Official CallOFDuty.com BO2 Viral thread - UPDATE 7
BlindBusDrivr replied to Strwrsbob's topic in General Discussion
Also, perhaps it is an oil rig. Look at the tower of the oil rig in Operation Firestorm in Battlefield 3. Oil Rigs are not new to Call of Duty: Only Easy Day Was Yesterday mission outside of Karachi on Rust Desert Rig on Stockpile Seems like oil rigs have been appearing a LOT -
Official CallOFDuty.com BO2 Viral thread - UPDATE 7
BlindBusDrivr replied to Strwrsbob's topic in General Discussion
I'm really not to sure on what it is. I think the Grenade Launcher would be to obvious, and the mechanism they have holding it looks to, makeshift, to be a future weapon. Also note it's not hollow. I'm in agreement that it may be pipes or a structure of some sort. I think it could possibly be a nuclear planet like Chernobyl: It looks like a tower if you til their head. I don't believe Treyarch would give us the luxury of being able to identify something just by looking at it normally . -
The Enemy... update = future propaganda
BlindBusDrivr replied to BlindBusDrivr's topic in Single Player
Thanks Tiger And I agree, I am ashamed of many of our governments activities since WW2. Cold War corrupted everyone But back to the in-game story, I'm very curious to see what a co. as fearless as Treyarch would do with this. and I have an alternate theory about the future quote, that the future quote is propaganda, BUT, and also a hint at the time. The campaign and zombie are in the same timeline. The Moon Nukes allegedly take place in 12/21/12, since the world 'ends'. So maybe the nukes hit, and the world is sent into a chaos, not knowing who to blame. And since DARPA failed it's mission of keeping us from surprise, it is replaced by TACITUS. Who will protect us so the quotes mean the propaganda, but are also a hint a what happens. a double-edge sword. -

Oh why the DARPA Falcon unmanned scramjet craft that's supposed to be able to strike anywhere on the planet in under 12 hours at 13,000 mph then crash into the ocean? Or an X47? Developed from research collected from DARPAs JUCAV project? Why I have no idea that you are getting at ;) -
"The Enemy Could Be Anyone, and It Could Be Anywhere." What the past update said. But what could this mean? I'll tell you what it means, nothing. It's propaganda. Here's some background information: In Afganistan, Al Qaeda was a small organization with a few dozens of men with AK47s, radicals following Osama. But the government made them up to be some sort of hidden super power that we had to defeat. So we send in soldiers to fight them. Did we fight the insurgents? Well yes, but not like it's made out to be. The real reason behind it was just to have an excuse to get oil, have bases in Afghan to be ready for mobilization against Iran if necessary, and to kill of loose ends from the CIAs operations in the 1980s there. The terrorists are not, and were not ever the real problem. We killed most of them off in our first few years. so what's the big picture here? They are giving us a fake enemy, the terrorists, and they are protecting us from it. Just like now with Kony in Uganda, we're not going in for Kony, we want the resources there. Kony's been inactive and possibly dead. A fake enemy, to be protected from. That's what is going on in the future with TACITUS. They are giving us a fake enemy they are going to combat and protect us from, as a way to justify their own agendas. Whether or not you believe this is the truth in reality, this is clearly what's going on in the game. Remember in Black Ops, we were at Defcon 2, major sleeper cells were about to kill millions, govt. officials were heading to underground bunkers, and the public, knew, NOTHING. Alex Mason - "Everything you know is a lie." "The Enemy Could Be Anyone, and It Could be Anywhere." Is the slogan being used by TACITUS, to cover for their true agendas, and since the enemy could be anyone and it could be anywhere, they're the only ones left to trust.

Hmm, the X47a. Build as Northrop's contribution under the Joint Unmanned Combat Air Systems. Nothing to do with DARPA.... ;) -
I think I may have found a way to turn TACITUS into an acronym. TACtical Integrated Technological Unmanned Systems. Since everything put with TACITUS seems to concern UAVs of some sort. Which brings me back to the DARPA ties. and the new message "The future is not as far off as most people think - we're not ready for it" Now, under what circumstances might the USA, the most powerful, advanced, and mobilized army on the planet, be Unprepared?! It would have to be from a force far beyond warfare with another country. Something on the Extinction level. Which brings me to the supposed apocalypse date: 12/21/12 And what's that? The zombies MOON map has no confirmed date? Funny how the world ends in a conspiracy based game, but they don't give us a date, maybe it's because it's obvious what it's implied to be. And back to what I was saying above, so December 21 isn't to far away, just a matter of months. But nonetheless it's the future. And the game is Black Ops II. Which means it will add on in the same storyline/timeline of Black Ops I. and in the Black Ops I story/timeline, it is implied nukes are launched Earth in 2012, in the near future. And one hits the USA. Whose job is it to prevent the USA from surprise? DARPAs mission statement: So they're to prevent us from being surprised, and to provide us with the advantage of surprise. Well if we get caught of guard, and are surprised, wouldn't they have failed their mission? So a new agency would have to take over... TACITUS

Hello guys, I know we're all following the viral closely right now, but I'm going to take some time if here to make some predictions about some stuff we might see, basing off some of the recent info we got from that last update. So we're looking at a time frame from modern time-near future, since we see the Avenger UAV in the one gif. So I'm going to make some predictions here on what we might see: -General Atomics Avenger UAV: it's basically confirmed by the viral, could be either an attack streak like the Reaper or just another UAV recon. -Boeing Phantom Ray: This would likely be another recon killstreak, since it is unarmed (well it's arms are classified) and it's listed as stealth reconnaissance so it will probably be like the new advanced UAV. -S70 Battlehawk: The S70 is a UH60 Blackbird, just rigged with mini guns, rocket pods, more rocket pods, a nose mounted cannon and lots of other stuff. Could be the new PAVE low. -CH47 possibly making a return, after all it is the most widely used middle transport in the world next to th Mi17. -CH53E: This is the Navy's version of the MH53 PAVE Low, the largest and most powerful helicopter in the US army. -V22 Osprey: The replacement for the MH53 PAVE Low and soon most other transport helicopter in the USAF. It has several roles carrying from transport, to attack, to recon. So it's got many possibilities if included. -AC130: It's been a symbol in all the other modern cods, I don't think we need any description for this one. -UH60 Blackhawk: It's the standard transport of the US army, it's got even more usage than the Chinook and the Osprey, so it should surely make an appearance. -Northrop Grumman MQ-8 Fire Scout: The Fire Scout is an VLUCAV, or Vertical Lift Unmanned Air Combat Vehicle, a fancy way of saying it's an unammed helicopter. It's basically an OH-6 Little Bird, without a pilot. -C-5 Globemaster III: The Globemaster is the second largest transport in the US Navy, surely should make an appearance in any modern shooter. -AH-64D Apache Longbow Block III: This is the most modern and modified upgrade of the Apache. It is the most advanced helicopter system on the planet. Once again should surely be seen in any modern shooter. AH-1Z Viper: This is like the Cobra from Vietnam, except it's upgraded for modern time, and it's twice as mean. It's bigger, faster, stronger, and with more armaments. It's the main attack helicopter of the US Navy. Should be making an appearance as well. -UH-1Y Venom: This nicknamed the SuperHuey, because it's literally a Huey platform, on steroids. It's a stooped up version like the Viper. Another Navy workhorse. Also seen in BF3. -F22 Raptor: The greatest stealth combat plane in existence. In future warfare, which it was designed for, it should surely make an appearance. A major symbol of American Air Superiority. -F35 Joint-Strike Fighter: Intended to replace all other non stealth fighter jets in our military. So in the future it should surely play a significant role along with the Raptor. B-2 Stealth Bomber: Because it's a giant stealth bomber and it is epic. M1A2 Abrams: The Greatest tank in the world: Don't forget the REDS and their arsenal: Mi35 SuperHind: Like the Vemon and Viper, a more modern version of al old and successful platform. It's just a very modernized, and even scarier looking, HIND. -Mi17: Standard transport in Russian air force. Russia to Mi8 as USA to UH60 Blackhawk. Mi26 Halo: A giant russian helicopter, the most powerful helicopter transport in the world. Like a PAVE Low, but even bigger... -Mi28 Havoc: The Russian equivalent of the Cobra. Very armored and powerful attack helicopter, originally made to counter the Apache. -Kamov 50/52: Russian equivalent of the Apache. Luckily there's not that many... -Su35: Russian Fighter jet. Very fast and maneuverable, but lacks stealth. -Su37: Another Russian fighter jet. Slight step up from the Su35. -Su50 PAK FA or T-50: The Russian equivalent of an F22, sort of. It's got slightly less stealth capabilities for some greater combat qualities. Expected to hit production in upcoming years. -Anotonov 224- Russian carrier. It's like their C17. T-90: Russia's Abrams.. Looks like we're gonna have some fun in the next game. If I have time I may update this with some possible weapons. Enjoy 8-)

Hey Alpha, I think I found something even MORE linking DARPA. You know how there's so much focus on drones helicopter? DARPA is holding a contest for them: http://robots.net/article/3179.html Check my Avenger thread update for the video, or it should be linked on the page when you click the image.

I don't know it that's the quad rotor, I meant the Quad rotor has thick a thick styrofoam guards and only 2 rotors each. If it is the one in the pic it's very poorly represented. I'm trying to fetch a pic I found last night of some DARPA ones that looked similar. -
Wow that's crazy they can make a legged robot run that fast. Sent a shiver down my spine though cause it reminded me of the 'Mechanical Hound' from Farenheit 451. and it seems like DARPA is going Skynet. Oh @about what xFaTaLx RaMpAgE said, I tried to give you brains, a few times, and it keeps telling me I must spread them first -__-

Official CallOFDuty.com BO2 Viral thread - UPDATE 7
BlindBusDrivr replied to Strwrsbob's topic in General Discussion
Ah here it is. DARPA is at the root of pretty much modern drone warfare. They started most of the research in the Joint Unmanned Air Combat Systems project in 2006, involving the Northrop X-47 and Boeing X-51 drones. Which basically evolved into the modern drone systems, Predator, Reaper, Sentinal, Avenger, Phantom, etc. -
Here's the full document on that TACITUS Project: http://newdesign.aclweb.org/anthology-new/J/J86/J86-3006.pdf I think that the whole Aircraft thing is an obvious nod to DARPA. I mean DARPA has been researching in advanced avionics for quite sometime. Everything from Stealth drones to scramjets. DARPA even helped Boeing and General Atomics in creating the Avenger drone. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/General_Atomics_Avenger and another modern UAV replacing the RQ 170 and other old recon drones, the Phantom Ray http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Boeing_Phantom_Ray Being an aircraft enthusiast, I like where this is going 8-)

Official CallOFDuty.com BO2 Viral thread - UPDATE 7
BlindBusDrivr replied to Strwrsbob's topic in General Discussion
It's confirmed, the new call of duty will be in modern or futuristic times. The new update picture is of an AVENGER UAV. Avenger UAV http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/General_Atomics_Avenger -

BlindBusDrivr replied to BlindBusDrivr's topic in Single Player
Same kind as a Reaper and Predator drone carry, only this one can carry more. Sounds like fun  EDIT: Oh, I see you noticed that mastermind who made that statistics chart just AGM-144 missiles (air to ground model 114 missiles), AGM-114 air to surface missiles. Kind of just repeated himself : -
The New update is up, it is this image of a UAV (unmanned air vehicle) Enhanced image: After some quick Research over some current drone projects I found that it is the General Atomics 'Avenger' drone. Or Predator C. Here's a pic of it: It is a more modern version of the MQ-9 and the MQ-1 drones (Reaper and Predator) and has more advanced electronic and design systems and a also a turbofan engine instead of a turboprop. So this could potentially either be the new reconnaissance killstreak, or an attack one, considering it has an even larger weapons arsenal than the Reaper. It's first flight was in 2009, and it was introduced in the Navy in 2010. And since in the Call of Duty Universe we are still using the Predator Drones in a game that's supposed to take place in 2016, I find it highly likely this one takes place even farther in the future. Either way, having the Avenger as a piece it the game, will be VERY fun. Here's just a brief overview of it's capabilities from Wikipedia: NOTE: Forget what was here before. I found a new thing linking to DARPA even further. Have a look at what they're doing for helicopter UAVs. http://robots.net/article/3179.html Here's the video with some of the drones in it. Seems like the one in the picture could be another fellow DARPA concept drone. 2uWUhk0GIr0

Zombies - Campaign: The Theory and the Evidence
BlindBusDrivr replied to BlindBusDrivr's topic in Single Player
I think people must misunderstand the term, Zombies - Campaign. They assume it would nazi zombies, as a campaign, which it just simply would not. The Zombies are weapons, Black Ops was about a super weapon falling into the wrong hands. Same thing would be with zombies. You're going to be fighting soldiers behind enemy lines PREPARING to unleash and possibly coming in contact with it, but your not actually fighting it. I just noticed how I subconsciously used 'it', The enemy could be anywhere and IT could be anyone. what are zombies? 1. They're everywhere 2. Anybody can be infected. Also, it could be a biological weapon which is a virus which can put people into a zombie like state. If you look closely Nova6 made people look like zombies, vomiting slime, decomposing flesh, etc. I mean they're obvious alluding to it here, and nobody is getting the picture. I may have been wrong about those number streams but we know almost everything has several meanings and that everything is connected. Those documents on the terminal and intel finalized the belief that the two story lines are one in the same. -
We actually do have the ability to begin research and possible create clones now. In fact, we already do it in animals for livestock and agricultural purposes. The only reason we haven't done it with humans is because it is considered 'unethical'. And potentially dangerous if it's in the wrong hands.

Zombies - Campaign: The Theory and the Evidence
BlindBusDrivr replied to BlindBusDrivr's topic in Single Player
This needed to be bumped. I'm getting tired of people forgetting how the zombies and campaign are intertwined. It's about time people see the FACTS. -
This is all very common to me, in fact, I have had this idea for a while. I have had an idea for a game, about WW3 where the govt. stops using soldiers as a main weapon and cloned mutants instead... I won't say more cause I don't want my ideas taken. Sorry Treyarch this version is mine
-
Perhaps the clones could be rigged. Using the Juggernog infused in them to make them super soldiers, and once they die on an enemy battlefield, the 115 from the Perk a Colas will reanimate them leaving a nice surprise for the enemy.

Official CallOFDuty.com BO2 Viral thread - UPDATE 7
BlindBusDrivr replied to Strwrsbob's topic in General Discussion
Anybody else consider that the numbers might be a DNA sequence? http://callofdutyzombies.com/forum/viewtopic.php?t=21185&p=203205 -
I have reason to believe the numbers are DNA the genome site: ftp://ftp.1000genomes.ebi.ac.uk/vol1/ftp/data/HG02470/exome_alignment/HG02470.chrom20.ILLUMINA.bwa.ACB.exome.20111114.bam.bas my theory: http://callofdutyzombies.com/forum/viewtopic.php?t=21185&p=203205
-
Alright so after googling the numbers and doing some research I have come to what is potentially a new conclusion. when I googled up the numbers which stayed constant (34.46.261) I found this webpage: ftp://ftp.1000genomes.ebi.ac.uk/vol1/ftp/data/HG02470/exome_alignment/HG02470.chrom20.ILLUMINA.bwa.ACB.exome.20111114.bam.bas It's about the human genomes and has all these genetic codes, and this gave me the idea that those numbers may be DNA codes! And I thought up many different uses but MixMasterNut nailed the nail on the head when he said 'CLONING'. Bingo guys. It's cloning. Remember something from way back that we could not fully explain no matter how hard we tried? this loading screen. Notice it represents a man time traveling, and a group of strange men looking all similar walking a line and staring at computers. And then the other man being seen in many places through communist warehouses and walking through a time portal. But let's focus on the men for now, where I have seen something like that.... Looks like TACITUS is getting into the cloning business, the ultimate way to mass produce future super soldiers while preserving the civilian population. And this time traveller walking through a portal like the Five one...perhaps we will find his identity in this next game since he seems associated with these clones. And btw about that 'THE ENEMY COULD BE ANYWHERE AND ANYONE" Seems like 3 things that could be getting at: 1. zombies: anyone can become a zombies, and they could be anywhere. 2. mind control: Mason had programmed targets, they could have been anyone, or anything, from anywhere. 3. a disavowed agent: The agency that burned you could be watching anywhere at anytime trying to finish you off. Just my ideas on all this. Sorry if it's rushed the site hasn't been working to well for me and I need to make the best use of it when it does.
-
Nope, because Campaign and zombie story is not related that way. Just because Earth is destroyed in zombie story in no way has anything to do with Black Ops campaign. Moon has no date. For all we know it could have happened in 2030! Also, they're time jumping created a number of parallel dimensions. @MixMasterNut: Yeah I noticed that two with the 4 lost and confused visitors. Lots of references towards zombies here.
