On one hand I agree, but on the other hand, I feel that i like adding things several months after release to give incentive to go back and play the maps again. much like adding mule kick to all maps in blops 1 I really like that they are keeping that concept going

New display for purchasing guns in game?
The Clay Bird replied to The Clay Bird's topic in General Zombies Discussion
yeah, i think its to balance with the MP5... if they're both 1000 the mp5 is better value. The B23R is a little less valuable than the mp5 so i think it's fair that the price be slightly lower. -
although my personal opinion on the theroies is that it is Clark, i prefer to just think of the thief as:

Am I the only one not taking crazy pills here? I again relate the MP reimaginings of Studio/Firing Range and Summit/whatever the new one is called. People love those maps. The fact that they can totally Re-dress the thing with a new design and skin and its still a popular map proves that whats on the outside means nothing, and whats on the inside counts. All we know about Buried is whats on the outside. We know almost nothing about the inside. I have high hopes that this will be one of my favorite maps of all time, and i fear for those of you who for whatever reason are against a wild west theme, will let that preconceived notion ruin the whole experience for you... surely i'm not the only one....

I've heard conflicting reports, but it may indeed be gone until 7/2 I got it on round 1 spinning the box in town survival. very first spin. will try to upload the vid later today after work. this was before i got the "game settings have changed" message indicating the hot fix though

looks like the first one landed underneath the ramp which would be "outside the playable area" just like you get a laugh when you throw a gersch or mondkey outside the map anywhere else. no secret i dont think sorry...

Hey all, As we get closer to the release of Buried on XBox 360, some hints given by the devs as well as some of the proverbial "writing on the wall" indicates we will be needing to make some choices or perhaps even choose a side going forward in our remaining EE hunts for Buried and whatever lies ahead in DLC 4. I created this thread in anticipation of this for a couple of reasons. A) because the teammate finder section just does not generate any traffic whatsoever and i know there are many of us, myself included, that haven't completed the EE's for Tranzit and/or Die Rise. So I wanted to provide a link to the EE help section of the teammate finder for future reference for everybody : viewtopic.php?f=13&t=32520&p=309451#p309451 as well as to use this thread as a temporary teammate finder for those of us wishing to complete these eggs prior to Buried's release. I'll delete/ask for movement of this thread once it has served its purpose. For me, I should be available most of the weekend. so Time: anytime from 6 PM CST 6/28/13 to 10 PM 6/30/13 System: XBOX 360 Map: Tranzit and Die Rise Players needed: anywhere between 1-3 depending on the time. gamer tag is in my profile and sig feel free to add/invite just mention CoDz in a message if so happy hunting yall

Those of you stating "I'm really disappointed with this map..." HAVE YOU PLAYED IT YET? IF SO HOW?? yes i'm calling ya'll out for claiming you don't like a map without even having played it. That's like assuming that had Studio been released first, people wouldnt have liked it enough to warrant remaking it in a future game. the only difference is cosmetics. Wait until the actual map comes out and your get to see how it PLAYS and the game play is and how the STORY progresses, before any opinions are formed. Just because a couple of the zombies are wearing top hats or cowboy hats doesnt mean the map itself won't be great. open your minds people. If you let a cowboy hat wearing zombie model cause you to go into the map with a closed mind and preconceived notion of it sucking, you probably won't like it. I encourage everybody to get out of their own way when playing the map and jsut take it in, THEN formulate your opinion /rant

hmmm.. I'm betting you'll understand better after the map actually is released where it fits...

New persistent upgrade 6/28/13
The Clay Bird replied to MegaAfroMan's topic in General Zombies Discussion
Also haven't tested to confirm, but LiamFTWinter mentioned something about it making fire sales last longer... just some more food for thought as we explore it -
It does appear that it is still available, just with much less probability since the hotfix? I don't see how they could limit it to season pass holders.... doesnt seem possible. seems like a fantastic marketing ploy to me to allow players to try it. might convince somebody who otherwise wouldn't have bought the map pack to actually purchase it...

New persistent upgrade 6/28/13
The Clay Bird replied to MegaAfroMan's topic in General Zombies Discussion
There is already a thread on this somewhere. basically its been hypothesized that the flash results from you taking a sub-par weapon out of the box (i.e. RPG, DSR-50, SMR, Five-Seven etc.) and once the box moves, the box will have a teady bear on top of it, and it is subsequently hypothesized that while the box is in that location with the teddy bear over it, the probability for good weapons to come out of the box is increased. Not sure if there is any definitive proof yet, but thats the most common thing i've seen. as fas as losing the perk, i believe it is lost through the box changing locations again -
New display for purchasing guns in game?
The Clay Bird replied to The Clay Bird's topic in General Zombies Discussion
Also, if in fact the temporary allowing of the Ray gun markk 2 in the box was intentional, i dont like that they patched it later today. how can you give us a taste and then take it away! lol. oh well i guess 5 days isnt bad -

here is a little tip for you and any other xbox 360 playing members who don't like to buy the packs because they cost too much. Bing rewards. if you do 30 searches a day on bing it gets you 15 reward points. you can redeem 500 reward points for a 400 MS point code. there are other ways to get bonus points too, but assuming you only do your daily searches 500/15= 33.33 round up to 34 days. now there were 77 days between dlc 1 and dlc 2. and it takes 102 days to get the 1200 ms points that each map pack costs. so basically, if you are diligent with your searching (takes 10 minutes a day tops) you can get each pack for free, within a month of its release. PRO TIP OF THE DAY! ) i don't think this is true at all. yes zombies is more popular than ever and has become much more than a minigame, but multiplayer is still king of call of duty. if MOST people only got dlc because of zombies, they would a) scrap multiplayer and make only zombies and activision would lobby hard to give infinity ward zombies rights as well. Even though HERE at CODZ most of us may buy the pack for zombeis mainly, thats just not true overall

When do you think Moon/Nuketown occurs? (Poll)
The Clay Bird replied to Kar98DG's topic in General Zombies Discussion
this is the problem with having one game set in the 60's-80's in the cold war and then the next game take place in the near future. While it works for the single player story, zombies has some disconnect where they have to take some liberties. doesn't really make sense that a sky scraper destroyed in the 60's even still standing in 2025. but the new crew is supposedly from that time. what i'm concluding here is that Moon did still occur in the 60's like we believed prior to BO2, and there are some fallacies with the time frames to make the near future setting of BO2 work -
Down/Death Co-op Point Loss - SOLVED!
The Clay Bird replied to ETEl2NAL407's topic in General Zombies Discussion
Sorry, I wasn't aware this had been covered. I looked and couldn't find anything, but yes...I performed this research on BO:2. I will also research this for BO:1 and see if it's different. well i went and looked for it after i posted this and couldn't find it... some of the forum reorganization has made some of those threads disappear it seems lol
