Yo thx. The prob is I have space for approx 6-7 words I like this Area-Location concept, e.g. we could make area Escher 2nd floor, and location, in the corner xy. If you need to explain how to reach stuff, I'm confused cause I thought map layout is easy?

Thanks, I tried to put that information into the sheet. I would really really really appreciate, if someone is willing to make the "fine tuning" directly in the sheet. There is some kind of format, like just crosses for what gun appears in the map and what gun doesn't. If you could simply for example make these, would already be cool. You need a google account an special permission to be able to edit. I mean, I don't even know if that SVU is Bolt Action or Semi Auto or whatever. So if you could edit inside the sheet, you would see that gap and quickly fill it in, whereas you would not tell it here. So it would be really cool if someones volunteers for that. I have one particular question: Is a location guide for Die Rise necessary? Something like there are two buildings: Building 1: Floor 1: XY Room / Floor 2: XY Room Building 2:... Or is the map layout easy?

Hi. I'm maintaining this sheet here with lots of information about Black Ops 2 Zombies. https://docs.google.com/spreadsheet/ccc ... Z1E#gid=38 I play on PC and can't access the new map. I just read some stuff about it, but it is not enough to complete all information in the sheet. Is someone willing to help me out with that? I would give you permission to edit directly inside the sheet and you could then fill in what is missing, or you can also simply tell me.

I wonder why you did not measure it in Nuketown? There is a counter that even counts Nukes and everything... Bit more convenient.

I'd like to help, but I'm so busy right now. Real life is calling, besides I'm focusing on my two main projects about games (youtube and another game). If you have any minor thing or so, feel free to ask. I read the point about MMX's guide. I understand your point of making an own one. It's a challenge and interesting to make an own project. Some work, that makes sense and is also helpful for reallife (you learn how to do presentations at work or essays in studies for example). But I really think, as my last sentence, that we should rather work on ONE SUPERAWESOME GUIDE, than doing multiple "medium-quality" ones.

What we face here is the common problem of a sequel. You have seen "zombies". Now the sequel comes, and it is again "zombies", so it's boring and crap. The creators try to work with new elements, like new mechanics. But they are not equal the old mechanics, so they are shit. I mean I would say about AR's, that Galil=Galil, M27=Commando, and the rest of the AR's is anyway crap, but although we have the same situation as in BO1, it is different, therefore shit. Let me give you an example. I played BO1 before WaW. And guess what, I think WaW is shit, I think the Wunderwaffe DG is shit. After seeing a Thundergun, a Shrink Ray, a Zap Gun, a Wunderwaffe can't impress me. But people that played WaW first think it's great, even rating it to the most favorite gun over and over again on this board. We need to mention, that we compare a 4 DLC game to a 0 DLC game. In the end, a sequel is always failing. Rare exceptions (Terminator 2 talking about movies) confirm this rule, but BO2 is not one of those. Overall, I enjoy and like BO2 zombies. They did a great job. The compromise between new elements and old classics is done great. Last but not least, people always see the negative stuff. Anyone ever did a compliment about the solo leaderboard, which was asked for 100 times in the suggestion thread??

Could be that the revives of your previous game counted over. If you instantly restarted, you stood in the same lobby. It may have counted as one game. So you didn't start at 0 again. I wanted to test this with barriers, didn't work though I knew it would take me 74 barriers, so I repaired 73, then started a new game (as well in same lobby), but didn't get it at the first barrier i repaired. As well for barriers, I repaired each round 2 windows = 12 barriers. As I knew, it takes you 74 barriers but the first rounds have limitations in how many windows count. One possible theory I got is: R1 - 0 barriers count R2 - 2 barriers R5 - 10 barriers and so on. Another theory (i just got some examples here that lead to 74 counted barriers when i got the perk in 10): R1-2 - 0 barriers count R 3 - 3 barriers count R 4 - 6 barriers and so on Well, wanted to know how many barriers would count then e.g. in R5. So I repaired exactly 80 barriers in 5, which is much. Then I repaired nothing until 25 and 26. Well, it showed that my counter got reset in the meanwhile, cause it took me 74 in 25/26. The system is really fucking complex.

Can you un-randomize the perk machine drop in nuketown
Tom852 replied to Tridalo's topic in General Zombies Discussion
Great sentence. I do not know of any un-randomization, but it's not to exclude that there is some way. Maybe a controllable variable defines what falls (points, doors opened..). -
I would say, the fridge is the replacement of Mule Kick. Therefore I'm pretty sure the map will not get the perk in a future update or that there is MK in it in a hidden form.

Thanks for your research, that brings us closer to the target of understanding that stuff. I would have opened a new topic too tbh I'm still very sceptical about the headshot thing there. I can't really believe, that there are multiple stages and that it has anything to do with the guns you use. I really can't, I still think people don't notice when they loose it. Then, when they regain it, they think they have reached a second stage. But I could be wrong. The fire resistance thing looks very interesting. However, I think it's unlikely it's really there. Because after two months, I guess it would have been confirmed already if it really is there. But here again, I could be wrong ;)

tbh I don't believe it is gun based. I earned it several times with some gun, then I switch to ray, and after 24 kills I hear the loosing perk sound. Theoretically, I should not lose it when using the ray if it was gun based. Or I have the perk, end game, start new, use m14. I earned the perk say with galil, but in the new game i have it for the m14 too, can be clearly seen when you oneshot or headless oneshot zombies in 4-6.

As a German, I would translate it that way: We like to share nothing more to others than the seal of discretion - including what is underneath it. "teilen = theilen", he misspelled that btw. However I wanna say yeah, the first youtube vid that leads to the achievement is considered to be true and copied over and over. Therefore, if the first EE guide is wrong, all YT guides will be wrong. For example on Moon, people were told that they have to do it step by step, like 1->2->3->4->5. But you did not have to it step by step. You could start with step 3 or step 1, or do it simultaneously. All what had to be done before step 5 was like 1->2 and 3->4. But what you did first was not playing a role (e.g. if you first QED the ball, or do the color play in the end, does not matter. Or if you do the plates->computer-hack stuff or the digger-ball stuff or the colorgame-hacking stuff first, absolutely plays no role). But everybody thought, it must be done in a certain order. Once wrote a nice thread about it, wait maybe I still have the pic No, even got deleted on tinypic, but here was the thread: http://www.callofdutyzombies.com/forum/ ... 72&t=17222 So, thanks, nice to know the table is not needed.

Yepp, clays are awesome. The problem is just, that once you really need them cause you are out of ammo, you can kill no more than about 3 waves with a full storage But to take out zombie hordes very fast, they are great in the early rounds too!

Meanwhile, my favorite is in the bus depot, behind the box spot. 2nd favorite is farm, in front of gate. 3rd favorite is in the tunnel. 4th inside the bar at stamin up. BTW, don't forget to watch my rape train guide http://www.youtube.com/playlist?list=PL ... e=view_all

One of my favorite spot is in the meanwhile actually running around the nuketown sign/car/rock/perk-spawn, whatever is there. You have like 3 structures, and you can choose your path around them as you like. Pretty cool to run there

Which Weapons Are Better Than Others
Tom852 replied to MysteryMachineX's topic in General Zombies Discussion
To avoid that the box forces me to use a SMR, I usually go with a wallgun for the early moments in the game. But by time, I'll come by the box quite often and MOSTLY, before I even give one bullet with the wallgun, the box gave me two super strong weapons. So strong, that I will never need refillable ammo. And if that time should come, that I am out of ammo, it will be round 45, rather 50 and I will get the fully ammo'd tertiary gun plus a nice cool beer out of the fridge. Shall even this backup cry for more bullet supply, the Jet Gun will be equipped and ready to use. This happens at a time wallguns will do no more than tickling the zombies. -
Hmm, well I think it depends on how you play the game. No one said you have to do all the easter eggs. No one said you have to set yourself up in round 1, therefore not killing a zombie for 30min. But I still know exactly what you mean. I sometimes get almost a heart attack when I see in theater mode, that there was a round taking the same time like the 10 rounds before. Survival is no-frill, as it was said, exactly what you look for.

Rank System has change the game for everrr!!
Tom852 replied to julpr's topic in General Zombies Discussion
A great thought. I'm still searching the answer for the question: Do I wanna play for fun or for the stats? Well, I don't like playing Grief or with randoms, because I die way more often than in a solo game. However, I still do those games from time to time. -
Round 1 to 3 or 4 or 5 or 6 M1911 and M14. Reason: M14 kills well and is super cheap. Round 4 or 5 or 6 to 13 Bowie, then Knuckles, otherwise directly knuckles. Whatever I come by first. For support, I usually pick the AK74-u or the MP5, whatever I come by first. Of course, Jug is bought as soon as I come by it. I often also buy directly Stamin Up for all the running in the first rounds. Reason: Awesome. Round 14+ While I set myself up, guns can vary. I usually focus on AR's and SMGs. The final setup is: Slot Item Perk 1 Jug Perk 2 Stamin Up or Speed Reload, whatever I feel like Perk 3 Double Tap II, if I don't use bulletgun, of course not bought Perk 4 QR solo / Tombstone coop Gun 1 Ray Gun 2 Galil Fridge M&S Equip Shield until it breaks , Jet in 50+ Nade Semtex Tactical EMP, Monkey in 30+ Reason: Perks: I don't need Reload for all cost, so I often go with Stamin for all the running and stuff. Can also be used well for my reviving strategy with gathering the train a bit away, then running to the downed. Tombstone is imho underrated, cause setting yourself back up after a down takes hours, even if its just for perks. Therefore a genius like perk if ya ask me. The Galil seems to be the best gun besides all that explosive stuff, so I use it. The Ray is just awesome. The M&S is as well just awesome, but dangerous, therefore I use it only in the fridge. Other guns, like DSR50 or RPG upgraded are just not handy. Voice of Justice needs close distance, so I leave it. I usually have enough ammo, therefore I need no wallgun. EMP is handy for a lot of things, but in 30+ once you are set up and at your train spot, Monkeys come in better to recover from downs.

Official Ranking System Discussion and Theories
Tom852 replied to way2g00d's topic in General Zombies Discussion
Common, you claim you have decrypted the code, but you never post proof. You know what I think? Either you just troll everyone, or your mummy is not giving you enough attention and now you try to get it here by inventing interesting information.
