I'm pretty sure we're not working on the same time line as reality. Though I hope this doesn't take place before Ascension. What with the easter eggs collecting parts and all it'd be a waste to not apply them in the final map pack.

Call of the Dead in DOA?! Map 3 Temple?
thylacine replied to BlindBusDrivr's topic in Call Of The Dead
it was originally planned for console as well but scraped (or saved to sell in a map pack, if you will). At least the crop of recent temple threads is better than the firing range ones. They have only loosely based zombie maps on multiplayer maps and this time around they've been doing unique maps not based off multiplayer, I could be wrong obviously but damn were those Quarantine threads getting ridiculous. -
starting location actually. the quick revive island.

when shot at the zombies don't go for you for 15 seconds, upgraded i believe you also gain instakill for the 15 seconds.

That's just the Top-right corner of the BlackOps Loading screen for Shi No Numa. http://i53.tinypic.com/25ywtqx.jpg http://images.wikia.com/callofduty/imag ... Screen.jpg And the left hand side is Ascension. DeckchairsFTW Because they have leaves they are the same? Clearly not the SNN screen. The leaves themselves are of a whole different kind of plant and the background behind the foliage is different. If the in-game file stuff posted a while back is correct then we're going to be seeing the zombie temple map next then Area 51 for the final map pack (WaW had 3, but planned for 4 thus we have Kino. They have again PLANNED for a 4th map pack but if it gets scrapped then no Area 51 until next 3arch COD) As for elephant noises, it's odd. Could just be subtle hints at next map.

Level Music To Be By Avenged Sevenfold and 45 Grave!
thylacine replied to cjdog23's topic in Call Of The Dead
People actually listen to the in-game music? I only activate the music to annoy people. -
What are you trying to connect? WWZ has nothing to do with Call of the Dead. Both are inspired by Romero, but any modern incarnation of a zombie (ones that don't run and scream and that bullshit) is inspired by Romero's work.

Rewatch the videos. they have the m16 without scope with the new perk, so it can't be attachments. It's more than likely a modification of steady aim, not auto headshot or any other nonsense. As for attachments. Finally something to pay for in the higher rounds. Of course it could all be fabricated nonsense for trailer and video purposes.

Call of the Dead may not be straying from the story line....
thylacine replied to DanielStockton's topic in Call Of The Dead
I don't think they are straying at all, in fact if you pay attention and piece basic things together then it appears that Romero came upon old nazi documents about the zombie outbreak and decided to make his own film about it. Upon shooting the actual film they unleash real zombies and have to fight through them, Romero appears to have been possessed during the unleashing. So then the four actors must fight through the zombies to survive. Now, if this is part of the overall story it would indicate that the events of nazi zombies were covered-up and (assuming five is connected) that everyone who was in the pentagon outbreak made it out alive and it too was covered-up. Or at least this is what I believe. The 935 logos in Call of the Dead may give away that this was an actual place of interest during the earlier zombie years, and they probably melt away something that triggers the zombie reanimation. -

Proof of Flamethrower as well as new perk machine location
thylacine replied to thylacine's topic in Call Of The Dead
it's the Inside Xbox video. Also I found out the first pic during the nuke is actually a launcher animation, but the other pic is still proof of flamethrower to me. i made sure it wasnt a fire trap. -
[i posted this on ttg btw, cross forum information sharing ftw) So just taking some quick looks through the footage available I noticed the obvious things. New Wonder Weapon, Dolls return, double barrel shotgun + new sniper. But that's not it. Some people noticed the new perk, well I think I may have found the locale of the machine. Up top near the zipline, or possibly inside the top, you notice two objects with similar qualities of a perk machine. I believe the one on the outside is for the crosshair perk (same color machine and perk obviously) the thing inside could really be anything. hard to tell. Next is the flamethrower which turned out to be the wonder weapon after i went back and looked a bit And this is what it looks like when someone blasts it near you face.

Avalanche or random wind in slippery spots of map.

I've been thinking Richtofen, but it'd have to be a good twist on it. Like he can't be JUST a zombie. Pentagon Thief style may be more his thing, but also IF the imdb thing is correct, it does say that the group of adventurers are attempting to uncover some of the truths behind group 935. Perhaps Richtofen sends himself back in time from the future (past any present story theories) to prevent them from uncovering anything? Though for that to be accurate he'd be teleporting to them and wunderwaffing us. So who knows

"Call of the Dead" is on a COAST! 100% legit. Link in desc.

I love how people are pre-hating on a game with little to nothing being confirmed. Message board fever huh? One guy starts to hate so you all begin to bitch about nothing. (seriously, the name of the map and a 'new cast' has been confirmed. "And I don't want to spoil any surprises for Zombies fans, but Call of the Dead takes it to a whole new level." sounds like a good thing) Anyway, we're not going to be zombies. Hire some expensive voice actors and have them just growl and moan? (one of them I wouldn't mind hearing do that I suppose)

nazi zombie map might based off the ship in project nova!!!
thylacine replied to Lgjoka2002's topic in Call Of The Dead
Not a completely outlandish idea. I remember people before ascension telling their own little BS stories about them playing early versions of it and one of the more talked about ones was a story about the starting room was in the bottom of a ship. But of course that wasn't true, but the idea has been brought up before. It'd be a fun map. Map would sway and such, power would be on the top of the ship. Water based wonder gun (sounds completely useless actually. They shouldn't do that)
