you understand it is literally the exact same camo with a different hue. Thats like saying by changing the zombies eye colors to red, that Mob of the dead is not inspired by call of duty zombies

Heyo! good to hear all is well with Mr. Covert Gunman. It will be really good to have him back with us here at CoDz!

Treyarch Teasing Something?
The Clay Bird replied to LiamFTWinter's topic in General Zombies Discussion
this does seem peculiar. Seems like a lot of easier ways they could have gone if just to release a .gif of the calling cards. Im convinced the wheels are turning over there at Treyarch. This won't be the last we see of content for BO2 i'm convinced -
I understand not wanting to chat, but it was obvious these other 2 guys did. wouldn't it make sense to just back out and look for a more casual game>? just rying to save ya 20 minutes next time lol.

Treyarch has gave us hope!
The Clay Bird replied to ViRaL x Vandal's topic in Research & Development
I do see this as possibly being a thermometer of sorts for DLC success after the next COD is released. Although I don't think these will be wildly successful, i think a better barometer would be either a micro transaction MP map, or a mini map pack with like 2 MP maps and a survival zombies map or something. I mean you can't argue with the fact that even now, there are usually almost as many people playing BO2 as there are playing Ghosts and sometimes when taking zombies into account there are more. I definitely feel like future DLC could be successful, but I think to do so it would need to be something significant like a full on map pack that they could market aggressively. The chances of that are very slim, as it would undermine the current game- 19 replies

Brand new zombies experience: World
The Clay Bird replied to Stop Mocking Me0's topic in Zombie Labs
meh. Really ambitious idea, and can tell you put a lot of time and thought into this, but i think this would likely be a disaster. imagine GTA Online with zombies. the whole point of zombies is that it is a wave based game, and this would destroy that. Not that it couldn't be an interesting game, but it would be 100% different from cod zombies not even in the same arena -
OMG it was the same last night in my game! at like round 20! lol. Now the fire knife do they just mean the one inch punch? or is there some sort of fire staff glitch to get a better one. idk i didn't know what he was talking about, but we weren't doing the EE and we both had upgraded staffs, so i just asked what the hell is the point? lol

Once again, played a round of Origins last night with randoms all having mics. Of course what happens first? player A states "Ok you guys can have the wind ice and lightning staff, ive got fire" What i wanted to say: "Well who died and made you king of the whole damned universe" Seriously. most annoying thing about this map is the ritual of "calling" a staff before the game begins. how about we just decide who gets staffs based on who needs it the most to survive when the time comes, that way we can actually last past round 8, instead of dying every time the panzer comes around

well, i think it's very similar to the Pack-a-punch personalization pack, that is very similar but slightly different from the WaW PaP camo, but with the gold trim. So they want it to be an homage or a nod to the zombies camo, but a little different to place itself apart. I think it is great, but more importantly, I think they've seen how much play BO2 is still getting and realize we still would be interested in new content!

new BO2 personalization packs coming! nearly 16 months after release! awesome news! " Also, for Call of Duty fans who continue to enjoy Black Ops II, here's some more good news: Four new Personalization Packs will be available on Tuesday for $1.99 each. Each set offers a weapon camo, three reticles, and an animated calling card. I don't have images of these yet, but I do have names and descriptions: Beast, which is "inspired by nature's most lethal predators"; Dead Man's Hand, influenced by Old West gunslingers and card players; Octane, which aims to please racing fans; and Weaponized 115, based on the Treyarch’s epic Zombies experience, Origins " via oneofswords.com our good friend Dan Amrich http://www.oneofswords.com/community/1os/blog/2014/02/27/new-customization-items-coming-soon-for-cod-ghosts-and-black-ops-ii#.Uw-pE3d1Ajo could it be the actual PaP camo from Origins?? if so i am beside myself with excitement, especially since i've been playing BO2 multiplayer again since ghosts has disappointed me overall :edit: updated Topic title to better reflect the thread topic 3/4/14 *Update* 4-28-14 Treyarch seems to have been teasing new MP personalization packs via their twitter header again here is today's: looks to me like a different color scheme take on the PAP camo from Mob of the Dead (much like the weaponized 115 camo was to the origins PaP camo) thoughts??

It was funny and short.

On the other forum i post on mainly, the highest ranking actually is a custom rank. I think this would be a cool option, so maybe after Zombie God, when you hit 5000 posts you make custom rank, then you get to pick what name you'd like to appear. Worked really well on that forum, and was a cool goal to attain

How Black Ops 2 Could Have Been Better
The Clay Bird replied to Jbird's topic in General Zombies Discussion
mainly I thought it was pretty good. In general the main complaints i had were the easter eggs. they were too intrusive, the rewards stunk for the most part, I hate the option of an EE ending the game completely, and for instance, teh Buried egg is just too damn hard (last step only of course) -
What's your favorite Door?
The Clay Bird replied to ETEl2NAL407's topic in General Zombies Discussion
hmmm. there are a few doors that my friends and i have as camping back stops that are opened A) on accident and everything goes to shit, or as a last resort to escape. Although I have a special place in my heart for playing solo and training, camping with 3 friends is always more fun -
best accomplishment lately is finally making a round 50 co-op game yeah it was buried, but still we put in the time lol hmmm guess i need to go find that film and screen shot so i can get my richtofen medal......

this basically it doesn't matter where you get the initial kills, as long as you complete them, then after that you have to do the entire round on the bridge with only tomahawk. once the round is complete then you will hear the second notification

Gaming routines, rituals, and superstitions
The Clay Bird replied to Mr. Jay's topic in General Zombies Discussion
hahaha funny thread Jay.. I have to say, if i'm really going to get in a solid night of gaming, it will usually be paired with a bottle of whiskey. other than that, i don't really have much in the way of rituals, except since i live in a small apartment, i sit in the same place every game. now on a somewhat related note, id like to write down what my friends and i simply call the call of duty drinking game. This is in multiplayer. its very simple. for kills you give drinks, for getting killed you take drinks, A regular kill and you announce to the party to take 1 drink. a headshot and you get to give 3 drinks. a hatchet kill and you get to give 5 drinks. in similar fashion if you get killed you take 1 drink, killed by a headshot take 3 drinks. killed by a hatchet take 5. enjoy your 3-4 games and then wastedness -
Official Ranking System Discussion and Theories
The Clay Bird replied to way2g00d's topic in General Zombies Discussion
i said this in my post earlier... its about high rounds. just the kills and no downs isn't all. its about minimizing downs in early rounds and then getting to high rounds -
I think it would work well as an addition to the Gersch device, as like an override ability. So basically you prime and throw the gersch, and then once it lands it will start pulling the zombies in, but you can also press b or something to hit the override and then instead you would be teleported to where the device landed just my silly little idea
-
This idea doesn't really affect gameplay, but one thing that has really helped BO2 multiplayer's longevity is the gold camo challenges. I would like a similar type of challenge structure to get camo's for zombies
