Or as I say, it gets boring and you can basically end the game But absolutely true what you said. All stress is gone, once the EE is done. A high round attempt without the easter egg is no true high round attempt ;)

Don't know what room you mean, but it doesn't matter. That's pretty crazy. I never made such a crazy experience, but i also dont play FFA too much (actually kinda never). I already freak out if I spawn withing a 20m radius of an enemy in Domination ( I don't expect one beeing there and get therefore raped ), so I couldn't imagine my reaction there C4 / Nade / Last stand on death streak should do it as you said. Maybe Riot Shield. Crazy you could do it with a gun. When I use TI and I see in my 'dead screen', that my killer aims at my TI.. Although I know exactly how to turn, where he is and stuff, he always gets me. Just low how that dude played.

Me and Hands saw him glitched too.

The problems I had with the last few zombie maps.
Tom852 replied to milkjuggernogs's topic in General Zombies Discussion
Very interesting point of view. I sign it. But it does not annoy me sooo much anymore. It's no problem with privates, with randoms I anyway do not take it serious. I see it as a challenge, to keep everybody alive in Shangri La, and to put anybody's ass on the platforms. Even the Russian only speaking. It is super annoying, if you really need to pap, but as you said, 'teamwork comes naturally by understanding point/surviving thoughts'. So the Russian only speaking wants to pap himself at some time, so at some point he will jump and shoot at a platform while he writes Note: On PC it really looks exactly like so when Russians type! And thats my "Pap with randoms" fun-challenge for shangri la, I kinda like it ;) -
The battle: shotguns vs. rifles vs. smg's vs. mg's
Tom852 replied to Eddiethehead's topic in General Zombies Discussion
Hard to decide. Spaz24 is super fun. AK74u is one of my favorite guns and LMG's have a ton of ammo (think you should add 'slow movement' there). Hmm... Cannot say no to the AK74u :) -
Debate and Discussion - Solo vs Co-op
Tom852 replied to Chopper's topic in General Zombies Discussion
Solo is just boring, it's always the same. In coop, you get unpredictable factors, which pimps the game up. Not always to your advantage, but just do not take every game serious. -
yey its here!!

interesting

So, that would mean 1 gersh in the round he spawned is ok?
-
AR: ACR - easy to control. SMG: PP90M1 - Fast fire rate, proper mag Shot: 1887 - high damage, one hit kill LMG: MK something - High Fire Rate and stable Sniper: RSASS - Stable, high fire rate and large mag Pistol: P99 - High fire rate and stable MP: MP9 - Cause its not called FMG Launcher: SMAW - always good for a camper I play mostly hardcore ;)

I never got this... I once had an error, but ATI has something called "VPU recover", where i think the Graphics card resets itself or so, but you are able to continue your game. That happened once or twice, but I also got that on other games.

The video doesn't show gershes flying at him I can't really believe that, but I'm gonna test that.

Tips on hitting the box midround?
Tom852 replied to perfectlemonade's topic in General Zombies Discussion
What I do is, I lead my whole train to the stamin up lander, sprint to the critical box location (of course with stamin up), hit it twice, and start all over. It's slow, but very safe. -
I guess, you just had a need of firesales and noticed every single one, whereas 2x and insta's just passed by your notification ;)

Host migration... Never thought of that but thats it man... @hands: I think too, the basics of the game should stay. But I don't hesitate to post radical ideas, since I trust Treyarch to realize only ideas that will keep the style of the game, or they realize crazy ideas in a way i doesn't change too much.

Recon is especially nice, since every tagged guy killed, counts as an assist. With hardline pro, you get your next vest and stuff even quicker. I usually finish as the top scorer with the recon, due to all assist points. However, this is just the game score. I am not sure if there are better ways to rank up fast. Just thinking of all the time you loose while chopping around... I prefer going for challenges or using specialist to rank up.

This. I won't buy any DLC.

   Well, unfortunately not only randoms think they need to get 200 kills down there... Don't ask me why it has such an attraction. I hate it too. I just stay on the tele, light up a smoke, and chill around till they come on the pad. Think I got used to it.

If There Are Any Future Zombie Maps....
Tom852 replied to Cerberus's topic in General Zombies Discussion
Well, with FIVE and COTD they already showed us, that they tend to use other characters. As well, the young sound developper 'don't know his name' said here, that they run out of ideas for the character's speeches. Therefore I think we get a new team. Maybe the old characters stay ingame in the COTD-style. But I think the new crew will be as crazy as this one ;) -
Good idea with the zombie souls. But could be a bit stronger imho, but you have to kill the zombies within the catching radius. The problem is just, why should zombie souls be bad for the zombies, when shot at them?

Leaked Zombie Map Quarantine/Cave Photp
Tom852 replied to jimirdavis's topic in General Zombies Discussion
Be kind to new members, we all need to learn first. As it was said, it is a fake. It is just a random picture of whatever. Could be self made, could be a screener out of other dark games like doom or quake. The low quality says, that the uploader doesn't want to see you details to debunk it, it is too dark for COD Zombies, no Treyarch sign or something, and they would never leak a pic that freaky early. It is just something you download from a desktop pics site under the category gaming-creepy. -
NML: Taking the luck out of a 90 second PaP (with video)
Tom852 replied to Superhands's topic in No Mans Land (NML)
The trick of this strategy is, that he goes up on the teleporter. The zombies will come in quite delayed there. To get even less zombies at a time up there, he throws the first nade at only 3 zombies [imho not primary to get additional kills, as you say]. Like so, he can avoid them coming up there instantly. So he gets only 1-2 zombies at a time for about 10-20 seconds. That gives him enough time, to finish many zombies with the knife up there, before he actually starts to kite. If he gives those first few zombies in round 2 like 5 shots + knife, and that with 5 or 6 zombies, he gets another 1000 points, pretty awesome. It feels like you need double luck for that. Not only an awesome zombie spawn in round 1, also a super delayed zombie spawn in round 2 [many, but not too many coming from the very far side of the teleporter]. I guess the tricky part is then later, not to go down while getting the train ready up there. But the real tricky part for me seems to place the second nade so super awesome, that you make everybody a crawler, which you then can finish easily with the knife. But once this done, you've done everything. Just collect the points with knifing. This looks to me quite optimal and perfect. Will try that once I start my BO again ;) -
OK, let me try: A Pro... ...doesn't steal kills. ...doesn't mess up other people's trains. ...able to survive if someone messes up his own train. ...respects if a teammate needs a toilet or box break. ...has a crawler in the end if someone says "need crawler" ...will not discuss a year, who shall open the door, but just opens it. ...announces ammo, box and maybe other drops. ...can play with a variety of guns and is not dependent of the box. ...revives you if possible, doesn't revive you if not possible. ...will rarely go down. ...announces where he is and what path his train takes, in case he got downed. ...kills the zombies fast and effective. ...will not say "no ammo", since it never happens. ...doesn't run in the astro's arms, cause he knows approximately where he is and always has an ear open. ...will always have enough pts to reorganize himself in case he goes down or goes spectating. ...communicates important stuff to the team, e.g. which landers he has ridden. ...is able even to get the russian only speaking on the teleporter. ...dumbs the hacker for a guy that actually need the hacker-bonus, and also explains him what the hacker bonus is. ...also hacks a ray gun for his teammates, especially if he already has a good setup. ...does not loose gravity, neither through excavators, nor through explosives. ...is able to use monkeys to change drops. ...can run trains even in freaky areas. ...can run trains even with dogs/george/mad george/shrieker/napalm etc. ...can camp. ...can play on his own, or with the team together. ...is not dependent of doors that need to be opened/closed. ...is able to survive in any round without jug till it's save to get it. ...will keep off the zombies off another player, that just got downed, so he can safely rebuy jug. ...never end a game in case he is host. ...never leave a game. There is a ton more, especially minor stuff, so i just stop. Well, but sometimes, a pro will also: ...isntantly kill the crawler because the progress is too slow. ...let you go down, cause he wants the wave gun / hacker for himself. ...revive you three times in a row while you lie in a trap, so you instantly go down again, just cause it looks funny. ...not go down to nml for jug, cause he knows, that you will anyway just go down again. ...wait till you got downed and then kill himself, cause he is bored. ...make the worst fun ever if a child is in the game. and so on. ============ i like the thought of differ between pro player and pro kiter. that's pretty interesting.

Good ideas, well written! Have some [brains] I especially like the map interaction part. I posted my ideas here. Funny, that many points are similar : viewtopic.php?p=160935#p160935
