor to this country, and find his actions of "following orders" to be nothing short of High Treason. If that's the stance you take then you also have to label Ronald Reagan, George H Bush, Dick Cheney and Donald Rumsfeld traitors to their country as every single one of them had hand in Iran-Contra and the "Enterprise". As a matter of fact Reagan did more than any President before him to set up the shadow government. So before you put that noose around North's neck you should measure out a few more lengths of rope. Like I said I'm not defending this guy, he's at best a spineless toady at worst a complete moron patsy, but he was obviously hung out to dry by the Reagan Administration. I think in the last few decades people have forgotten that ol' Ronnie was knee deep in this. He was set up to take the fall if anything came to light. That's how conspiracies work. Reagan gets to go down in history as the Republican's shining star of goodness and Ollie North is the Goat forever. Does he deserve the label of traitor? Maybe, but If he does then there is long list of American Servicemen, Legislators and Commander in Chiefs who need to wear that sign as well. I guess we'll just have to disagree on this one Mix, but it's ok I still wuuuuv you I do enjoy these meaty conversations though...
  14. It's not treason when you're taking orders directly from the President. Unfortunatly Reagan's involvment in the Iran-Contra scandal has been whitewashed in the following decades. North in the zombies campaign really only makes sense if Reagan is in it too. Well I still think it is treason, I kinda have to agree with Mix. According to the judges at the Nuremburg Trial, in 1947 it became international law that a person could no longer say that they were "just following orders" and that everyone has a mind of their own and the decisions they make are held accountable by them. A good point, but Mix was talking about being treasonous. The Nuremberg trials were about crimes against humanity. The difference being that basically the entire Nazi high command was actively involved in the "Final Solution" as ordered by their Furher. Ollie North on the other hand did not commit any crimes against humanity. He was the go between in a "Black Op" worked out between the CIA, and the Nicaraguan Contra's. Did he commit crimes? Yes he did, but treason? Absolutely not. Hell he was never even brought up on charges of Treason. Don't get me wrong I'm not defending North. He is everything that's wrong with military brass and the Admin he served under was as crooked as a question mark, but calling the man a traitor to his country is not justified. Black’s Law Dictionary defines “treason” as ”attempting to overthrow the government of the state to which one owes allegiance, either by making war against the state or by materially supporting its enemies”. That label is reserved for the likes of Benedict Arnold, Robert Hansen, The Rosenbergs and "Hanoi" Jane Fonda. ****Off Topic: I think Reagan would be hilarious in Zombies. He could use his old movie quotes too. "Well, it looks like it's bedtime for Bonzo" if the silverback or other monkeys are in it. "It taste like Jelly Beans, Jelly Beans mmmmm" when drinking a perk. "Mommy!!" (his pet mane for Nancy) when he's surrounded. "Let's kill one for the gipper" "Mr. Gorbachev tear down this wall" When he can't afford a barrier. "Damn Trickle down economics" When he can't afford a gun/perk. "Well...." when he's out of ammo As a Matter of Fact, 3ARC I WANT REAGAN IN MY ZOMBIES!!!!

  16. But that doesn't mean he still isn't a big voice in the gaming industry. Pretty sure I heard something about him going to work for Spike TV or whatever it is they have for games. I'm glad he ended up somewhere. He was the only X-Play host I bought as a gamer.
  17. Basically. It is either the Vril-ya or Illuminati, there is enough evidence for both that it really just comes down to preference. the two aren't mutually exclusive.
  18. Adam Sessler doesn't work for X-play anymore  I did recall either Kevin or Blair mentioning it when they interviewed Lamia though. He smiled and stated "We're not ready to talk about zombies... yet"
  19. Co-Signed ^^^ this makes sense. Off topic: Five is my second favorite map in Blops Hammerface: No you are awesome my friend... [brains]
  20. Well I think for the 8 player vs. mode we will be generic players affiliated with Tacitus, 935, Ascension, 601, GK etc... I think the map that ships with the game will feature our crew, but I think the "hidden map" that unlocks when you beat the campaign will either be the "five" crew redeux or a whole new set of survivors. At least that's my theory.
  21. Could be that McNamara and JFK are gone due to the historic implications. Maybe Castro, Nixon, Kissenger and Chairman Mao or some other communist world leader. Maybe even Che...
  22. I don't think you're wrong at all. I too feel aprehension towards the coming changes, as I did when Blops zombies started to change, I've just come to accept that I can not change what they're already doing so I just have to embrace it. The new modes have ALOT of potential, but they could be horrible. I feel if I go into this with an open mind I'll enjoy the new experiences more, as opposed to going in with my own baggage weighing me down... Does that make sense? It sounded much better in my head than it read in text lol. [brains] for being civil in an internet difference of opinion
  23. The second framed picture is also Castro. While I'll admit that Cuba would make the most sense, there is another place where run down bars have Castro portraits and Communist propaganda. That would be in Miami Florida, once again I do think it's a Cuba based map, just playing devils advocate...
  24. Please do ^This. Sadly it looks way too open, even saying that its gonna be their biggest map yet. Moon was a huge map, Ascension was a huge map, Call of the dead was a huge map. Now most people who have played zombies must know that size of a map in CoD zombies is an early indicator that it's gonna be easy. Personally yeti, my records aren't as high as yours because round 40-50 matches are where I like to stop on the leaderboards, normally finishing my games with suicides. But I have had no problem on big maps. Even putting the 4 v 4 thing into perspective, I honestly can't see what's coming next as anything different from L4D or operation raccoon city multiplayer. Not saying that we are looking at the exact same thing, but if they want to give that much open space and a versus game type, they might be changing the mechanics completely. If they do that, I'm just gonna avert my gaze at the appropriate moment and hope when I look back I'll see CoD zombies. Why do you even come on this site? All you've done since Zombies have been revealed is complain and whine about what you think possibly may not be good. I've never been one to say this, but in your case I'll make an exception: Just play W@W since apparently you had an issue with half of Blops maps. There problem solved... Jumping to conclusions has become the new pastime here. What you didn't get the memo? We're all suppossed to be cynical "interwebz" DB's who just shit on everything, because that's what cool kids do. [brains] To Lemonaid for not getting the memo
