Im not familiar with those gold weapons. when did they come out? micro transactions? Although there may be some creedence to the hesitancy in buying a next gen console or a game designed for next gen on previous gen console, if that was the case why is there still so much traffic on black ops 2? i know Cod is popular but after 18+ months id think that most would have moved on to either ghosts, or if not ghosts a different game altogether. I think its a combination of the two, Sure i've been pretty hard on Ghosts, and its probably a little better than I've given it credit for, but once Treyarch set the bar with Black ops (on the order of having 3 distinct modes of game play) I guess i've had these unreasonable expectations because of how good zombies was in black ops and how good multiplayer was in black ops 2. And as far as those bars being set, ghosts does fall short on both accounts. Extinction is a nice try i guess i would say? and seems many of you here love it, which is great, but it does nothing for me. Hell's Warriors comments on extinction pretty much mirror my sentiments towards it. Maybe I'm missing something, idk, but it gives me no pleasure, unlike zombies which is just instant fun for me. All that being said, Ghosts MP really isn't that bad at all. I just still prefer BO2 MP over it

Like many have said above, it's not necessarily a "linking" or specific connection to the Vorkuta prison break in Black Ops 1, but really just an homage to that bit of zombies lore (meaning all the rumors and ideas that the vorkuta steps were related to the Ascension egg steps, and later on the MotD egg steps.) Basically, the zombies community talked about and theorized about zombeis relating to Reznov and Vorkuta enough, that they decided to go ahead and tip their caps to the community by blatantly calling the Origins egg steps the same as the prison break steps

Yeah, nothing wrong with Micro transactions, but all signs are pointing to IW being in money saving mode. At this point it's the right thing to do from a business standpoint. Havent played the new extinction map yet, but the first 3 have been exactly the same from my point of view. ive played them multiple times too, and it just all feels the same to me, which is something i've never had happen from zombies.

wow. DLC pack 3 just announced today, releasing on this coming Tuesday June 3rd. no trailer yet. no formal announcement. no hype. They have completely put the brakes on Ghosts spending, and it is quite obvious these DLC's are only happening because of contractual obligations. There's actually quite a bit of pressure on Advanced Warfare I think. If it doesn't do well, I'm really worried for our 2015 COD and the future of zombies :edit: LOL one of the MP maps is Favela from MW2. Not a re-imagining, or redesign, not a re-skinned version. Just the same map. Just plain old map recycling. What a joke. IW should seriously be just straight up removed from the CoD franchise.

really cool ideas! the mentas vodka would be a little redundant since deadshot daquiri increases hip fire as well (at least in BO1 i know it did) i really like the hardline, spy-eye and hercules idea, except i think hercules would need to be more expensive (since galvaknuckles are 6k and only 1 hit through 13) brains to you for this though!

neat coincidence.. Ludvig and Maximillion are both quite common German names, so I'm not sure how likely it is that the game designers used that university name to create the character name, but it's fun to see zombies coincidences in day to day life

You say that micro dlc's are greedy, like treyarch is trying to screw everybody with them. Customization is something people obviously like. If you don't like it you don't have to buy it/. very very simple and not at all greedy. If you think that micro dlc's are greedy, then you mus think side items on a restaurant menu are greedy. Maybe it's the average age of the CodZ user that causes this to be such a difficult concept, but activision is a business. Businesses want to make money. If the business didn't try to make money, they would go OUT of business. Asserting that 3arc/atvi would make more money from a map pack? probably true! mcdonalds would make more money by selling better quality product as well. but the inhibiting factor is the cost. 3arc has obviously decided (correctly i might add) that there is more to gain from releasing micro dlc personalization packs, than from a full on map pack. (the margins are going to be higher because the cost to make a camo / reticles is so low, that profit margin is higher thus putting more money in atvi's pocket) a younger person may see this as greedy. A rational adult sees it as smart business not meant to be offensive, but this argument comes up so often that activision is greedy, but if they made worse business decisions, we could say bye bye to CoD altogether

If i'm understanding BinSys's formulas correctly, here's what I come up with for predicted number of zombies: so for 1P, For round 112 =ROUND(0.0896*(112^2)+0.0115*112+23.518,0) = 1149 round 126 =ROUND(0.0896*(126^2)+0.0115*126+23.518,0) = 1447 round 160 =ROUND(0.0896*(160^2)+0.0115*160+23.518,0) = 2319 so they are relatively close, but not exact.

sorry for the 3x post, but I am kind of wondering why they went so far off the original color scheme for this one. the weaponized 115 is different from origins, but it is still similar, just not the exact same. Being as the theme is so "hell oriented" in MotD, I would have at least liked to see a warm color scheme. Still looks cool though!

i think you have to sign up online like through a web browser first, but after that you can download the bing app for iphone or droid and get 10 pts per day (1 pt for every 2 searches up to 10 pts per day) and yes there are xbl gold membership codes available... i think its 699 pts. so there may be some lapses, but still pretty good deal pro tip: you can create up to 5 email addresses to link to bing rewards from the same ip address, so you can actually do 5 times the searches per day if you have the time/desire
