already confirmed that there will be two more map packs.... doesn't mean that one will be all zombies... as popular as Rezurrection was though I wouldn't put it completely out of the realm of possibility though

yep its a great gun. my friends i normally play with will grab this first and camp the area floor below the roof by the dual elevator shafts... just kind of take turns popping heads... now the gun severely needs to be nerfed in multiplayer IMO, albeit only in hardcore modes.. its just ridiculous lol

Voting will be on the welcome message, and will run from May 23rd to May 28th with the new winning camo/reticle sets to be available for purchase on May 29th A bit lackluster if you ask me, especially since many of us here were really hoping for PaP camo, but perhaps that may be down the line. I think that would be a great item to release along side the zombies finale of map pack 4

I have loved the little bit of league play i have tried, however my friends and I strongly prefer hardcore, so off topic I REALLY would love to see a hardcore league.

In the past they had been doing zombies clan challenges weekly? Wasn't aware they had stopped. As far as in game benefit, there really is none, but its at least a way to check your stats and the leaderboards on the go. Perhaps in 2014, the assumed next treyarch produced cod game will build on the elite features zombie wise.

Seems like the number of people sporting under-barrel grenade launchers has exponentially increased since the first few months the game was out. anyone else notice the same? encountered a clan last night that just used an inordinate amount of nubetoob shells so much so we all had to equip 2 trophy systems to even have a chance. I might make this a poll... yes in fact i will. Would you like the game better if they completely removed the option for an under barrel grenade launcher attachment?

Still is absolutely useless for me. There hasn't been any mention of knifing adjustments in any of the game update logs. I think its coincidence that you are seeing better results. i've luckily broken the habit for the most part

No I'm not saying that these are the ray gun and sliquifier. There are 4 different pictures in this truck which repeat, one of these pictures is the ray gun, one is the sliquifier and the other 2 are the ones in the image. Tomorrow ill happily provide images of the ray gun and sliquifier pictures but its getting late so... ah I gotcha that wasn't real clear in the original post. I'll have to snoop around in there and see what i can find. Not surprising because Firing Range also had a lot of little zombies allusions and EE's

Cool theory, but unfortunately Jimmy Z has clearly explained that the tallies indicate "Dedication" aka how often you play, and the rank emblem indicates skill. of course he also says its a recent games determination which i believe to be a load of BS so who knows really lol :lol:

I'm not seeing it. first off looks like both sections repeat and show the same thing. and they don't resemble the sliquifier or ray gun imo...

mind elaborating on "game-breaking functionality changes? only thing you could possibly be referencing is afterlife... and it doesnt break the game, the game functions the exact same way

The Zombies team developing it is just as much speculation in this scenario. Everything points towards the single player team developing with input from the zombies team. well put Liam... either way, if they did collaborate for this map which it appears that they did, I would love to see them do this some more going forward

The reason I didn't put Diner and Cell Block on the list is because you can only play Grief Mode and Turned on them, which in my opinion if it doesn't have Survival Mode on it, I don't think I should count it. you did it right, however I don't even think town and farm should be on there, because they are already in green run.if town is your favorite map, then green run by default is your favorite map. no point in separating them. and besides if that is your favorite map, then you obviously haven't played any other maps lol also @godofwarNG ; that's fine if der reise is your favorite, but to declare that somebody isnt a true zombies fan because a map that came out 4 years ago isnt their favorite isnt fair. And you're also reserving to yourself that there never will be a map as good as der reise, which if you give the others a FAIR chance, there are already a few others on par with der reise. I expect 2 absolutely epic maps to close out black ops 2. I think Green Run and Die Rise were essentially test maps to see how we would respond to some different ideas, and i think they will use that feedback to really nail the remaining maps

Like others have said, be 100% sure that the player who is Richtofen has done both the Call of the Dead AND Shangri-la Easter Eggs. So if, say, you did them but not him, then you'd have to be Richtofen. I've encountered this problem several times before people told me about the exact player information. nah, it doesn't matter if the specific player who is richtofen has done them. I've done it many times where I was the only one in party to have done either EE, and I wasn't Rich, but the person who was still spawned in with the stone and rod something else must have been funky...

Tough... I still will hop on with my GF and play der reise to this day... even 4+ years later. All 4 dlc maps from black ops were great but if i had to choose one i would say moon. and Mob of the dead and die rise are both great maps i think after careful consideration i am going to go with Moon just barely edging out der reise because of its replayability with NML and a rewarded EE. worst map from each game : WaW: shi no numa ; Black Ops: Kino der Toten; Black ops 2: Green Run and all of its incarnations

sounds like fun, maybe something they could add to custom game modes after all the dlc is out... would make it too easy though. as long as it was for custom so no leaderboards, and if they took it out of stats completely i think it would be a good option and time killer :)

From everything I have read, the zombies team presented an outline of the map basically to the campaign team, and then the campaign team took it from there...

As much as everybody likes to think that every minute detail in zombies is story related and important, I still believe this fun spooky easter egg is only that: and easter egg. nothing more nothing less. fun to find and give you a good fright. :o

I think they could do some really interesting things with the KSG especially with the pack a punch version. don't see why they couldn't replace our 80's style FAL with the new one, i think that would be cool. And a cool idea perhaps would be slightly LESS powerful "wonder weapons" but like several different kinds for the map. Like for instance, a main WW that is one per team that is very powerful, but then 3-4 other mid-high level weapons better than a normal weapon of that class but not WW type power. and have like one AR, one Sniper type, one shotgun type, and one special type (like crossbow orspecial grenade) idk just for varierty sake. I think that could help curb the box spamming and crybaby's who don't get the one WW on the map. Wish that wasn't a problem but as long as parents are buying the game for preteens and children, its going to be there, and having more toys to entertain people might help for a more enjoyable experience? just brainstorming :)

was it system link? did you have the wire? were the plates in place? all things that would cause the vril device to not be accepted. make sure you have the order of events correct because that definitely makes a difference. otherwise only thing i can think of is possibly not being an xbox live game and a local game instead (sys link)

right as long as at least one person in the party has done the COTD easter egg and one person has done the shangri la easter egg (or of course one person having both is acceptable) then you can do the big bang EE on moon. as far as solo or co-op for call of the dead, i really don't remember. i had done both by the time even shangri la came out so i dont remember much of the discussion

welp since I'm already a prestige master, the 2x XP doesnt help me at all unfortunately, however since my friends were on often because of the occasion, i did get a chance to make some progress toward weapon camos. really struggling with the bloodthirsties on the shotguns and snipers, mainly because i have very little patience. oh well, im relatively close on all the launchers and pistols i just need the executioner and kap-40 for diamond so i guess thats what ill work on. like Rissole said though, 2x weapon xp is more valuable to me at this point
