Sending the crew to 'paradise': A step by step guide.
ZombicidalManiac replied to elite378's topic in Call Of The Dead
I don't know if anybody noticed, but if you go to the where the power is, you can adjust the levers and the stearing wheel on the ship. Maybe thats some sort of easter egg...or even better, a way to escape the island? -
Where has this forum been all my life?
ZombicidalManiac replied to killerussian's topic in Site News
Welcome back! I'm new here and I felt the same way you do. I was blown away by these guys. Now I'm a full blown fan! CoDz FTW!!!!!!!!! -
my highest round in Dead Ops Arcade is round 20 solo. But I don't play it much. Theres too many zombies when you get to the later rounds. It's insane. And I have a hard time seeing my player because theres so much going on. With 4 people the highest round I made it to was 27. But again...I couldn't tell which player I was sometimes. But I think 27 is good with 3 other people who were randoms anyway. Plus I got most of the gold, so I was faster than the other guys lol just kidding they were actually really good teamates.

I'm playing Ascension on PS3 right now and I see what your talking about. PS3 wasn't updated so it's always been there. It looks like a metal garage door and if you look at the bottom of it you see a bunch of hands. It looks like theres a room back there and that people were trying to escape through it. That may be an easter egg! When PS3 gets updated, I'll look into it more.

ONLY 130,000 SECONDS LEFT!!!

I was playing Black Ops and looking for clues, intel, and just little easter eggs. Well I started a new game and I'm gonna try to beat the game on Veteran. Anyway, I noticed something that caught my eye. Theres little clocks throughout the level Vorkuta, and they all say 9:55. Well, that means that the little hand is on the 9 and the big hand is on the 11. There are 2 or 3 clocks on this level and they all have the same time. I just thought it was interesting and figured I'd make a thread about it to see if anybody else noticed it or had any ideas that may involve the same issue.

Richtofen must be getting suspicious of Takeo
ZombicidalManiac replied to Mr Dr Prof Richtofen's topic in Ascension
Thats very possible....and probably true. But I still don't understand the Takio Death Date thing. These guys are all from WW2 which means they were alive in 1939-1945 at least. Then they teleported to the 60's. So if Takio's date of death is in the 70's that means they survived Ascension and either teleported back in their original time and grew old, or they just stayed in the 60's and Takio just died in the 70's of natural causes or killed by Richtofen. Or they teleported to the 70's to somewhere else and he died in a zombie map. But those are just some ideas. There's endless possibilities to what could have happened. -
Richtofen must be getting suspicious of Takeo
ZombicidalManiac replied to Mr Dr Prof Richtofen's topic in Ascension
Richtofen is probably just nervous that Takio might still have his memory. Richtofen is just experimenting on the other 3 (or maybe just two since theres clues that Nikoli may be in cahoots with Richtofen) and all their memories were erased so they don't know whats going on. It sounds like Richtefen is worried that his experiment will get messed up. -
Does anybody else see the reflection of the number 5 on the left (our right) lenz of his glasses?

Maybe they did finish the easter egg...who knows? What if the end of the mystery man easter egg has something to do with Call of the Dead and they didn't want anybody to know anything about Call of the Dead until it's release because it was something that nobody would have expected thus ruining the surprise...talk about a run-on sentence. Anyway, let's say that Call of the Dead is really involved with the story of Group 935? We already know that it involves element 115. Also the perks and wonder weapons were made by Dr. Maxis and Richtofen so they definetely might be mentioned in Call of the Dead. Maybe they added the finishing touches to the easter egg and we teleport somewhere after Ascension and it all ties into Call of the Dead (because it's a map that takes place in the present?) I love this stuff...it gets my mind workin and it gets me pumped!!! I love Treyarch and I can understand those who love Infinity Ward but MAN!!! Treyarch are REALLY listening to us!

I was just watching the new video for the Escalation trailer and saw the rest of what the new wonder weapon does....it turns the zombie into a guy with glasses in a suit. What the h-e-double hockey sticks? http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=xP5ZbYZ2-yY

Call of the Dead Timeline and Story
ZombicidalManiac replied to ZombicidalManiac's topic in Call Of The Dead
I've been watching some youtube vids about Call of the Dead and some really good points were made. One person said it looks like they were filming a movie when the outbreak happens because there are zombies that look like normal people which may have been a part of the film crew who were bitten by zombies thus turning into zombies themselves. Plus George Romero weilds a film light...so yea. It could just be a fun map. But if element 115 is involved, you can bet it has something to do with the story. -
Call of the Dead Timeline and Story
ZombicidalManiac replied to ZombicidalManiac's topic in Call Of The Dead
You might be right. But while George Romaro is talking about the old nazi documents we see pictures of Kino and Der Riese...so that says something. Also we see Jugg, Double Tap, and Quick Revive...and the ray gun. These are all things that wouldn't be possible without Dr. Maxis and Richtofen. They may make an appearance in this map. Don't forget, they travel through time. But if they don't make an appearance, I'm sure they will be referenced at least. But you might be right it could just be a fun map. But I hope not. -
Ok guys...so we've all seen the trailers for Call of the Dead. I'm even willing to bet we've watched them more than once. The one trailer was WICKED!!! Then the Inside XBox trailer actually showed us a bit of gameplay. So I noticed something. In the beginning scene of the Inside XBox video we see George Romaro sitting in a chair talking to the camera. He says "Years ago I did research for a World War 2 movie. I came across some old Nazi documents. I couldn't believe what I was reading." While he's talking we see flashback cut scenes of what looks like Kino Der Toten. Then at the end of his little speech we see another flashback cut scene of the 935 logo...but it's the logo we see on the wall at Der Riese where the power is. So we have two flashbacks of old maps while he says he was reading old nazi documents for a movie. Nacht, Verruckt, Shi, Der, Kino, Dead Ops, and Ascension all happened in the past. This map looks like it may be in present day. So all the things Nikoli, Dempsey, Richtofen, and Takeo did were documented by the nazis, and in "present day" have been found. We've heard the four new characters are at a Siberian outpost looking for remains of element 115. Maybe the documents that were found told all the things element 115 could do, and how the original four had many messed up experiences with it involving zombies and what not. So a rougue group of kick ass warriors are hired by the illuminati to go find it but are attacked by the flesh eating puss buckets on their quest. Maybe that means the original 4 characters just arent a part of this chapter in the story line...or maybe they are. Maybe they'll make a special appearance in this map. The guy in the Inside Xbox video says to shoot everything we see with every different weapon and we'll be surprised or whatever. So easter egg's ahoy!!!

Hello Jay, I am new here as well. I play zombies all the time. When I get bored sometimes I switch to multiplayer. I am currently working on my spas silenced skills with steady aim during the psn outage. I have joined this forum recently and I love the quick responses from people both positive and negative. Definitely this site has got some bells and whistles as far as posting stuff goes so we can customize our signature and posts which I think is neat. Welcome to the forum and let the brain storming begin. That sounds almost exactly like my situation. I play zombies all the time, but when I get bored of it (which usually only lasts for a limited time) I switch over to multiplayer. I'm not great at it. I usually average about 6-7 kills everytime but I go down like 8-9 times....so I do need improvement on that. But as soon as I started getting really into it PSN went down. I'm eager to get back online but I don't know how much longer this outage is going to last. Theres going to be LOTS to discuss in the coming week when Call of the Dead comes out for XBox....but I have to wait till June probably. But I know I'll still see it the first day whether it be my friend who has an XBox or a youtube video lol.

I'm new to this site and I really love it. I've been on here for a few days already and I've left a few topics and comments so I guess this is a little late...but I know I'll be here a lot so I figure I might as well introduce myself. My name is Jay and I have a PS3. I own COD W@W and Black Ops with all the map packs for both. I'm a HUUUUUUGE zombie fan. I love zombies more than the real games lol. But I still play the normal games. My favorite map is Der Riese for many reason. But this is just an introduction. I just wanted to say hello and how much I love this site. Hope to talk with everyone soon:-) all the best, Jay

I always looked at the difference in the zombies from map to map. In Nacht and Verruckt they look pretty human still. Shi-No-Numa and Der Riese they look worse...Kino they look a bit worse, but in Ascension they're rotted down to the bone. This could be a clue to the time line.
-
When I watch the trailer for Verruckt, Shi-No-Numa, and Der Riese..I automatically want to pop in W@W and start killing zombies...When I watch the trailer for Ascension I'm like "eh" and still wind up popping in W@W and playing Der Riese or something. I have yet to see a trailer for Kino or Five. But I'd REALLY like to see a trailer for Call of the Dead. And also, if Treyarch could possible make a DLC with 4 zombie maps and 1 multiplayer map...well that would just be sweet. Let's see...4 multiplayer maps per DLC...3 DLC's for W@W, and we're coming to 2 DLC's for BO's...theres a LOT of multiplayer maps and 8 zombie maps. C'mon Treyarch let's get moving on a zombie GAME!!! And maybe that game will have DLC's. Really how many people would love to just see a damn zombie game? I know I'd put aside Duke Nukem Forever if a COD zombie game came out before it.

Code Confirms We have NOT CORRECTLY finished Puzzle
ZombicidalManiac replied to wonderboy_3856's topic in Ascension
I know you guys are THE go-to guys for zombies and I know a lot of you are veterans so please don't think I'm trying to say I know anything, or coming on here and trying to outsmart anybody...but I was thinking that I haven't yet seen anybody complete the next round with the death machines. I have a simple theory thats probably nothing but it's worth typing down here for the record. Here's my theory... After your ready for the mystery man easter egg and you go down to the lander spot with the nodes, open the gersch device and allow the last crawler to be sucked into it while the mystery man "Ascends" into the sky. At that point a new round should be beginning. Make sure all the windows are NOT boarded up so the zombies can come in faster and all four players split up and take different spots on the map. I'm pretty sure only 24 zombies can spawn on the screen at one time...but if your all split up, then 96 of them can spawn...24x4. Then kill ALL the zombies in the round in 90 seconds with your 90 second death machines. I know it takes time to get to all sections of the map so the person with staminup should be the one to take the farthest route (actually I'm not sure if staminup even works when you have the death machines.) But 3 people hop on the lander and one player stays behind where the mystery man was set free. The player who stays behind starts slaying zombies left and right. The other 3 players take the lander to the centrefuge and kill zombies on their way to their destinations. One player goes to the pack a punch area, one goes to the PhD Flopper area, and the other player stays in the centrefuge area. That should give everyone enough space to allow 4 different spawning areas for the zombies to spawn in giving the maximum amount of zombies allowable on the map. I know it's a long shot but it's been on my mind since this whole easter egg started and I have yet to see anybody try it. I know I sound like a back seat player but I have no way of trying this since I have no mic and am the only person with a PS3 that I know. I would be willing to get on skype with 4 dedicated and serious players who would like to try it though. Anyway, I just thought I'd throw that out there with the other 400 theories about the easter egg. And I'm not trying to beat a dead horse, I DO know that it is most likely over with the death machines...but theres an inner voice telling me to just try...I wish that voice would just shut up already.
