first time solo.. id played several times co-op and got the hang of the map... but my first solo attempt yeah got to 45 then 50 next. although i strongly disagree with BSzombie about tranzit's replayability, i generally agree with his opinions of die rise being the best and buried being the easiest. Back on topic, I had a dream last night that the map pack came out and it was called Dimension. it was pretty cool in my dream world

And if you use your pawns wisely they can become a queen. Die Rise is harder than buried which is more of a challenge. SOoo more replay value to conquer it. Tranzit has the most replayability so it would be the best if it wasn't as slow. Really? I find die rise to be REDICULOUSLY easy:Solo: Get qr., Build tramp., get SVU, get an-94, turn on power, get jug, train in Buddha room indeffinatly, leave only to buy perks and to get another tramp. For the crawlers who give you perks anyways.... Buried: Solo: Drop down, get QR draw Remington, hit box once, get the hillbilly out, Aquire booze, open jug., Lock box, power on, get jug, open bank (not to use), draw 3 of the 5 chalks, get booze, open house, church, and well, draw the rest of the chalk, buy 3 more perk's, use candy on a workbench(s), gain a ray gun, put points in bank, run through house, Aquire 5th perk (6th If time bomb is at hand), pack a punch, train in where-ever you want indeffinatly (use Balistics-knife tip piano thing to gain last perk OR wait until the house is lit up again)... I'm not going to argue anymore, because as a person you are entitled to your opinion, but I'm just putting that out there... I think you're confusing the term easy here with simple. Die rise is very simple to get set up to run to high rounds. getting to the high rounds however are more difficult in comparison to buried. Buried takes a great deal of time to open everything up and get settled. but once you have what you need (paralyzer, mark 2 maybe, svu or lsat or an your choice, vulture) then it is really a mindless endeavor to get to high rounds. die rise my high round is 45 and it took all 3 QRs for that (not in buddha room, in cafeteria room) first solo try on buried made 45 with zero downs and quit, second run made to 50 zero downs and quit. didnt even have a close call. opinion is certainly something we are all entitled to of course so maybe difficulty of a map for you lies in its opening stages moreso than the later rounds...

Ah, you must be talking about the Charlie Intel intel? I just take everything I hear from anyone but Activision and Treyarch with a grain of salt nowadays. Charlie Intel is great, but they do work off rumors and speculation to an extent. You make a great point though, the DLC2 date from them was dead on. It was actually pretty easy to pinpoint a date when all the map packs would come out after DLC1 released, given the pattern they've followed for the last couple years. That's why it's bound to fall on August 27th or September 3rd, that's for sure. The only reason I considered the 27th early was because PS3 usually has the most recent DLC for a month before Xbox gets the new one. Given PS3 gets Vengeance on August 1, the 27th seemed kinda early as it's never been less than a month. But there's really not that big of a difference between 27 days and 31 days now that I think about it lol. August 27th or September 3rd seems like a definitive date for DLC4. Anything later than that would push DLC4's release date on PS3 too close to the release of Call of Duty Ghost. It better be the 27th agreed. And I think what you mentioned in an earlier post might have gone into picking the 27th as a date as far as allowing Ghosts a good 2 months of promotional spotlight. Of course there has also been speculation of a 5th pack of DLC which would be unbelievably awesome although i feel unlikely. I do think we will get SOMETHING after map pack 4 whether it be bonus zombie maps, personalization packs, something along those lines

Oh good! 30 days away! And only 16 more until the info! What joy! Well I wouldn't ge your hopes up for an exact date of anything, as none of us actually know for sure. I doubt these exact dates are right. All you can count on for sure is that DLC4 will be dropping around the start of September. All previous DLC have followed this pattern: DLC1 release for XBOX, 1 month wait, DLC1 release for PS3, month wait, DLC2 release XBOX, and so on. It's a rough estimation, sometimes it's two months, sometimes it's two and half months. But they've always followed this pattern for DLC. The only reason we might see DLC4 early is to avoid taking the spotlight from Ghosts. I really hope we see it released early, but I'm not gonna get my hopes up for it. The intel that suggested a Aug. 27th date for MP4 release also included a suggested July 2nd release for MP3. being that it was correct about MP3 i'd say its reasonable to expect the 8/27/13 date to be accurate. Mp4 for black ops 1 was 8/23/11. lines up perfectly. like you suggested 7/2 - 8/27 is almost exactly 2 months. not early at all. same as they did with black ops 1

What is the WORST possible thing you can imagine?
The Clay Bird replied to Stop Mocking Me0's topic in Research & Development
Gameplay-wise, it is a wonder weapon. About it being bland, I don't have anything to say as that is your opinion. lol am I seriously the only one who likes it? i've never used it aside from doing the EE. to tedious to run around and collect parts and build. Die rise it was tolerable because all the parts were close together. Tranzit just took some mildly good ideas and implemented them in the worst way possible. and the jet gun had no magic to it... thats why it is so bland. all the other WW's have had an obvious 115 effect. this was just a jet engine mounted to a handle and trigger. As far as worst case scenarios... we get another large map with a vehicle that you ride to get tediously from place to place. Anywhere in france is really going to be a downer to me. Moon is the benchmark they are up against with this last map pack, which means in my eyes, anything worse than that is a failure of sorts. It needs to be spectacular and i think it will be. -
Could the MP PaP Camo be DLC 4's As Well?
The Clay Bird replied to Flammenwerfer's topic in Research & Development
No, its a re-imagining of the WaW camo. exactly the same, except has some gold accents and is not completely symmetrically aligned on the weapons. it is definitely not a totally new design. just enhanced version of the old school -
First look at possible new WW for MP4?
The Clay Bird replied to The Clay Bird's topic in Research & Development
With a scope? no, its not a tommy gun. its a Mauser pistol -
by .05 seconds. the difference is negligible and certainly hardly would affect zombies Where'd you get that statistic? Vahn's twitter acct. now that i look it actually didn't do anything to the ADS time, just fire time and rechamber time and sprint in/sprint out time. so if you're looking at fire time then its 2 tenths of a second difference. still very negligible
-
like hell it doesn't! lol the Mob of the Dead trailer is on youtube on the TV. the weapon blueprint says "Maxis" on it... there is zombie posters on the wall. very clearly zombies
-
who would we be playing as then? the N4 were not born yet at that date. (assuming Russman isnt in his 100s lol) the O4 would have been children at that time... yeah yeah yeah time travel blah blah blah but it doesnt make much sense to do that. That is unless this is another standalone map like MotD and then a zombies finale comes in a 5th map pack

First look at possible new WW for MP4?
The Clay Bird replied to The Clay Bird's topic in Research & Development
that 2nd one is not related to BO2 that is the background for the Rezurrection Map pack from black ops 1. And it says Mauser, not master. its a hand gun -
it is very interesting.... if we do based on these pitcures assume that the campaign team is doing the majority of the legwork on this map, I think it could perhaps lend a glimmer of hope to a DLC5 zombies exclusive map pack available for separate purchase (not part of season pass) although I think its a longshot, there was something found in the callofduty.com code that references dlc5 or something of the like. the image does look like a Mauser design protoype pistol... given their propensity to add in new regular weapons (i.e. tommy gun, remington new model army) this could be something along those lines. They are definitely beginning to kick the marketing of MP4 in to gear though, and a full month before release

Are they bitten? (Tranzit 4)
The Clay Bird replied to AlphaOmega's topic in General Zombies Discussion
Correct. The zombie outbreak was caused by 115 radiation in the air before (or after) the missiles hit, which reanimated the dead cells in the people killed in the blast. 115 radiation also has an effect on the survivors of the blast, from memory loss to paranoia. And I'm with MMX, it seems like they are just there to show that the crew have been through numerous injuries during their journey. Agreed, Notice they did this on Black Ops 1 as well. some maps they were noticeably more ragged looking -
take a look. just got from Treyarch's twitter feed... also they have the MotD trailer up in youtube for some reason... possibly could have been taken months ago of course discuss...

Could the MP PaP Camo be DLC 4's As Well?
The Clay Bird replied to Flammenwerfer's topic in Research & Development
Die Rise has the same camo as TranZit, and looks nothing like this pseudo-WaW camo. You'd be correct in saying Der Riese, though. Yeah the PaP multiplayer camo is absolutely nothing like the tranzit/die rise/buried camo at all. Not even remotely close -
It was very fun the first few times as we were discovering things, using the WW for the first time, doing the EE... but after the first several plays, this one has lost a lot of its shine in my opinion. Just for black ops 2, i rank them: 1)Mob of the Dead 2)Die Rise 3)Buried 4)Nuketown so low can't rank) Tranzit I hope that the last map or maps have some serious replayability
-
No... It is absolutely not possible.

Mob's Not Gonna Be Forgotten
The Clay Bird replied to EvilHERONeos's topic in General Zombies Discussion
I agree with this. There is absolutely no indication that MotD has anything directly to do with the regular storyline. Maybe there are some parallel's such as the fixing the past/breaking the cycle. It is its own individual narrative though. This last map is definitely going to contain the tranzit 4, and they in my best estimation will have to do something to prevent Maxis from destroying the earth -
by .05 seconds. the difference is negligible and certainly hardly would affect zombies
-
this is the worst one. and playing with randoms you will still get people who are VERY adamant about this. like they will rage quit if you pick up max ammo's before round 10. jeeeez get a clue people

There has been some speculation in trayarch that the camp. will be working with the zombies team, But its not JUST the camp. team.... Trayarch wants the storyline to advance in a dramatic way, Which, no offence to the zombies team, Samuel Marelton, Misty, and Russman, have not supplied like Macnera, Nikolai, Robert Englund, tank, Castro, Sara M. Geller, The soldiers, Sal, Danny trejo, Finn, Takeo, the weasel, Samantha, JFK, Richtofen, Gersh, Brock and gary, brutus, Nixon, M. Rooker, Maxis, George A romero, Yuri, Shuster, Groph, and Billy Handsome have...... As well as any other characters of the zombies universe I have not listed.... The campaign team is simply there to make sure the zombie team doesn't screw up TOO badly and make rash choices like sending the O4 to venus... Or make more horrible characters.... Or making the next map take place in france in the 1900s.... Nah I disagree. I don't doubt that they have always collaborated with all teams to get ideas and such, but the fact that some people don't like the characters wont make any difference. they obviously went all in with the characters and voice actors, and the writing for them has been decent. not as good as black ops, but its tolerable. This map is definitely not going to be like Mob of the dead, although the success of mob of the dead has certainly influenced some nuances of zombies like the music in map, the custom HUD for each map, etc.

Jimmy was referring to the emp grenade for pausing zombies... -
