?? Video guides are way more convenient, aren't they? Describing locations by words and stuff is arduously. I'm looking forward for your guide, since the NGT one is more a documentation how they found it out, it's not a guide for itself ;)

You just pulled this together, so it fits. Why does Ascnesion count to "Black Ops", and why is the Matryoshka introduced in COTD?

It's not. It sprays the ammo like hell, impossible to go for headshots. Even to aim for the stomach is difficult.

Krauss Shooting Damage: Legs, Arms: 1250 Torso: 1500 Neck, Head: 3000 These values are not affected by the sickle. Krauss Knifing Damage: Without Sickle: 500 With Sickle: 1500 Indeed, it is a good idea to knife george, especially with 4ppl. The progress might be slower than with hardcore guns, but considering the ammo safe.... It's cool. We usually do that like this, especially if one guy takes a piss, we other 3 go and knife him a bit. Usually only with the sickle (Damage 1000). But since the Krauss is that fast and has even 500 more damage, yo, go for it if you want. Otherwise, I just recommend the sickle without Ballistic. Works as well.

well yeah, the bottle moves fortunately to another of the 4 possible locations, after you failed.

that there is a relation between the "steps" and the zombie maps has pretty much disproved. someone once said something like "ascend from darkness" = getting up "rain fire" = put the heating on "unleash the horde" = go out with dogs and so on. so you can relate this to everything, just forget it. -

I've tried some stuff out with console cheats. Shooting George with Krauss leads pretty much to nothing. In or out water, while a live or not, while doing down, while respawning, in head or not, nothing happened. He just died after 50 Krauss blades in the head. He came up again with still with the knifes in the head. The yellow blink light at staminup, i've shot it with several stuff, Law, Lawton, Hyena, but nothing happened. The box outside ship. I went there with noclip. Its a 8x4x4 box, standing in 45° angle if you watch from the ship box location. Its empty inside. The texture looks like a developers texture, like a yellowish grey base color with a grid on it. I've shot it with scavenger about 50-100 times, as well with L115 and D115 a few times. Nothing happened. This was done before and after the egg. It's hard to believe they "forgot" to remove this, if it was supposed to be transparent. If it must be there but not visible, it wouldn't be at a "hey I can just slightly see it, on eye's height, where nothing else is around"-location. It must have some function and I'm pretty sure they wanted us to detect that thing. Fuse: I will just hit them in any game from now on in random order, maybe somewhen something happens. Although, it's hard to believe nobody figured that out yet if there was something to it. Dagger: Shot with several guns, all boom boom guns, Krauss and so on, but nothing happened. As well behind there is nothing when you noclip thru it. Whats that with the green and yellow lights? I only got one green when the radios are done, getting constant when the Levers are done. And the pix are not working :( -
Well, yes the scav sux in 40+, but a Ray, M&S, Anarchy is as well useless if the rounds go higher and higher. Once I've done a run to 74 on Ascension, none of those kick-ass guns felt like doing any damage in time or with not emptying 80% of the ammo. So the only guns that worked were Gersh, Thunder, Traps, well, just those with infinite damage. The question is, does a Wunderwaffe need to have infinite damage? And if you wanna consider the scav a Wunderwaffe, is the M&S and co. also a Wunderwaffe? Well I don't know.

well, considering the map and its design and everything... pretty all spots are pretty fast reachable lighthouse to ship by zip spawn to lighthouse by foot ship to whatever by foot and so on they only problem we have, your teammate dies in the power room and you are in the lighthouse. oops, better you have staminup. imho no idea why they made that jumpdown from ship (power room side) to ship deck (jug side) a one way. pretty stupid imho. anyway, that zipline would make sense. either it is still in, maybe a secret one, or it was in and they removed it - not completely obviously - for some reason.

Well we've done this about 5 times in ascension. 4 times nothing, but one time we indeed got tons of powerups, about 2x or 3x as much as usual.

nice points you got there! i will try to debunk or confirm when i get in the situation to be able to check on this. -
i know i can do this. but you know what is easier? running to each dial multiple times, pressing around, counting how often, press a dial so another one is correct and stuff. pretty annoying imho. that is why i present my solution here, which comes in really handy especially on pc with the ingame browser.

UPDATED: Now i get some knowledge with javascript, which means, I could make a html file. http://www.toms-veranstaltungstechnik.ch/dials.html For you, this means easier access, and for PC players access with the ingame browser. Please advertise and recommend this, if you like it. Cause i was just working all day on it - i had no experience with Javascript so far :)

so, finally managed to do it... I could to the radios all by myself, so it's indeed not timed. Worked the first attempt /wo stamin up. Screw everybody that is telling anything else. No fog horns were hitten till the point it has to be done, worked also perfectly the first attempt. But then, still no green light inside the house, although it was shining from the sub. The dials were done before the horns. Then I messed the dials up and made them good again (just pressing one dial 10 times), but nothing happened. I thought, maybe the correct dial numbers must be set after the horns. Anyway, we were doing research and stuff, and, in the meanwhile, someone messed the dials up again. About 10minutes later - still same round - i noticed, that the dials were messed up in the meanwhile by someone [it was correct after horns were done, it was correct when i hit that one dial 10 times and stuff]. So i just thought, hey, lets reset them to the correct position and it was like boooom - light in the house. So the solution to my problems: Nobody must hit any radios too early. One person should do the radios by himself, to make this safe and sure and slow and correct. Nobody must hit any horns too early. One person can do the horns by himself, to make this safe and sure and slow and correct. The dials must be done after the horns. So the order is then, not mentioning minor stuff, like knifing the door: 1) Do not hit any radios or horns or dials till its mentioned here. 2) Fuse 3) Generators 4) Vodka 5) Radios 6) Levers / Wheel 7) Horns 8) Dials 9) VR11-Zombie-suck up-kill thing The weird thing is just, that most guides put steps 5, 6 and 8 into one single step. Many guides say to do the dials before the radios, or its just all together in step X and stuff. That could be the difference to the PC version. I did it twice now like this, worked both times Just now radio miss hits, no fog horn hits till it has to be done, and dials after horns. Thank you all for your help. [brains] for UK Zombies for making me not be pissed off anymore by this easter egg :) -

so that means, you go for power in about round 4 or so, and in round 6 or so someone hits a horn for fun. then u start the easter egg in 15 and you have no chance to finish it? -
Well, the perks. Must have: Revive (ONLY SOLO) Jug If you are on a looping / running around strategy: Stamin Up If you have a scavenger: PHD If teammates are dying 10x each round Revive If you have any slot free: Speed Reload If you have another slot free: Double Tap If you wanna waste a perk slot: Deadshot Basically, when I have a Scavenger, I go to the downed teammate with Stamin up. Saves me up to 10 seconds, depending where I am and where he is (e.g. I am at Spawn, he at the end of the ship where the box location is). I shoot a Scavenger shot close to him - I am save due PHD - and the Scav Shot will protect me while reviving, even without Quick Revive it's an easy revivng. So imho, a Scavenger / PHD / Stamin Combo is way better then Revive, cause it's save too and you are just faster at your teammates. And I wanna have Staminup anyway, its good for my running around strategies. Thats why I don't like QR ;)

no. in the first 4ppl game, it appeared only outside. in the second 4ppl game, it didn't appear at all. all i can imagine is that absolutely no radios and no horns must be activated till you start the sequence, cause this may mess something up. -

the order of events was done correctly: Knife the door Get the fuse Put it in Let em say "destroy the generators" Destroy generators [this we do in random order] Knife the door Get the Vodka Give em Vodka Do the -dials [nothing happens], -radios [Light blinking and morse code appears], -levers [sub comes up, morse stops, light in sky stops blinking] Do the horns And there we get stuck. -
....or are we just messing up something nobody notes? Hey everybody. We tried the easter egg 3 times. First with 2 ppl. We got totally stuck on the radios. Order correct, both players got staminup, we did it as fast as possible. But it didnt work in about ten attempts. Next try with 4 ppl. At the radios, we had to do about 20 attempts till it worked. The order was always correct, we did communication with voice, so we really did this well. At the end, we did it f*cking fast, like all 4 radios in 2 seconds :!: :!: This worked then out. Then horns, no problem at all - first attempt worked. But, the green light wasnt reflected by the lighthouse... The dials were totally 100% correct, everything was done well. We had to abort, cause we didnt know what's going on. 2nd try. Radios. OMFG. Again about 20 attempts till we got it. Seriously! That was so annoying. WTF is going on there? Then the horns later, holy crap. We did it correctly. We tried it out about 10 times. slow, fast, with breaks, fluid, all variations. we even practiced at the end of a round when we messed - well imho we never messed - but the game told us so. And ye I know that you have only one chance per round, I checked always if the sub is there before we did a serious try, when we had a crawler left. Well, at some point we died then all and this try had to be aborted as well. And believe me, everything was correctly done. Like shown in about 10 different youtube videos i watched, even no-cut ones. So my question, is this bugged? Is it different on PC than on XBox? And why does it seem so random if something works or not - especially horns and radios? Ah ye, and for the radios. On XBOX there is that Boxmoving sound, right? This never occurs in PC version. At no point. So could possibly mean that you hit like radio 1-2, then the "sequence" restarts, then you hit 3-4. Since only 3-4 are hit like the game believes, it doesnt work. Then you start again, you hit 1-2, so 4 radios hit: 3-4-1-2. This is wrong, and so the sequence restarts [which you dont notice]. and then you hit 3-4. and only 3-4 is saved in the game sequence code. Could be one theory, but this would be totally mean. For the horns, I just can say one difference was that in game 1 when it worked the FIRST attempt, some guy had the VR. In the 2nd game not. Maybe that is the reason? But I think, I'd read this, if it was true. So any PC players can say something about this? MAybe XBOX Players made the same experiences?
