Could the MP PaP Camo be DLC 4's As Well?
The Clay Bird replied to Flammenwerfer's topic in Research & Development
No the multiplayer Pack a Punch camo is definitely fashioned after the World at War pack a punch. and it definitely follows that pattern. and for pete's sake it is Camo not Cameo. Camo is short for Camouflage. Cameo is a small role for an actor in a film -
DLC 4 is DEFINITELY not going to be made by the campaign team. that is asinine to think that. I honestly wouldnt rule out the possibility of at least returning to der reise for part of the map, possibly via teleporter or as part of an EE, but not just a full our remake. something akin to Nacht being in tranzit. We definitely will find out more about the beginnings of zombies I think, especially group 935

DLC 4 "mode" called Gateway? (FEAR TEDDY)
The Clay Bird replied to Electric Jesus's topic in General Zombies Discussion
haha yeah hopefully it will end with an X lol -
I really doubt that there is any sort of box like that in the other 2 maps. Would have been found by now with as many people as play zombies. Would be super cool, but I won't be holding my breath lol

No you are not mistaken... definitely group 935

CoD:Z's Official Persistent Upgrades List!
The Clay Bird replied to AlphaOmega's topic in General Zombies Discussion
Tom852 proved back in the day that the headshot multiplier is doubled (x2). So, with that and Double-Tap, your bullets are x4. yeah this is definitely the most useful, honestly the only one i really enjoy getting (besides flopper now since its so damn fun) but the headshot has allowed us to be able to use bullet weapons effectively much further into the game which makes it more fun imo -
CoD:Z's Official Persistent Upgrades List!
The Clay Bird replied to AlphaOmega's topic in General Zombies Discussion
the headshot/deadshot one does not look correct. it is gained by getting collateral headshots with one bullet. lost i believe by an entire wave of zombies (24) going by with no headshots. and it does not auto aim at all. it is not like the deadshot daiquiri perk, what it does is increases the headshot damage multiplier resulting in more powerful headshots -
Official Ranking System Discussion and Theories
The Clay Bird replied to way2g00d's topic in General Zombies Discussion
Atleast 400 kills per game. Example: dont buy quick revive and get to round 18 with approx 525 kills and somehow you die (your 1 down per game). That extra 125 kills will be what helps you rank up. Didnt make it to round 16?(approx 400 kills) ... you wont rank up. What i'm saying is for those with skull or knife ranks that have been playing for a while. And if you mostly play solo. Also, dont use quick revive. Ever. That means not picking up perk drops. that's not fun. (are you even serious?) and how bad has player to be, when he can't survive after 400 kills (round 16?)? you don't deserve max rank if you get it that way. you could just as well go to town, start on round 15 and survive to 20, then leave. same thing, but faster... if you would deserve shotgun rank, you wouldn't have to think that kind of things... and btw, you can get shotguns with only 100 kd, so people won't have to worry about downs if they have 400 kills, even if playing solo AND buying all quick revives. "Also, dont use quick revive. Ever. That means not picking up perk drops." yeah, don't! you would otherwise learn to play the game!!! and get shotgun rank... legit! You are trying to simplify it too much. It really is not as simple as "get 400 kills before you get downed every time and you will rank up." No you wont! I had at one time about an 85 kills/downs ratio and still had just skull. due to leaving my game on and continuously being put into games while I was at work from 8-5 i went from 85 to a 58 k/d. got it back up to around 67 and had a round 35 game on die rise and then a round 33 game on mob, and voila, knife! so reaching higher rounds consistantly is very important as well -
yes but also make it difficult to hit. Meaning places great premium on accuracy and rewards it handsomely, but the penalty for missing is high. i think this would be a awesome weapon to have in zombies I also would love to see the crossbow and awful lawton back for dlc 4. maybe add the tri bolt attachment to the PaP version? and maybe one of the other 2 yet unused LMG's and add a special effect of some sort to the PaP version.

Soooo. Who's ready to get this Pack-a-Punch camo tomorrow! 7
The Clay Bird replied to The Clay Bird's topic in Multiplayer
well after being a prestige master since like march or so, I was getting bored trying to get all the gold camos.... and so i used the fresh start O_O starting from scratch. goal is to be back at prestige master by the time COD Ghosts comes out. Probably won't happen because i dont play near as much as i did when the game came out. The PaP camo is super awesome, love some of the reticles in these packs as well, very practical -
I see it as the same as any other grief tactic. Throwing the meat at someone/ putting a trample steam on their down body/standing in a door way to block them from going into an area or escaping an area/shooting them to slow them down. This tactic is the same. How? Because its avoidable. You can still get the gun but its harder because you have to find a spot to get the gun. The only way to make it impossible is to have 2 players go down at once. And hey half the other team is down for 5000 points, il take that trade anyday. Its also the same as the tactic where you throw a grenade at the ground so they can't pick up weapons from the mystery box. A tactic that is very easy to fix if it was a glitch but it isn't. There is no way for me to pick up the grenade and throw it and get my gun so it is indeed similar to the method stated above. You are ignoring the fact that CDC player A being down in front of CIA player B should not have any relation to whether they can Pack-A-Punch. It's just nonsensical! Throwing the meat was programmed. Shooting them was programmed. Standing in front of small doorways is intended. Any glitch can be done "tactically". If there was a glitch where if they went down in front of you that it made you not be able to move, I'd bet there'd be teams with a designator "downer" to prevent any good players from having a chance. It doesn't make it any less of a glitch. I'm with BS on this one. it IS avoidable. if I see two guys in front of the PaP machine chillin with M&S or anything explosive, i dont PaP right then. i think it fits perfectly in with the concept of grief: Cause your opponent as much grief as possible. Does that mean something unfair may happen occasionally? absolutely! thats part of it. Does it infuriate me when it happens? Hell yes! lol i rage so hard and then I realize... brilliant! im experiencing grief right now! lol

Ending(s) I would like to see.

i'm assuming you meant Der Reise rather than Die Rise in the richtofen sanity pert right? pretty cool thoughts, I like the Idea of Maxis having the tables turned on him once he opens Agartha -
Ghost House Finally Figured out (I think.......)
The Clay Bird replied to TheBSZombie's topic in Buried
this is unrelated, but the thought stemmed from what was mentioned in OP about the friendly guy. if he is holding a zombie or what not, can the big guy ever get in back of the mansion and into the hedge maze? and if so has anyone tried feeding him candy at the Pack-a-Punch machine? any effect? just hadnt heard anyone mention this at all -
I don't think they "named" him, but rather in the patch notes they obviously had to refer to him so they chose a generic description. not a name. I think their intent was specifically that us as players get to choose what we call him

The Clay Bird replied to The Clay Bird's topic in Multiplayer
I have a bunch of spare ms points sitting around that i have nothing to spend them on, so ill probably DL them all. with bing rewards i get about 800 ms points free every month anyway so why not lol. also in the update, if you preordered COD Ghosts and have that camo, they added a calling card and 3 reticles as well so that will be pretty cool -
One thing I hope for in the final DLC
The Clay Bird replied to TheBSZombie's topic in General Zombies Discussion
Oh and another Idea I had for the final Easter Egg reward.... something totally original. This may not work because of size/system constraints. But how cool would it be if after you finish the Easter Egg, in addition to all perma perks, you get a random Wonder Weapon out of all the WW's we've seen in zombies. not buildable ones. so each player would get a random: Wunderwaffe DG-2, Thundergun, Winter's Howl, VR-11, Scavenger, Jg-babymaker, zap/wave gun, blundergat/acidgat, paralyzer. I think that would be soooooooo sweet, although rather unrealistic... eh I can dream can't i? -
One thing I hope for in the final DLC
The Clay Bird replied to TheBSZombie's topic in General Zombies Discussion
Being as it seems we are kind of reaching the climax story wise, I think this would be a great idea. Hell, a lot of people playing zombies on BO2 probably don't even know what the hellhounds are since they haven't been in a map since Kino. I would be ok with something new/different to though, its 6 to one half dozen to the other for me on this issue. -
a lot of people are complaining of the system freeze thing so i don't think its anything on your end something they need to fix. it is good to see the patched a lot of glitches on Buried... didn't take them forever this time like it did for die rise. As for the DSR, that is not the sniper that needed to be nerfed, its the damned SVU-AS that needs to be nerfed with some increased recoil and decreased fire rate. I only play hardcore, and the SVU is soooooo far over powered in hardcore that its a real joke.

You see if it was presented like that I would understand. Lately Iv seen people presenting it as this is literally the end of the quests and I disagree with that. I agree with you there. I definitely don't see the button in the courthouse as "THE END" its like the conclusion of this chapter in the zombies book. just offers more closure to the first 3 maps, and prefaces the 4th map imo

The UNanswered Questions of BO2 Zombies
The Clay Bird replied to Infected115's topic in General Zombies Discussion
If you look at the Die Rise loading screen, on the right side you see a tear, which is in the shape of a man's head and you can see part of Buried's loading screen. On Buried's loading screen, the tear [Which should now be on the left side] has been magicly repaired, along with the part we saw on DR's loading screen being lighter and having a panel above it. I think DBZ made a topic on it. E: Found it. viewtopic.php?f=152&t=33126 MOTD takes place after January 19th 1934. That is when all of them were dead. ok i understand what you meant now... just wasnt clear in original post. thanks for clearing that up -
i see your point, but "end game" is a pretty common phrase just meaning the result or outcome. in Mob of the Dead, yes the easter egg literally ends the game, but in the sense that people are using it pertaining to buried and the box in the courthouse, end game just refers to the end result or outcome of the story also: obviously not all of those pertain to this use of the phrase, but conclusion, wrap-up, consummation all agree with the "end game" in buried. meaning its basically summing up or concluding the "power the towers" phase of the zombies storyline
-
Just as a comment toward the effect of the side of the easter egg you have done on what the map is like or whether you play one map or another. Remember they simply cannot have the side quests determine the essential elements of the map and have it work. why? Because believe it or not, the MAJORITY of zombies players, not fanatics like us, but regular players do not and will not complete the easter eggs. Its a nice wish for us hardcore fans, but they cant pull something like that off without completely alienating a ton of potential zombies players. Its fun to wish that we could get 2 maps and the one that is unlocked is dependent on completing Rich or Maxis all the way through, but it just doesnt work in practice. That being said I am fully confidant that dlc 4 will be absolutely amazing. and I'm still not completely ruling out a dlc 5 offering, not covered by season pass, but as an extra dose of zombies with a new map and some classic ones... well i can dream anyway 8-)
