  1. Because its fun ? While i have never been in a 8+ hours game I can see it becoming boring sooner or later. But one of the things I like about zombies is how it can go on for hours and still be a load of fun! I would agree, but at some point, it starts to get too crazy. If you start at 8pm, you might hold it to 2am, maybe to 4am. And then you just need to abort, and to disappoint your US friends, as a Europe guy. Or you go crazy and don't sleep at all and you mess up your sleep rythm (however that word is spelled..), and especially your next work day. Or you start earlier in the afternoon, and then you wanna eat at 7pm, again making everybody in the game mad. Or, you thought you have enough smokes till you go to bed and you can buy some the next day. But cause you play for so fucking long, you notice at 3am, that you are out of cigarettes, leading you to drive to the 24/7 store, although you had a few beers. Of course you get in a police check, and the guys tell you that you were .03 blood alcohol per millle below the limit. 'phew'. And you just think "jesus, wtf did that game do to me". Whatever, the point is, it just doesn't fit a normal man's lifestyle. These are of course not examples that happened to me in real life. :?
  2. thanks for this review! I'd give brains but i must spread first :o
  3. It takes absolutely too long. Even a 2ppl takes too long I see no point in doing 8+ hours games, it's ridiculous. Maybe they can cut a piece out of the survival mode. Shorter rounds, but harder. Maybe faster zombie movement, more damage of the zombies, different types of zombies like additional boss zombies, that actually become problematic, not like shrieker or napalm. Stuff like that could be an option.
  4. Agree on the Kino thing. Location placed in Berlin, in Berlin are cinemas, so it says Kino Berlin. Probably coincidence. But: Verrückt means crazy, not sanatorium. There is no point in naming one of the train stations "Verruckt", other than doing a zombie reference: All other stations are named in English, they are either just fun like "no ammo road", "You are here", or IW/MW refrences like "Juggernaut St". And then, there is this one random german word "verruckt". If it is just a german word, why don't they pick one of the other, don't know, one of the other 1.000.000 german words there are? Why should they do a single station that is actually not funny? Why wouldn't they call it Sanatorium then? There is no other point in naming a station "Verruckt" than doing a zombie reference. 100%.
  5. Well, you get a ton of money just from the round bonus. But I guess it needs 20 full LMG's to kill a single dude in 700 It's ridiculous... Really sad, that the leaderboards are always full of glitchers and hackers
  6. That's pretty freaky super awesome.
  7. I guess all want a leaderboard, but no one wants to administer it.
  8. Guess he thought this is a WOW Board :)
  9. I never checked it out, but I've seen lots of unrealistic high rounds on PC. But not as much hacked stuff as in zombies though.
  10. I actually played the hell out of Underground with my mate. We made it to 49 so far, Rank 44 on PC. But I smell the Waves above 50. I plan to do a guide and a strategy tutorial, how we do it. I will also say lots of general things and general co-op things. Just to let you know. There will be a preview on my channel in about 30 min.
  11. thx for the comments. Looks like its not really something cool, but better than a basically not necessary secondary LMG. However, I've played with the shield twice, and I've seen it. So I won't do any research or testing with it. But I'm of course happy if someone of you can do a detailed review on it ;)
  12. Hey. I wonder about your experience with the Riot Shield. I just try to get into the topic a bit. I usually camp as long as possible. But especially in Jugger Rounds I(we) cannot avoid kiting. Talking about Round 30+, I couldnt see any advantage using the Shield so far. It just gets destroyed too fast. Imagine a Jugger and 2-3 enemies shooting you, imagine you getting into a little corner cause you are walking backwards, imagine an enemy starting to shoot you from your (unpretected) back or side. Why not just run, keeping the overview, flashing enemies in front of you?? It's not the key, still leads to death sometimes in higher waves, but is it better then a Riot Shield tactics? I'm basically now just talking about the situation, when you wanna kite and when you start to get your train together in a map, where you will get shots, you will get enemies in your front and in your back.
  13. I agree on COTD, pretty annoying, that people hit George mid round. But I can live with it. Shangri La is terrible for Pap, even more terrible than Moon. But at least, you can get your Jug. In Moon, it's just a huge problem, that people often don't wanna go tele. They have just 400 Points and wanna wait one more round. But then they will have hit the box another 3 times and still have 200 points and say "next round". And then, everybody dies at 10. And the winner is: Kino der Toten. I only meet Noobs and Newbies there. Only. Lobby Leaderboard is very often like 6-12-21. I think it's because it's no DLC and freely availble, so there is a ton of guys that are no real zombie players. They steal your kills, mess your train, go down all the time... Ridiculous. In the DLC Maps, I got way better chances of having people that can at least play a bit normal.
  14. 1. Air Strike - my vote: There is nothing that blows away a jug better, faster and easier. Just needs to be well placed. 2. Riot: Awesome to make it calm for yourself while camping. 3. Predator: Imho getting quite weak in higher waves, and needs too much time to launch. However, pretty handy for big enemy groups or early jugs, or choppers. 4. Delta: Hmm, good for quick distraction of the enemy, but they just die fast like hell, even if they have good cover.
  15. I think the AK area can still be well handled, even with all doors open. For me, the most problematic income of the zombies might be from the bridge towards jug, so I would actually keep that one closed, to make it even easier. However, it's cool to have both closed, so if you need a safe spot, e.g. as said to revive, you won't face zombies behind the closed door. So it's like a one time safe house. But I seriously think, it's not too important what you do with the doors there.
  16. That's no glitch using in the video. They just make use of the properties of that game, and they follow all rules inside the game. The enemy comes in, they shoot, the enemy gets stunned, so the front man is more or less safe. The other guy is behind perfect cover. If the front man dies, he revives him, all legit. Unreal like sh*t, but legit imho. Now, what you do in a game is, you always use the properties for your own need. In zombies, you run circles, because the zombies are so dumb. You could say, you go insanely far with kiting, and you wouldn't otherwise, so kiting is glitching  A glitch is the abuse of coding and do some actions, that are not meant to be done by the developers. But in survival, they want the enemy getting stunned when shot, they want you to revive your mate, they want you to go behind cover, and they want enemies to walk into the player's line of fire, because they were too lazy to make proper, own survival maps.
  17. So for 24 zombies: 50 + 30 + 22*10 = 300 ;)
  18. way2go, did you abort your game? Why are there no more updates ;)
  19. 1. Nacht - No jug. 2. Shangri-La - Pretty intense areas. Imho only 2 safe running spots. But i like the map. 3. FIVE - No Wondergun, hard to use traps, and Thief. Only one awesome area to circle. But i like the map. 4. Verruckt - Like Shangri La, but easier as it. On the other hand no Pap and no (awesome) Wondergun in here. But awesome traps. 5. Shi No Numa - Slow swamp, random perks and no pap, but I just got the hang on the map. 6. Kino - No PHD and not all running spots are safe. 7. Der Riese - Like Kino. 8. Moon - No easy availability of jug (especially in random games), annoying Astro (especially when moonwalking), unpredictable QED (also from others), sometimes risky excavators hacks, no ability to revive downed guys outside safely with hacker, and finally the erratic crawlers. On the other hand unlimited ammo and super easy running spots. 9. COTD - Awesome running spots. 10. Ascension - Pretty much all situations, no matter what happens, are easy to survive.
  20. somebody check it quickly on solo, then we see but tbh, who cares?
  21. Well, If I get QED, I mostly use it until 20. And by using it, I mean I throw it all the time, and I hope I get a cool free gun. The negative effects are not too bad in the low rounds, and free papped Commando's and so on are pretty handy. But after 20, it's getting more and more useless. You don't need free guns or points, extra wave is super gay the longer you play, teleport is annoying... Everything annoying. The only 2 useful things are the kill impact (astro explosion) effect and maybe the reviving-effect. And gersh has kind of both of those effects guaranteed.
  22. What gaming system do u use? I never noticed this on PC.
  23. I thought you get strict 10 points per kill? Never paid attention on it though, but maybe it's like with the Wave: 1st kill: 50 pts 2nd kill: 30 pts 3rd-24th kill: 10pts
  24. Just made a topic about this. Kept myself short there, but however: viewtopic.php?f=53&t=18594&p=167408#p167408 Walking somewhere a small circle in the center is definitely faster then on the tele. On the tele, it takes quite long, until the zombie that spawn far away reach you.
