We need to do some research in history then if this Spanish writing is true. We all know that the Spanish had ships sent all over the world to conquer as many places as they could. The ship is too modern to be a Spanish ship, but the map . . . where'd it come from?

Five does not suck. It just takes some getting used to to play the map. I've done very well in Five and have gotten to the 20s with my friends. On Solo I can go up to about the mid-tens. It depends on the guns i get from the box, if i choose to take that route. I always try to round up as many points as i can in the first few rounds. To last, it would be wise to use an MP5 for points and the Stakeout for close encounters, or tight situations. Use the box when you have enough points for the elevators. Also, you should get claymores, they come in handy, at least to me they do.

If there is a fifth character, which Treyarch is extremely late in revealing, I would assume it to be either Maxis or Peter for these reasons: 1. When looking at the blacked out portrait of a man, Takeo says something along the lines of "What once was, may once be again". 2. Richtofen had the intentions of killing Maxis, who knows if he just teleported or died? 3. In the Black Ops maps, Richtofen mentions Peter, and how he tricked him. Maybe Peter was working with Richtofen, or maybe Richtofen attempted to kill him and he got away? 4. In the map "Five", we see two portraits in the DEFCON room where the PaP is located. One of them is of Richtofen, and the other is blacked-out. There could only be two other people who are possible, and may be held as important men to the U.S. government, or at least the Pentagon: Peter (undercover agent) or Maxis (the head of the 935 project). If we do get shown who the fifth character is, and he is a completely new person, then Treyarch just screwed with us this whole time. And by the way, I believe "Five" does tie in with the story, and it's also a unique map I like to play sometimes to get zombies into the modern era.

I prefer the team in Five then in CotD, they are more amusing and fun.

lol Ouch!!! That's why he's all shreaded up as a zombie!

Tigers!!!! That would be sweet!!!! You know, when I first played Shi No Numa and I heard monkeys in the Fishing Hut (i think), I thought I would see monkey zombies. Two years later, I see monkey zombies in the most unexpected place: Russia. If you played Dead Ops though, in the jungle temple area, the Nova 6 crawlers appear. That may be a hint? I like that picture btw, it reminds me of Nacht der Toten, except in the jungle.

Call of the Dead, Knife Only Challenge!!!
Scorpion replied to chefwhitey's topic in Call Of The Dead
lmao!!! The title is hilarious!!! xD I should try this though. -
Maybe this was to hint to the Berlin Wall being a zombie map but because of Kino having that wall, they decided to just stay with Ascension.
-
The only reason you suggest that it is Shi No Numa is because you're mind is getting comfortable seeing a map with a vast amount of leaves as Shi No Numa. I believe that this next map, whether it is true the next or after the next (if possible), will be held at or near some sort of ruins or temple. It would be nice to see a beach though.

Call of the Dead - Shalaurova Island East Siberian Sea
Scorpion replied to AlphaSnake's topic in Call Of The Dead
You know, it'd be neat if we were to go to these places in real life and find evidence of a zombie outbreak. That would make my day . . . and would scare the crap out of me. The picture does remind me of CotD, except the zombie map was revised to have more land mass than just water. Cool picture though. -
True on the part that it isn't much of an easter egg, but I go along with what the majority of the CoDz community has come to call it. I think that CotD's is more of a mission than any of the other maps since it has an acheivement/trophy.

I do miss those days from two years ago. I had just started high school as well and would stay up late with my friends playing online, mostly on Der Riese. We did try Shi No Numa and made it far, but Der Riese was chosen the most. Some of us camped and the others would run around, I remember one of my friends running loops around the map. The old days . . . wow lol. WaW had the better guns and the more "zombie-look" atmosphere.

Well if that's true, then they failed to bring out the maps in a orderly manner with time. They took too long to release the map packs, so we may or may not see a map pack 4. We'd be lucky enough if we get a third.

No one knows the exact date of when Kino der Toten takes place, but speculated to be around the 60's - 70's. Don't base the time on weapons, that's all I can say.

Call of the Dead in DOA?! Map 3 Temple?
Scorpion replied to BlindBusDrivr's topic in Call Of The Dead
Well . . . CotD is in a northern Hemisphere area near the Artic. I would like to agree that CotD can be seen in DOA, but then the setting would be wrong. In DOA, it's in an island, sort of beach-like area. However, the temple area does seem correct. Who knows if that'll be a map or not? It does seem to make sense since there was supposed to be a Vietnam-like map. Maybe . . . I just hope that everything makes sense, this Zombies mode does not have much time left to end. :( -
That works for Alex Mason's account.

I've read through the majority of this post and have noticed that you guys have been onto something that could give the location of these passwords. My thought is that we will be able to find the passwords somewhere in the last map for zombies. Someone mentioned that one of the next maps would be called Capitalism. Capitalism could tie into the White House, or someplace relating to the CIA, or the U.S. The reason I think that this may be a map and that the passwords will be found there is because . . . well, who created these files for the characters in the terminal? Wouldn't that be the CIA if it were not the people (Maxis, Sophia, etc.) theirselves who created the accounts? Another thought came to mind when wondering on who created these accounts, and it may have been Maxis or Richtofen. I think that because the four characters would not have had time to record information and be given access to what the scientists at Der Riese would have been given. So maybe the crew's accounts are made by Richtofen? I'm not sure if what I said makes sense, but Im trying to think for where the passwords could be. Perhaps we'll have to listen to every dialogue by the four characters, the radios, and look for clues on information about them. This could help to find the passwords. I hope they are not in campaign, because that will take long. I say that the last zombie map will give us these passwords, or hints to where they are.

What Year Does Call of The Dead Take Place.
Scorpion replied to ThunderGunner's topic in Call Of The Dead
Maybe in the next map we'll see teleporters return!! And as the player teleports, they experience what happened in previous maps such as in CotD, being stuck in the room behind the locked door. Good thought Snake! -
The song in COTD is somehow related to Dr. Richthofen...
Scorpion replied to 8feet's topic in Call Of The Dead
Awesome, good analysis! But about the dominating the world, one person at a time. That reminded me of the man who appears in the loading screen of Nacht der Untoten. He seems to have brainwashed and controlled many somehow. -
I like your thinking, questioning why George was taken away as a hostage and then returned . . . I suppose, and this is just off my mind, that George was taken away for some kind of experimentation. I think that the electrified Romero is being possessed somehow by some super being. Perhaps Samantha, or perhaps by the shadow man that appears in the loading screen of Nacht der Untoten. Aside from the CotD, you said you enjoy questioning why zombies do what they do. I don't know if you have thought about this, but why do their voices deepen? Are they trying to talk? Are they victims to something or someone, or are they out for blood?
-
All I got from the easter egg is that the crew went into the future and teleported back or something. I suppose all will make sense in the next map. The problem is, we don't know when in the Zombies timeline has this happened? Some have said after Ascension, and others suggest after Der Riese.
-
I apologize if this is regarded as a spoiler, but as the majority of you may now know, the easter egg to Call of the Dead is about our old heroes stuck in a dark room behind a metal door with a teleporter. They ask for help and receive your assistance to go back in time, or teleport. I feel as if this easter egg was not that big. I found no meaning to it. Perhaps there is a meaning to it, but I don't understand it. What do you think?

Exactly. Takeo is the one puking his guts out. Don't know how people thought Takeo was not in the chamber. P.S. Takeo sounds like he isn't far from death anyway When I throw up, I'm not far from death . . . Bin Laden didn't throw up and he wasn't far from . . .
-
Takeo: Unless!!!! Gawdzilla whent tu Burlin!!! lol idk . . . Well, if the power were to turn on, electricity flowing through an old building once again, I guess there would be some noise. But those yells are too much for those crawlers.

the new perk doesn't suck i find it very usefull not have to scope down your gun and auto aim to the head. the V-R11 doesn't suck either it makes human monkey bombs and if romero is rageing it calms him down and if you shoot a teammate there invincible for 30 seconds 60 if pap ed. the scavenger is awesome i dont know what your talking about its like a wunderwaffle but better. also how could you hate the song, avenged freaken sevenfold? they made a better hiddin song then elena her only good one was 115. the map was ment to be hard since kino, five, and ascension were to easy there were so many places to camp on cotd you can camp but only for a short time before romero comes and gets you. I like this map being hard dont know about you. plus if they added guns like the AK47 and the M60 than if would be to easy since the M60 would have like 200 rounds and would probably take 4 shots to kill a zombies then that would be to easy, no. and I think we do just fine with just the dolls now we can have a challange to revive people and will teach people to be carefull. its just my opinion believe what you will. Only good one was 115? Are you serious? lol Oh well . . . not going to go against your opinion on that.
