That's what would happen. At that stage it would still be pushing into orbit range. Something is strange with the whole set up of it. And that it crashed JUST outside of the base.
-
While you see, that rocket SHOULD have been in orbit at that stage. I believe it is the work is some sort of sabotage, but by who? Maybe Yuri was rebeling his new position with the rockets and did it to get back. And I doubt it was a prototype. It's almost the exact same model as all the other Soyuz rockets in the game. I highly doubt it's a prototype. It has no distinct differences at all besdies the fact that being an ICBM wouldn't make sense. And here they were working on the Gersch Device, not much with rockets besides sending monkeys which still puzzles me. I believe Treyarch just doesn't really know much about these rockets. It would make sense because the average person would assume from the radios and the rockets presense that it would be carrying the monkeys to the moon. Perhaps I'm looking to deep into it, or there is something hidden under all of this and they do know what they're doing.
-
Has anybody ever looked into it before? below is a picture of the Soyuz models, which incase you didn't know is the type of Rocket in Executive Order, Launch, and Ascension. Except in those missions, the Rocket is an ICBM(Intercontinental Ballistic Missile) On Ascension, it seems like a missile wouldn't be fit for this place. Especially after talk of monkeys being sent to space. But the rocket isn't a manned Soyuz model. Look at the picture in the link to see, the difference is pretty obvious. http://rst.gsfc.nasa.gov/Intro/soyuz1.gif It seems more closely related to the ISS Cargo and Commercial model. And since Commercial models are used for things like launching Satellites into space, so likely the Cargo model. And I would guess that the monkeys would be considered Cargo even though I haven't known the Soyuz as a craft to take to the moon. Even though I have only known it to carry things into orbit or space, seeing as the Russians never made it to the moon. Now another thing suspicious is outside of the power building there is a crashed rocket. Now this is very strage for several reasons. 1. it appears to be a Ballistic Missile, yet obviously Not since it's still in one piece, which wouldn't be the case in a BM since it's tip is a large warhead. 2. It's crashed right into the power generators. Possibly why power is out? 3. It's not on it's final stage. The Soyuz rocket has several stages. The first one is the 4 main rockets lift it off high into/out of the atmosphere. Once out of fuel those break off and the center one continues to go. Then that piece detaches and the to part, which is clearly seen in that picture, it detaches below the thick red line on the rocket. Then that pushes it out further and breaks off leaving the TMA capsule. Which disconnects from the satellite and falls back to earth slowed down by parachutes. While this rocket piece, would still be in orbit. What possibly could have happened would be the rocket didn't ignite at this stage, leaving the whole thing to come crashing back. Or something far more confusing that I have no idea of. To better understand how this rocket works watch this vid because it's more easily understood visually. So there's some strange stuff going on here with the rockets on this map.

Mason wearing Kravchenko's clothes at Rebirth?
BlindBusDrivr replied to BlindBusDrivr's topic in Black Ops
Cause he thinks he's Reznov It's so wierd when it shows Mason killing Steiner saying " My name, is Viktor Reznov" But it's Mason's voice. -
It's a mod. I have the same thing on Five, most mod sets give you a DM and you can drop your weapons with down on the dpad.
-
lol mutant elephants. I can see Treyarch laughing and saying, "And you thought George was hard to kill, hah!" *Mutant zombies elephant charge*
-
I noticed after watching the end of the Rebirth mission where Hudson knocks out Mason, that he is wearing the same thing he always pictures Reznov wearing, since Reznov is him. And the Black leather jacked over the blue white striped t-shirt, is exactly what Kravchenko wears in Payback and Executive Order. Minus the grenade belt. So why(and how?) is Mason wearing his clothes after the guy was stabbed and blown up?

BlindBusDrivr replied to ooooUNKNOWNoooo's topic in Call Of The Dead
I did it with only 2 wunderwaffes and 5 perks, beat that! -
If you had a Choice to Replace Takeo.
BlindBusDrivr replied to Jeager1999's topic in Call Of The Dead
I'd take Sarah Michelle Gellar. Because it keeps the characters unique. Danny is a lot like Dempsey, some of the same qoutes. Rooker reminds me of Nikolai, and Englund is crazy like Richtofen(he says to the box it might as well have given him a potatoe upon recieving a Python). So having he keeps all the characters unique. Except I would keep Takeo, it seems like he's more important to have. -
Here's some other stuff pointing to a Temple^
-
no actually. it seems to blink like Stamin up, but isn't within it's range and sometimes Stamin Up is on and it isn't there so it must be something else.
-
Scavenger. By a mile. VR11 it 1 shot to get rid of one zombie, it has other purposes though. Scavenger is straight up zombie killing. It's like the Wunderwaffe. The DG-3 and the Hyena both have a 6/30 ammo count, shoot slow, can kill a max spawn, fast mobility, can damage you unless you've got Flopper, I mean the Scavenger is basically just a Wunderwaffe with explosive not lightning.
-
But this was actual gameplay, and we already know posters are BS and that the stuff with the machetes, shotguns, etc. were part of the solo cutscene. And the map is only like 2 weeks old, there still a lot to be found out.

I found out the names of most of the Soviet scientists working under Dragovich, and 5 out of the 6 Ascension Group. Scientists: MALTSEV KHARLAMOV FETISOV FREDREICH STEINER Chem. Engineers: DANIEL CLARKE LARIONOV YAKUSHEV Ascension Group: (some of their names are to blury to make out) Ivanov Petrov Stefan Fedorov (4th guy is to blurry) Viktor Vasiliev Boris Titov If can watch NGT walkthrough's at over 480p then try and see the 4th guy. To find out these names just look up a walkthrough of the numbers mission and watch it in stop motion and take note of the names at the beginning. Same thing with Ascension group but in Executive Order. And if you also look in the same frame it says Baikonur's objectives which are:\ Continued developement of RP technology Further developement of liguid propellants R-7 Soyuz launch(the thing you blow up) then secondary objective Counter-Measure defensive system(CMOS)

I recal in the trailer that there was an HK21 with a scope and drum mag, and an MPL with a dual mag, silencer, and reflex, and now that the map is out, there is no way to get attachments except by PaP but it's the same as on the other maps. Is this something we still have yet to discover? woohoo 115th post!

Black Ops violence 'went too far' says Treyarch
BlindBusDrivr replied to Undeadwolfy's topic in Black Ops
LOL wtf? There's neck snaping and throat slitting the old Syphon Filter games why not black ops? Neck snaping isn't gruesome, it's just a crack, they fall down, you keep movin', I don't see why they wouldn't put it in there. The throat slitting couldn't be that bad. They've had a guy slit his throat and blood all other the place in CSI so in BO it shouldn't be a problem. And referring to the Numbers mission, so it's ok to have your character put broken glass in a man's mouth and punch him several times, but neck snapping is over the top? -
Yea I was wondering the same thing. I've also been intrigued by the whole thing with the submarine and it's importance. I believe the Golden Rod it to get the teleporter working.
-
It's more proof on Five that the Gov. found Kino Der Toten and unlocked the German secrets. There are at least 3 of the Der Riese chalkboards on Five, all of them are impossible to see without no-clip besides the one in the power room. There is a room with a Ray Gun, and the same containers as on the KDT stage, and pice of the KDT teleporter base. There is also the letter from the KDT PaP room on Five. And now also this Berlin Wall model, which is also found in Sam's room on KDT. There are also bodybags and shit that you can't see without cartoon mode, there's a LOT more to Five than people know.
-
I noticed, that out by the Stamin Up machine, to the left of that buildings entrance, there is a rock, that keeps having yellow light flicker on and off it's surface. Not sure why, and it's not from PaP light and I checked by shooting a friend with the Lazarus and he didn't see anything. Just wondering if anyone noticed this too or if it means anything.
-
Are you just like making topics of your own about all the Convoy Easter Eggs I already found? I just posted this one yesterday. And the other one a couple days before(the silverback magazine), which you also have one of.
-
I thought that Lazarus was the name of the cat lol
-
Sorry if it's been posted before but has anyone noticed how like the sickle and hammer are on the door that the 4 characters are behind? And the ship seems to be comparable to the Russians ships in Project Nova and Discovery.

sucky. Who hasn't already bought the map that can? Sorry PS3.
