ATTN Treyarch (Please fix) - Green mist + Paralyzer is OP
XxJason LivesxX replied to Dahniska's topic in Buried
That seems pretty reasonable. +1 -
Thanks Liam!! That's pretty interesting right there. Did the one playing as Stu get the Richtofen treatment after the quote about being put back in a body?

I think it will be a "best of" type of deal where they just cherry pick the fan faves, like Der Riese, Ascension, Kino etc... I also think the next DLC will open up a lot of game modes on the old and new maps

Wow, sorry to go sor far off topic. But great post GRILL, I haven't started looking at anything story related yet. Buried is a fun map so far, looks of little tricks to do. PINNAZ I think Asia is part of the new super continent as well as parts of Europe. Also GRILL great job on the connection with the campaign, I'd love to see more crossover stuff like they had in Blops1. I still believe that Reznov has part to play in the Blops/W@W universe and possibly in zombies as well.

ATTN Treyarch (Please fix) - Green mist + Paralyzer is OP

If the strategy of sitting in one place with the zombies unable to do anything to you unless you mess up is part of what Treyarch made Zombies to be like, then why did they fix the exploit on Die Rise with the GalvaKnuckles room? It does appear that they want to encourage the concept of camping, but not to the point that it's mindless and takes no effort or risk on the player's part. People can use all the arguments you're using for this to defend Die Rise's GK room spawn exploit, but in the end Treyarch fixed it. The simple fact is that this, infinitely camping in a spot where Zombies cannot kill you unless you mess up, isn't what they have (up to this point) designed for you to do. The game cannot be competitive-focused with leaderboards if anyone can simply just do this. Sure, the good players can go for harder strategies but unless they do the easiest, mindless ones then everyone has an advantage over them, which is discouraging and demotivating. This is why I want to see this nerfed - camping in all other maps is doable, but in the end there is a large risk factor. This map shouldn't be any different. What are you talking about? You can die in this spot, just by waiting too long to reload or any number of ways. This is not a glitch or exploit in the least, its just like the catwalk on der riese or the grenade room in nacht. If you are lacking in your skills you will not make it in to the 30's period. If you are talking about the weapon then I don't have too much info as I've only gotten it once and did not use it in this spot. However; I am against pretty much any Nerf on Zombies period, just on general principles. -
Used the Resonator when I was there last night 2 player. The Resonator owned the hallway completely and totally. ***Edit: Also you can place the An94 just outside the window on the Saloons roof for easy ammo between rounds***

Tried this spot briefly last night... I will say this is one sweet camp ground. I would put it right up there with Der Reise's Catwalk and Die Rise's Roof as a go to spot for any camping enthusiasts. Love it, and I'm really digging this map...

So does anybody have a whole video of the full Maxis side ending? Not including PTG's 30 sec BS. I just find it hard to Believe Richtofen talks for like 2 minutes and gloats and jokes and stuff. But Maxis just pretty much says you're fucked kthnxby

ATTN Treyarch (Please fix) - Green mist + Paralyzer is OP
XxJason LivesxX replied to Dahniska's topic in Buried
There is no OP in a PVE game. Stop trying to Nerf the world. There is no need to change anything. Camping is a legitimate strategy and quite frankly us campers are tired of every map being training friendly to the detriment of Camping since COTD. This map makes both techniques viable, so of course Trainers hate it. BTW training is an AI exploit so I don't see how it's more respectable than camping. (Paralyzer/Vuture-aid aside) ***The Paralyzer has many drawbacks that balance the gun as whole. I think your issue is with Vuture Aid*** -
All 7 perks on round 1 (2 at once w/ time bomb + Dart board)

They only spawn when you are in the house. If you get through the house fast enough you only have to kill a handful, and they line up nicely for you as they come out of the house. -
Well there's a few reasons I believe it's partially Australia: 1. MOTD Didgeridoo sound (I don't see how they could confuse them lol) 2. The Australia plate was once connected to the African plate in the first place so it would not be a stretch to think they could re-connect once the stuff starts shifting again. 3. Living Stone Mine is in Australia 4. Old Australian Mining towns would look near identical to an "American Old West" town 5. All signs everywhere are in English. 6. The world map shows the basic shapes of the continents by showing a lava type outline. Neither Australia nor the Southwest coast of Africa are visible. In actuality it looks like a new "Super Continent" 7. Kangaroos are cool

Me and My group almost immediately dubbed him "The Mongoloid" or "Mongo" it even fits with the Achievement "Candy-gram" There is a Western Comedy called Blazing Saddles, in this movie there is a huge, dumb thug named Mongo. The main protagonist, The Sheriff, goes all bugs bunny on him and dresses up as a delivery guy. He delivers a "Candy-Gram" filled with explosives to him. leaving him looking like Wiley Coyote. While the Sheriff is dressed like a Courier he keeps repeating "Candy-Gram for Mongo" through the town. When the Achievement popped I was reminded of this movie.

While I'll agree that most of this map takes place in Angola a portion of the map also takes place in Australia. The location is listed as Primary Plates. I think what is happening is Australia has shifted and somewhat collided with Africa. The Missiles have heated the earths molten core to the point that tectonic plates are free to shift around again...

These journal entries are from the pre-W@W time when Maxis and Richtofen were both working for Group 935. These have no bearing on the O4 or the N4.

What do you mean "recall"? I set the Bomb on Round 5 and then played on to round 10 when my friend went down so I set off the Time bomb and it reverted us to round 5 at the exact spots we were standing with our round 5 loadouts (Guns/Perks). Unless you are talking about a different function of the Time Bomb that I don't know about it seems you are mistaken as the Time Bomb absolutely resets rounds.
-
I can agree with that. Although I would say having to build a plane from scratch every time is a bit much. I think Der Reise, Ascension and Kino got it right with regards to PaP. MOTD is as tedious as foot surgery and Shang and Moon are Trolltastic. COTD's randomness was ok I guess.
-
What are you on about? PaP and DT2 can spawn literally right next to each other in Die Rise, how is one harder to get to than the other?
-
Places that would logically have "old west" mining town would range from North America Central America South America Australia All of the above had towns and mining colonies that would have looked very "old west" African Colonies were much more Victorian at the time...

I too like the Gersch better than the Monkey Bomb. Hell it even made the astronaut dance for us

JZ discusses the RG Mark 2

Confirmed: It's in addition to the OG Raygun not in place of. -
Tactical Nuke: (max 1) Would clear the level just as nuke drop does. RC-MB: (max 2)RC-XD Would have a monkey bomb strapped to it and the player would be able to lead zombies away with it. Deployable trap: (max 2) Would drop a fan or small electric trap that would hold off a hall way or window area for the normal amount of time. Wundertovs: (Max 3) Would be Molotov style grenade containing a random WW Element that would effect anyone in the blast radius (Electricity, Purple goo, Ice, Scavenger blast, shrink ray etc..) Teddy Bears: (Max 3) Would turn zombies in the area of effect into temporary allies. You can tell allies by the butterfly animation over them. Zombie Guts: (Max 2) Would turn the player undetectable by zombies for short duration. Player animation would be rubbing entrails and gores over himself. Would slightly effect vision.

Area 51 was on the map: Moon.... What if they did a reverse moon map? One where you start on Moon in NML and teleported to Area 51 but the map is opened up and you can actually go down into the facility and outbuildings. This could be how the 04 return to earth. 3ARC, PM me for where to send the check Kthnxby
