  1. "I would say the sky is the limit but we've already been to the moon." = [brains] ...haha good one...so true! not to mention...maybe Mars too!
  2. Me too. I can't wait to see where they go with it. I'm really excited to see how they make certain zombie modes competitive. I think it will bring many new fans to the series.
  3. I don't know exactly what Treyarch has in mind for their next release, but as we all know, there's 4v4 zombies. There's been a lot of speculation as to what that means. Obviously there will be two teams fighting against eachother to obtain certain goals. But Treyarch also mentioned that they'll have more zombie modes. So what could we expect to see? I can't help but picture Modern Warfare 2's Spec Op missions. Picture a mission where there's a computer inside of a house in the suburbs that has intel that needs to be obtained. Player 1 has to run the streets through the houses on foot. There's zombies everywhere. Hourdes. Player 2 is in the helicopter shooting down all the zombies he can in his line of sight. Zombie Spec Ops. Or missions like the ones in MW2 where you have to get certain objectives done by a certain amount of time...but with zombies. I keep picturing the nuke strikes. The ones you get when you open up the laptop thing and control the bomb as it falls from the sky, killing a bunch of zombies. Like one player is running a train on the ground and rounds all the zombies up and player 2 strikes with the air assualt. That would be epic. 4v4 sounds like it's gonna be a lot of fun. I truly don't know what to expect. What is obvious to me is that it will be a race for time in any case. Your thoughts?
  4. Thats why I wanted to know if Treyarch was the ones who released that audio clip. Because nomatter WHAT the circumstances are, if it's not official, then don't count on it.
  5. been out of the loop. Was that audio clip official? Did Treyarch really release that or was it somebody like zevodesign?
  6. One suggestion would be to make PhD Flopper a bit more sensitive to dolphin dives. Sometimes I'll land a legit dolphin dive and PhD does nothing and I wind up getting swarmed. Especially on Ascension. Plus bring back dog rounds. I really liked the idea of the the Shangri-La monkeys too. How you could get 10,000 points by round 3 if you got enough drops and let the monkeys pick them up and let them switch to double points. SOLO EASTER EGGS WITH LOTS OF STEPS!!! I have a lot of friends who play but don't want to go through the motions of the Easter Egg hunts. MASSIVE EASTER EGGS! Smarter zombies. A boss like George that you can get rid of for good and not just one round. More melee weapons. Chainsaws, swords, spiked baseball bats, etc. MORE ELENA AND KEVIN!!! I'd actually like to see the zombies do a bite attack instead of a slap. Also, there's something about the W@W maps that the BO maps don't have. I can't put my finger on it, but they were much darker and atmospheric. The W@W Nacht, Verruckt, SNN, and Der Riese were funner to play because they were more movie-like in terms of how dark they were. The BO versions were kind of campy. More things to spend points on. Not objectives per-se, but things that can improve damage, health, etc. There's a few things that I'll probably come up with later...but for the most part, zombies is a pretty solid game mode IMO. I wouldn't change all that much on things. Introduce a bunch of new stuff to us and experiment a bit...see what works and what doesn't.
  7. That isn't Shi No Numa. If you look closely at the left picture, to the very right of it you'll see a vehicle of some sort. It actually looks like a golf cart to me.
  8. The reason it's code named Eclipse is probably because Black Ops 2 is released on the day of a Solar Eclipse. November 13 2012. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Solar_ecli ... r_13,_2012
  9. Very good point. It would make sense to introduce new characters to the mix if we're going to pick up where we left off. I just hope that we don't have to start from scratch by creating a new story. I'd like to see how things ended up with our base crew.
  10. Our original crew consisted of 4 un-named soldiers from the WW2 era. They were used in Nacht Der Untoten and Verruckt. They don't really count though since they were replaced by Tank, Takeo, Richtofen, and Nikoli (our base crew.) Then we had Nixon, JFK, McNamarra and Castro in Five. Black Ops also introduced us to yet ANOTHER group of zombie slayers in Call of the Dead with Danny Trejo, Sarah Michelle Gellar, Robert England and Michael Rooker. We still don't know about the characters used in Dead Ops Arcade, but that probably remains irrelevant. Since it's looking like we'll be in Cuba for our newest zombie map, could we be seeing more of the "Five" crew? Also, will we even be seeing our base crew again? Are they stuck on the moon? I'd like to see all the groups work together in one giant story. Since time travel is possible in this story, it may be plausible. The one thing they all have in common is that they all fight zombies, and have all come in contact with Element 115. Now if we are going to France (which was hinted at in Black Ops) we could be seeing a whole new crew. What do you guys think?
  11. Very well said and I agree to bad it took you so long to join in on the fun, you missed all the fun with the w@w map packs now thoes were the days! I can imagine how that must have been. Back then the unraveling hadn't even seen it's infant stages yet. Everything must have been shrouded in such mystery. I got all caught up during last summer with how it all went down with the GKNOVA site and all the back stories. But I can't say I'm too sad about missing all the fun from W@W because Black Ops delivered. And the people who missed out on all the mysteries from Black Ops will be saying the same thing I'm saying when BO2 arrives. That is if Treyarch stays in the same direction...which I really hope.
  12. ^This. Honestly I can 100% agree with this. Black ops was the first shooter game I had ever actually played and I went straight for multiplayer. When I had just started I was so horribad, I normally went like 1-20 or 2-20 so everytime I got a kill I was excited. After about a month of multiplayer I started getting good and my K/D was at 1.00. Then a buddy of mine from school told me he's a pretty good player and that he's on PS3 too(everyone else in school played 360 unfortunately) so he posed we play together. The best matches of my BO multiplayer career I played with him. Eventually got beast at MP with a 1.60 k/d but I ran blackbird/chopper/gunship every match and almost always got them. Then he said we should play zombies and the lovestory began. The first map I ever played was ascension and fell in love with the simple-complexity of it (if that makes sense to you guys). Then call of the dead came out and I jumped right into it. That map is my all time favorite for zombies. I really learned how to play well by watching Syndicate videos because he makes it look so easy, and really it isn't sometimes. Now I'm just on the edge waiting for BO2 to come out so I can jump right back into zombies. I play multiplayer at times, but I stink at it still lol. And yes, Syndicate videos were always fun to watch for me. I also liked Playthegameco's videos. Especially on the story line aspect. I'd love to watch NextGenTactics with Meatwagon, Gunnsforhire, and all them guys discover the Easter Eggs. Call of the Dead is definitely one of my favorite maps too. The whole Grindhouse movie theme really added to the feel. That map is HUUUUGE!!! I still think it's bigger than Moon...some disagree. But now days I really like Shangri-La and Five. I used to dislike those maps because they were so hard but I'm better now and love the challenge. I hate saying this but I really hope this summer flies by and November gets here fast lol. Being an "anything" zombie fan is great for me this year because The Walking Dead season 3 begins in October and BO2 comes out in November. Let the good times roll!!!
  13. Thats awesome. As it turns out, a lot of people started to realize that zombie mode was something great at about the time of Ascension's release. When Black Ops first came out I knew about it but I didn't know anything about zombies. Ascension was my first dance with zombies too. I played Kino in December of 2010 at friends houses but I didn't even have a next gen console yet. My girlfriend bought me a PS3 on Christmas of 2010 and with all my gift cards saved until March, I finally got around to buying Black Ops. Best darn decision I made as far as games go.
  14. Whats sad? The fact that I'm anticipating the new CoD zombies or that we all have to wait until November?
  15. It feels like it was so long ago that 3Ark released Black Ops. But it was just last summer (around this time) that we were anticipating the new DLC's with new zombie content. Those were really good times. There was an aura in the air and sitting on the edge of my seat waiting for the release's was an adrenaline rush I'm looking forward to experiencing again. I really got into the whole zombie thing during March 2011 around when Ascension's DLC came out. I remember going over my buddys house watching them play it. I had to have it. I bought Black Ops the next day. I didn't realize the whole XBOX first exclusive thing, so I was a bit disappointed when I found it all out because I only have PS3. But that didn't stop me from playing the maps the hour of release. My buddy Joe would literally come over at 5-6am with his 360 and we'd play until we both had to go to work. There was something about the whole experience that I'm hoping Treyarch can provide me with when BO2 comes out. Call of the Dead's trailer came out next and there was so much talk about it. I loved clicking on youtube vids with peoples theories. Then coming on this site to find out more. It was really good times. So much mystery. What was to come of it all? I couldn't wait to find out. By the time Moon came out for PS3 everything had died down and Modern Warfare 3 was about to release. But I still look back on last summer as a great time. The viral videos, the theories, the questions, the mystery....I want it all back. I really hope Treyarch does the mysterious viral video campaign again. That was really fun. Since then I've become a partial master at zombies. Nobody I know personally or online can even see me (ok enough bragging.) What I'm really trying to say is that I'm really looking forward to November, and Treyarch's next DLC season. I trust they won't ruin zombies (like a lot of people are fearing.) And hopefully we'll have more people from the multiplayer aspect of the game coming to join the fun of zombies. I'd like to thank CoDZ and the people who regularly make this site a place to visit daily and of course Treyarch for making a game that seriously makes me wait in anticipation for it's release. MUCH LOVE AND RESPECT!!! Zombicidal
  16. Your a very well spoken fan of DoA. I'm not much of a fan of that particular mode, but knowing that there are fans like you who love it so much, I can't help but want to support your cause. Also it would be interesting to see a sequel of sorts added in BO2. So who knows, maybe Treyarch will bless us all with new modes of DoA. I just know they're gonna blow us away with whatever they decide to do with zombies. Treyarch FTW!!!!!
  17. I'm not gonna lie. I have absolutely NO interest in the cosmic silverback being a boss in zombies. I didn't like it in dead ops and I certainly wouldn't like it in regular zombies. There's just something about it that doesn't appeal to me. If they do put the cosmic silverback in the game I hope it's just another dead ops type of thing. There's something so not zombie-ish about fighting a giant guerilla during a zombie game. But I'm not knocking anybody else's opinion on the matter, I'm just stating my own. I hope they don't put it in the game.
  18. I'm seriously excited to see what 3Ark does with zombies using the multiplayer engine. I keep imagining playing Ascension again, but with predetor drones. One player gets to run the train, one player gets to blow them all up with the thermal view p.d. In BO there was only 24 zombies allowed on the screen at one time. But with 8 players I'm assuming there will be 48 zombies on-screen. That's a lot of zombies. I would also imagine that there will be 2 mystery boxes scattered throughout the maps. Everything will be doubled. But what I'm REALLY excited to see is the new weapons. I really want to see what 3Ark has in store for us zombie fans. I hate to say it but, I hope this summer flys by so October and November get here. I want October to be here because The Walking Dead Season 3 begins, and in November obviously BO2 comes out. Yea I pre-ordered it...got a pretty sweet poster for pre ordering it too haha.
  19. I was actually really excited after I saw the trailer. Some people may feel different, but I think it's time for a change. CoD has been through WW2, Vietnam, and modern times. The only way to move forward is to head to the future. It's science. Plus, 8 player zombies ran on the multiplayer engine sounds pretty epic if you ask me. Think about it. You've got a train going and one of your buddies has a predator drone. He's looking through the thermal sites and sees an army of running puss bags headed your way. so what does he do? He hits the button and BLAM!!! 50 zombies disintigrated in the flash of an eye. Spec Op Zombies. Kind of like MW2 when you have to hang out at the fast food places and kill off a bunch of hostiles. Except, with zombies. The possibilities really are endless.
  20. I hope Treyarch adds the France map that they hinted about so much during Black Ops. I think we're owed that map still nomatter what time frame they decide to go with in BO2. The whole catacome experience is something I was really looking forward to.
  21. Hey everyone. I haven't posted a thread here in a long time and I've been itching to know what the community thinks about this topic. Elena Siegman and Kevin Sherwood have been the magic duo when it comes to making me bang my head while I'm blasting zombies away. Sometimes I'll play a BO map just to hear the song, then quit after it's done. My favorite song is Paradolia from the map Shangri-La. So the question is, will this awesome duo return for Black Ops 2 Zombies? I sure hope so. Nobody does it like them. If I were to make an educated guess, I'd have to say "YES." I think they will return in BO2. But Treyarch may decide to add new music and artists to the roster. Kind of like how they had Avenged Sevenfold in Call of the Dead and Moon. I'm sure Elena Siegman would return for a third helping of vocals for our hearing pleasure, but what else will Treyarch suprise us with this time around.....only 6 more months until we find out ALL the gory details. Until then, I'll be kickin it oldschool with all the Black Ops Zombie maps. Let me know what you guys think. Will they return for Black Ops 2, or do you think that a new team will show up? Or do you just not care?
  22. The only gun that I hope to see that was in Black Ops is the Ray Gun. And maybe a futuristic M-16.
  23. This may be deep. Too deep in fact for most people to stomach, but here goes. A lot of people know about things like MK Ultra and Project Bluebeam, Paperclip, The Philadelphia Experiment, The Illuminati, Freemasons, etc. etc...Well what isn't really known much about is nazi experiments. And as we all know, we ONLY see what we're ALLOWED to see. So lets say that certain things are shown to us in certain forms of media. For instance, there were many movies that foreshadowed certain events that took place throughout our history. I won't mention them because some people are too sensitive. The nazi's were actually quite advanced when it came to weapons technology and experimenting...on humans. There is also rumours that Hitler himself was involved in the occult. With technology at it's peak and a certain fascination with the occult, I'd be willing to bet that those with the finance and the power would have some pretty interesting things to show from their experiments. The human body is much like a computer. Every muscle and nerve serves a purpose. So maybe theres been ways discovered that made it possible to re-activate or re-animate blood cells...much like we see in modern zombie flicks. But maybe the story is changed for shock value. I remember a scene in Return of the Living Dead where a guy was telling a kid about how the movie Night of the Living Dead was based on a true story. That a chemical called Trioxin 245 was being tested and it re-activated dead tissue to where the bodies would jump around. Of course since Romaro knew this stuff and was making a movie about it, the military threatened to sue him so he changed all the facts around. Anyway, think that one over. Maybe Treyarch knows more than we think they know.
  24. Your chararcter sounds cool. Im interested to see what Treyarch does with the whole character situation with BO2. Will they use Richtofen, Dempsey, Takeo, and Nikoli? Or will they introduce a new set of characters? I do have a gut feeling that we will be experiencing something a bit different than what we're used to with this new game. Though I do know that if Treyarch did decide to change the roster this time around, we'd see cameo's or at least some significant references to the old cast. I'm so ready for new zombie maps and story...why does November have to be so far away?
