Imagine 8 Ray blasting the Zombies instead of just 4, when you hold it in Verruckt at DoubleTap. Is more yummy, isn't it? Imagine 8 guys running seperate trains. Challenging areas for the pros, easy areas for the noobs, each gets a decent zombie amount. Cool and easy. Imagine 7 guys hiding and minimizing their zombies, where as one gets a massive train. Perfect for a gersh. Imagine 8 guys hiding and camping, throwing gershes alternatively (24 available). Some kind of cool, not? So wtf is the problem with 8ppl? I like it. And you can still do 4ppl games, pretty sure. You can also do now 1-2-3-4 ppl games, so I think you'll can choose how many players you want, even if 8 is the max.

That one is totally out of the box. A strat that includes one guy going down constantly Very cool, I like it a lot. It's well thought and seems quite easy. Have some brainies. What I do not like so much about it is the wave time of about 120 seconds.

I was shoked too. But after thinking of it, I'm now kinda happy. We have absolutely seen the current and previous guns, enemies, helicopters, ships, boats and and and. Just seen it long enough. Instead of a Black Ops 1.1, we get a Black Ops 2.0 thinking of blasting away zombies with Plasma and Laser Guns as non-special wonderguns makes me feel good. Therefore, I'm not disappointed it begin a future thing.

COTD is what COTD is. It does not have an infinite damage gun (except VR solo, which is bullshit. So only except with VR coop). And also George is there. If you don't like him, just use the upgraded VR for him every round... I like the map a lot in early rounds (-40). Without George, I would miss something.

The speed would probably be pretty much the same. Normally, you have anyway only one active guy, and the other one hiding. That would be no diff to a solo play. Or, you make a gather up and merge strategy, which is probably more or less at the same speed like solo play. However, you can gain few seconds with a 2ppl merging strat in certain spots on certain maps. In the end, the question is if it really matters, if you are 5% (e.g. 28s vs 30s per wave) faster or slower. With a good 2ppl strategy, it will look like a solo strategy and the speed will be pretty much equal, no matter what you do. The point is just the safety... You always die from time to time. It's just sad, when the 2nd player could revive easily, but is afk and already passed out a long time ago. Taking turns is on the other hand also necessary for insane high rounds, say 80 or maybe 100+. Overall, I'd say have both players in the game, whatever strategy you use. Just for reviving. And if you go for a 20+h game, you anyway have no other choice then taking turns.

Using many different strategies didn't help me too much. I normally listen to radio. Audiobooks are a good idea as well.

It's no discussion, that the strategy must be right. But I was using the same strategy over and over. No Chance for 300. Suddenly, I did it. I just told Super, that I messed the record, but since the psychological pressure is gone, it might be easy to do it again. 4 games later (of those 4, 2 were probably Speed), I did my 317. So, isn't confidence the main resource, that you need? And isn't experience and confidence related? The more experience, the more confidence?

My problem is that doesn't ever seem to kill anyone...like 2 maybe, I don't get it. I have a couple tries, I'll upload and show what always happens to me. EDIT: gVagGUAchXo The first shot seems well placed, but since you are turning so bad ass there, it probably ended up not as precise as you would wish it. You can't even see, where it has landed, and why it had almost no effect. I'd recommend: Close distance to the train, so that the spray of the M&S cannot mess it. Shoot in a way, that the explosion hits all zombies, which you did well. (I think Ehjookayted had opened a quicktip thread about this 2-4 weeks ago). Aim very carefully. Take some time (maybe 1 second) to plan and aim the shot. You did that neither in the first, nor in the second shot!!!! See and notice what happened with your shot, so you know how you can improve. For the general thing between pap and jug. I think it's a good idea to get a ~10 train. Kill em with one shot. Get the next 10 train quickly. Kill with another shot. And repeat. Just as you did it. Use hands' Hybrid, and have already like 1k-1.5k over, when you pap. The running path itself is very individual imho. I like what you did. Some massive Circle around the center swamp, combined with some sidedrop stuff. It's just what I do. I normally went for the Sidedrop and went over to the big circle, whenever it got critical. Just make sure, you have a compact mass of zombies, when you wanna shoot. Make also sure, you have space to organize your zombie mass in a way, that your shot hits all of em. Don't forget, even without Jug, you survive one MS shot on ya feetz. Therefore, you can use the MS also as a path cleaner in suited situations for that. One important thing is imho, that used Shots do not matter that much at this stage. At the end of the game, you'll anyway have some shots left (say 3), that will not kill a single zombie anymore. Therefore, feel free to use those shots rather in the beginning. Of course this won't count for a sick WR game . so when one shot goes wrong, don't give the game up. Be aware, that you can still make it easily! It was just one shot, that you would have had anyway left in the end of your 320 kill game. See my run on my channel. I could tell you at least 5 shots, that were totally messed and useless. The doubleshot I gave after I came down after buying Jug did maybe 2 kills. 2 Shots wasted, but it was 317 (actually more if I didn't die in the last wave). As well what helped me is, that points do not matter. Or overall, feel almost free, to play like you would with Jug, although you don't have it yet. Just one point to keep in the back of the head. Don't focus on "I need Jug!". Focus on "I need them dead, can get Jug later." Don't be afraid to take a hit or take a shot on your feet. You survive one of these. Of course, a following dog hit would kill you, but it's NML. No risk no results. I ain't a NML Pro, but that is just what comes into my mind, thinking of the part between Pap and Jug. Those were my major points, I had to keep in mind, for my 300+ game. I'm sure there is many more to keep in mind... But I leave it to Super and Chopper and all the other NML Specialists ;)

As I said, after believing and inventing and declining many theories: My final result is: Completely random, equal chance for all gun at any time and situation. Except that there are some guns, that only one dude can hold at the a time of course.

I remember that I once read a thread about something with code + box. But it was pretty useless. I think it's completely random, equal chance for all guns. However, there might be something with it. For example, in Shangri, it feels to me, that the JGB is given you very early or very late: either within the first few hits, or then not before the 5th box location. But that's all speculation.

I noticed, that when you've once done a certain amount of kills, it's very easy to do it again. You had struggled as hell to reach it the first time, but once done, you'll redo it within the next 60minutes for sure. I'm wondering, if this is strategy, tactics, self-consciousness or further psychological based fact. The game does not give you better spawns, just because you've done 3xx before. Spawns will be random as always. So why can you do your 3xx so easily again? What do you think?

I should take this guide to my heart, cause I always take too much risk, as it seems. I think I have not managed to do a coop game without a down in Round 1-5 the last week ;)

T-Gun ftw! I do not share your thoughts, I'm sorry Rage quitting has imho nothing or almost nothing to do with the Thunder. Those guys would probably also rage quit if they had whatever guns. Of course it sometimes happens, that a Wonder holder is let bled out on purpose, just to make the gun available. That might increase the chance of a rage quit. But I think that's not happening sooo often. I have not experienced many probs with that topic.

Everything we tried so far didn't help. What works is noclip through the teleporter cage, tele back to earth and back to moon again. The question is, how this should be done in coop....
