Even with that you can clearly see that the light is going down through the entire screen. This would mean that the box would have to be under the platform and camera where we can't see it. That still wouldn't make sense because if it was under the camera then the light would have to be bigger indicating its closer but it's not. So that light is clearly part of the lighting from the sun. Even Treyarch said the most important part of a game is the lighting, it brings the entire scenery together. They said they were going to put a focus in lighting and I'm guessing it's to make the scenery more impacting. They probably put that light to show how important the lighting is to a scene.

I don't think this would really prove that Shangri-La and Der Riese took place at the same time or any where near each other because between 1945 and 2011 there were many other solar eclipses that occurred. The reason why I say in between these two dates is because Der Riese was in 1945 and Call of the Dead was supposedly in the present(2011 which is when the map came out.). As we all know Richtofen says in Call of the Dead that they traveled to far into the future so when the fuse is fixed they go back somewhere between these two years. I'm pretty sure they wouldn't travel further back than like 1940 for during then Richtofen wouldn't had been to Shangri-La and the shrine to Richtofen wouldn't exist. It also wouldn't be the same year for the shrine to Richtofen would be there but wouldn't be as old and the one in Shangri-La looks like its been there for decades. I also took into account that when we activate the eclipse we travel through time to an unknown year but even then it couldn't be before the 40's because the shrine is still there and Brock and Gary(not positive if these are there names.) and their radios happen during the eclipse's time which is when they were there exploring. Then if you listen to one of the radios Brock is reading the shrine and it says Richtofen. This would imply that Richtofen had been there a while back. I don't believe Der Riese and Shangri-La happened during the same time or were as close as you imply they were but that's your theory and I respect it. I believe that Shangri-La took place somewhere in the 70's or 80's and with the new theories of it taking place in Mars or Aether, this would make it harder to tell when it took place for it wouldn't be eclipses that are seen from Earth. Hey, but who knows! With all the time traveling anything could happen. As the achievement/trophy says," Time Travel Will Tell"

Actually Paris was supposed to be Moon, but as stated, Treyarch didn't think it was "season finale" material so they ended Black Ops with a big bang(Moon). They said all this during the Call of Duty XP showcase in the Zombie Panel. Now as many have said, I don't think Paris will be the zombie map to come with Black Ops II but possibly a future DLC map.

Ok good you don't get an email or anything. Thank you for telling me this for I'm in vacation right now so I'm not in the U.S and I've been trying to find out how to make sure you get the map. Also is there any way to make sure if you registered for the four waves of prizes because I went to the site and put my email and code it's just I'm not sure if it registered.

Pretty much everyone has said what I want back but another thing I would like back is how in Black Ops if you were playing an objective game and you aimed at or near the marker for the objective(example:Flag C, Bomb B, etc.) it would disappear while you aimed. I really don´t understand why in Modern Warfare 3 they took it off its annoying when that´s on your screen and you end up dying. MW3= :facepalm:

Everyone here has presented plausible evidence to both sides of when it took place. What I don't understand is wouldn't it be theoretically impossible for Ascension to happen after Moon and every other map if the crew talk about Ascension in Call of the Dead,Shangri-la, and Moon.(not sure about this one) :geek:

I've heard a lot of people make this error and its Woods' tattoo not Mason's. As for werewolves I agree with Kill_All_Monkeys if they are going to have them just have Fluffy be a boss.

It is possible but very,very,VERY unlikely. I for one have never seen something like this before.

Hey everyone! I've been on this site since early 2011 but I never posted an introduction. I decided its better to make one now then never. I'm 12 years old(don't worry though,I'm very mature) and I started playing games at an early age. Actually, I started playing when I was one(Fact). I am fascinated with video games,especially Treyarch Call of Duty's, and love to play soccer. I'm entering 7th grade starting August and I am an intelligent person. I am in all advanced classes and I am taking 9th and 10th grade math in my next school year.(Not trying to show off if that's what it sounds like ) Like I said earlier, I love soccer. I'm hoping to make it to a soccer team next school year. I was born in Florida and have lived here my entire life except from 2004-2006. In those years I lived in Colombia which is in South America.(I'm Hispanic)I'm a very kind and thoughtful person. I am open-minded so I am not stubborn to talk to(no offense to any one out there). I respect everyone's opinion and try to be as nice as possible. I love zombies with a passion! If I didn't I wouldn't be on this website. I love doing research and discovering all the things in the storyline. I am a reader so I can get through a long book in a couple of days. I also love to draw and a lot of people say I'm really good at it. My favorite subject is World History and I also love Greek Mythology. One other passion I have besides CoD zombies is the extraterrestrial :geek: . I don't know why but ever since I was young I've always been fascinated with whats out there deep in space.Its not just only aliens but space all together. I have pre-ordered it already and what you get depends where you pre-order it. I would recommend GameStop because not only do you get the two-sided poster of the Black Ops II soldier and that zombie part of it, but you also get a 4 wave of prizes. What I mean by that is that you get a small paper saying that the first prize you get for pre-ordering it is in May(the two-sided poster)and the next three prizes are on July, August, and October. The other three prizes they don't tell you I guess as a surprise. Also, if your a GameStop Power Up Rewards Member you get a free Modern Warfare 3 Prestige Token.

Anyone who's arguing please stop. We are all here to learn and share our knowledge about our zombie passion. We can correct people without having to be disrespectful. Now for The Pentagon Thief, I remember there being a topic about this a while back and we all came to the conclusion that he was Daniel Clarke. The evidence to back this up was The Pentagon Thief and Clarke both have a tattoo that is exactly the same on their neck and face. If you look closely the tattoos are exactly the same. If someone can get a better picture of their tattoos it would be greatly appreciated.

Does anyone know the times of when it will be on in the U.S.?

I actually asked the guy at Gamestop if they had a hardened or prestige edition and he said that they haven't told them if there is one or not. He then told me that when they got them to put up for pre-order they would contact me. They are most likely going to have a special edition of some sort but they haven't told them yet. I still pre-ordered the game and a Black Ops II Official Guide Book but they contact you if they have the special editions for pre-order. Just thought I should let everybody know.

Very nice! [brains] for you! Also, I agree with you on the Black Ops weapons and the crew to be taken out but I think they should keep monkeys, Mule Kick, and the Thundergun. I know it wouldn't make any sense but IMO it makes the maps more fun. What you said about the graphics and sound tweaks I also agree with. EDIT: It won't let me give you brains for I just gave someone some so I'll do it when I can.
