maybe if we keep him in certain areas, the cave, by the door blocking the old crew, etc. he open something. could it possibly disrupt the forcefield thing? im home right now if anyone wants to try some of this stuff lemme know gt: tokempole

if romero slams the ground with his lights, he electrifies the zombies. dont knife them :)
-
closed my topic and brought it here In the inside Xbox video the dev. mentions there are things for those who want to kill him, but there are other ways to interact him. ok so we have 1: dont shoot him at all and he leaves you alone 2: make him disappear with the VR-11 3: kill him for some drops. ---- seems to me like #1 isnt really what he was talking about cus its the opposite of interaction. #2/3 are killing him, so i think we are missing a way to interact with romero. maybe have a teammate who has been shot by the VR-11 (puts them in "zombie mode") shoot romero. think about it, humans shoot romero and he attacks them, but what if the human in zombie mode and attacks him, will he attack zombies? theories theories theories.

^^your right, he doesn't mention blue cross hairs. thanks for the polite correction.
-
^ yeah but we knew that already, he wouldnt have mentioned it specifically for this map in the inside xbox video if it was just the krauss reviving your team. there HAS to be something else.
-
i know you get a gold one when you aim the VR-11 at a teammate but i have never seen blue, maybe the scavenger/hyena? *edit* they wouldnt name it after a perk/scavenging animal if it only exploded, maybe you can give team mates ammo with it? gonna try it when i get home see if anything happens.

i stole some of carbons. PROS - Easter eggs (items as well as tasks to complete) - Weather changing environment - New zombie movement (sprinters) - New zombie character costumes - Size of the map - Use of zipline and flipper (for free) - The water and the freezing concept - The inclusion of the Core zombie characters (takeo, dempsey, etc...) - VRIL (because of what it can do to your team mates) - Scavenger CONS - The movie star characters - George Romero (his character's play dynamic) - The way the zombies spawn in general - The Path to Juggernog (7000+ just to get there) - how if you ditch a zombie coming through a barrier on one side of the map, they disappear and spawn in on the other side effectively destroying 2 barriers with 1 zombie.

it sure looks that way, it would at the very least help when the fog rolls back in, it seemed to make all the lights in the map exceptionally bright. like NVG's
-
i mentioned this like less than 12hr after the drop viewtopic.php?f=62&t=10898 its nice to be able to see what happens though. (none of my friends wanted to "waste" their ammo on me)

@Dubz, your saying that there is a way to complete it without the green light? i got stuck there in solo yesterday, i blew up the generators, went back to listen to the gang and richtofen (sp?) starts singing about a forcefield. i went outside to see if there was anything new, (morse code etc) nothing. i went to the ships controlls to see if those did the next step, nothing. no green light, nothing. granted i didnt have the whole ship open, but i dont see why that would matter, 'cus i had everything else related to the egg open. what do i do? -
there are only 4 right? i mean the force field went up, and a different sound played when i got (what i thought must have been) the last generator. i guess i have to try again, on a side note, does anyone know where i can find an overhead map of CoTD? i saw one forever ago of ascension (cant find it anymore ) but i cant seem to find one of CoTD, and this map is sooooo big its hard to get a feel for.
-
yesterday while being fucked over by the easter egg, i noticed a little map type thing next to the where the old gang is locked up. its got like 4 equal sections in 4 seperate colors, with what looks like markings showing a path, and an X. no pic cus im at work. but im sure someone else has seen it. do ya think it has any significance?
-
i have a question about the solo egg. i tried doing it yesterday and had everything going good, i destroyed the generator things and go back to listen to the gang, richtofen (sp) starts singing about a force field and the banter continues. im waiting for them to mention anything about the next step, nothing. im like, whatever, i know what im supposed to do next. however, there is no morse code or anything new. again, whatever i'll just go to the controls and continue the egg. needless to say nothing happened. i'm sure i must have done it right up till the force field part, otherwise the generators wouldnt have turned on and the force field wouldnt have gone up when i blew them up. (sorry for the rambling im really really high) anyways, do i have to have most of the ship open to continue the egg? 'cus i only had like 60% of the map open (couldnt get to staminup or juggs or speed cola)
-
honestly, i cant see anything in your video. but seems plausible enough, except the morph your probably seeing is just the explosion from the scavenger.
-
I was playing around yesterday and thought it would be fun to shoot a team mate with the VR-11. what i first noticed was that the reticle didnt turn green or red/ it turned gold. i thought that was interesting so i shot trejo, who then started to smoke like a gas zombie from kino, or like the zombies that you shoot with the vr-11. the interesting part was that my brother (playing as trejo) mentioned something happening on his screen when i shot him. i dont know what happened to him because i was in the other room, it could have just been his vision getting impaired from the gas, i dont know. but i think it needs more investigation. i'll try when i get home from work, but maybe someone else could fuck with it.

i was only calling for proof. I dont doubt that you did it, its just when people like NGT and even randoms on youtube are posting videos and Hi-Res images; and all you can manage is a text description and a link to another text description on another website that i get weary. lighten up mang, no one was even being *too* harsh. sheesh
-
and really,if you have been using the internet for more than a year you should be well acquainted with the phrase "Pics or it didn't happen" so like i said earlier, pics or it didnt happen. i want proof.
-
you havent completed anything. first of all, pics or it didnt happen. secondly, you told us everything we already knew, then told us to PaP the vr11. that dosent solve anything... im just being a cynic 'cus you gave us no new info...
-
ummmm, your last two post contradict each other, first, you found it, its a glowing flashing beeping something in the sky, next its a PaP'd VR-11? good god man, make some sense.
-
on the ship, there are cranes (industrial not avian). I havent played since ~4am but i think i remember them being a yellowish golden color from the reveal trailer. -edit- just watched the trailer, its only golden yellow 'cus of the effect the put on the film. plus idk how you would bring him a crane.
-
tried what?
-
aren't the cranes gold colored? maybe you need to move the crane(s) in order to raise hell (????)/ or send them to paradise...
