The emblems are permanent but the tallies (blue eyes at 5 tallies) are not. It seems once you gain an emblem you can't lose it! if that is the case, then that means the blue eyes are NOT part of the rank and something else entirely, because certainly many of us have had skull with blue eyes, and then logged in again and not had the blue eyes...

As I said I lost my connection before I could try the other door, I too believe that there is something we are missing. I will try knifing both doors simultaneously, using turbines, etc Even the locks on those doors look odd even out of place. i noticed this for sure... looks like the door handle/lock mechanism is "interactable" if you will, and it certainly doesnt look like most of the other door handles

Treyarch needs to rename their multiplayer section.

what did you not like about BO 1 mp? it is my favorite. MW 3 was really really awful. BO 2 so far is leaps and bounds better than mw3 -
Petition To get Ranking System Info from Treyarch.
The Clay Bird replied to Jeager1999's topic in TranZit
i agree, kinda. kinda because the game has now been out almost a month, and literally no headway has been made on "discovering" how this abstract ranking system works. And who's fault is that? People who have just given and are now so dedicated to this surrender that they have made/are signing petition for Treyarch to do our job for us. well i can't speak for everybody, but I'm a grown-up with a full time job and family and responsibilities... pardon me for not having endless hours to try and decipher this quizzical system of bones and skulls and hashmarks lol -

i agree, kinda. kinda because the game has now been out almost a month, and literally no headway has been made on "discovering" how this abstract ranking system works. how frustrating would MP be if you started at a lvl 35, played a game and had a KDR of 2.25 and then went to a lvl 31; then you didnt play for 3 days and you log back on and you're a 40. it's the same situation, and although i realize zombies is supposed to be "shrouded in mystery" you'd think there would be some sort of method to the ranking madness, and you'd think at least somebody would have made some sort of a discovery at this point. how long do we nave to wait? 6 months? 1 year? at what point does treyarch finally give up the ghost? -

John Hancock really just some sort of solid evidence of what affects your rank would be great -
Is anyone else dissapointed in the TEDIOUS nature of TRANZIT
The Clay Bird replied to sic789HUMP's topic in TranZit
yes it is massive, but in all reality it's not much bigger than moon or call of the dead as fall as useful map space is concerned. the fog is really just tedious in between areas between where you actually want to be. I agree the concept is very ambitious and different than anything before, but the execution of it just didn't do it for me. I would prefer the map be smaller all together, but have more usable space. I really do hope they take a small step back towards the classic zombies maps with the DLC. -
"Permanent" earnables... no longer permanent?! (proof)
The Clay Bird replied to Megaton A's topic in TranZit
yep i noticed this the other day, was playing a tranzit game with randoms, and i still had the headshot, and quick revive, but my boards were back to wood. this game is pretyy bonkers, its frustrating just to not know how shit works -
Treyarch needs to rename their multiplayer section.
The Clay Bird replied to Tridalo's topic in Multiplayer
if you don't like the hitmarkers, then I suggest you try the hardcore game modes. My friends and I have played mostly hardcore modes since MW2, and it's much less frustrating in my opinion. It also makes the game more interesting because you don't have to be using an SMG or sniper to have success. Only downside is the no HUD, but it doesnt bother me at all. Just a suggestion ! :) -
this is the key issue. if you can just damage zombies then travel, and that lessens the number of zombies left in the round, that is problematic, but if it just adds to your kill count for leaderboards, well thats just a longer more painstaking way of killing them lol
-
so far just the SWAT Assault rifle and the M8a1 or whatever the 4 round burst AR. loved how they did the camos this time around, very cool

i voted 28... looks about my age.. lol and why does Marlton hate Russman so much.... what a racist! ;)

didnt get any responses in the other thread i posted this in, but this was peculiar as i was playing next to the box location in the town, the door there had a very strange look/glow to it as if you could interact with it... significance?
-
in town, next to where the double tap normally is in grief, there is a door, that has a very strange lookk to it, as if it is a moveable part or something... anybody else seen this?

Would you stop insulting me based on the few examples I used (not even all of them) to help prove my point? The only people who care about Mule Kick and Deadshot being gone are the people who used them, and you just have to face the fact that you're in the minority, and thus, will be put lower on the priority list. Ask ANYONE online. Seriously. Go online, find as many people as you can, and ask how many people care that DS/MK are gone or if they used them all that often. "Meh, sometimes" or "If I'm just playing around" and the like aren't valid yesses either. You'd be surprised at how bad this game is for high rounds without Mule Kick. You know how awesome Mule Kick would be on Survival? High rounds might actually be... FUN. Instead of this endless monotony. Mule Kick is needed on maps without power guns. Mule Kick would be #1 priority on these maps, behind Jug and Revive, if it were in there. Deadshot is pretty 'meh'. It would help, but I'm pretty sure you can get permanent Deadshot anyways, so it doesn't really matter. But Mule Kick... well, I'd rather have Mule Kick than Flopper on these maps, tbh. Jussayin. there's at least 3 people right there, it's pretty obvious that it's a bit more popular than you're giving it credit for

....How? By round 40 you're either using the wonder weapon or traps. Any other gun is really just for getting more points. And if you're so insistent on using regular guns, what does a 3rd gun do that purchasing ammo off the wall or hitting the box then PaP'ing doesn't? wonder weapon + m&s/raygun + wall gun for points farming it helps a lot at this point its pretty obvious that your opinion won't be swayed so i think its safe to just say agree to disagree at this point

NukeTown Zombie Easter Egg Discussion (not the song)
The Clay Bird replied to BOD3AN's topic in Nuketown
as resourceful as the zombies community is, I feel like if there was a complex side quest type EE on nuketown, that at least some sort of a beginning or series of steps would have been found by now ya know 9 days after release date. unless treyarch has devoted all their time and efforts this time around to ensuring that we don't find the eggs lol -
Question about leaderboards, if anyone knows...
The Clay Bird replied to CheezyWeezle's topic in General Zombies Discussion
well from everything I can tell, if the game starts and one player quits or is disconnected then the game will not count toward the leaderboard. to address the second question, once the game has started nobody new would be able to join in a public match, so that wouldnt be anything that is even possible -

Richoften qoute in nuketown was said in moon!
The Clay Bird replied to Wingsofwar50's topic in TranZit
yes, there are multiple quotes from the moon EE that will play as you play Nuketown zombies indicating that they are happening simultaneously -
The parallel universe theory was never proven, no, however neither has going back in time. A quote from Richtofen while picking up a negative powerup on Moon makes me believe the idea of parallel universes in the game. Nothing happened, at least in this reality." I'm having a hard time understanding why this ruins the parallel universe theory. Just because he expected to be teleported into an open part of the map but was behind a door instead has no bearing on whether or not we are in a single universe. Teleportation is teleportation, no matter where you end up. He had to know the parallel universe was there and even then he had to know where the golden rod would be exactly in that parallel universe at that moment in time. That is not technically possible to know where something will be in a parallel universe at a given time unless you have been there before and then there remains the factor of ensuring you are transported to that exact parallel universe and not another which would be completely different. I understand where you are coming from, but the premise behind the parallel universe theory is not that each universe is drastically different. so the argument that in a parallel universe there would be noway for Edward to be sure the golden rod was there only makes sense if there was some activity in the past of that specific universe to cause it not to be there. again i think Tac makes a great point in that yes the parallel universes theory has not been prove, but neither has time travel and zombies and element 115 and basically everything else in zombies. It is however a great theory that would create the possibility of many of the events in nazi zombies. and as always we say that these are indeed "theories" and we are not trying to state any of this as absolute fact :)

Any thoughts about possibly the Avogadro having more to do with the EE than meets the eye? any connections between the name "Avogadro" in relation to the chemistry aspect and other tasks we may complete involving that? just brainstorming here

new Jimmy Z tweet: "Zeros may be on the way out!" soooo yeah that means nothing to me lol

True. although when trying to learn how to be better at zombies by watching the best, monkey see monkey do. 4 Perks 4 Perk Limit Would most likely result in negative backlash. What they had was a good setup. Why remove any of these perks when each had an effective use and none was particularly disliked. Getting all your equipment back after you die. Totally impractical. There is no harm, however, it's like taking a bad/useless/never used move out of a character's movelist in a fighting game. It frees up space for other stuff, and only a tiny % of people will actually care that it's gone. that's the problem... great they freed up space for other stuff, too bad they didnt make any other stuff to use the space with. those 2 perks definitely would not take up enough disc space to drastically increase what other features they could add to the game. and tombstone is kind of fun and can be useful if you can survive long enough to go retrieve your stuff, but again it kind of goes against the trend they seem to have gone for of making the game harder. one major obstacle to making high rounds in co-op was if somebody did bleed out, getting them back to a position where they could be beneficial to the team... anyway i really am curious i may make a thread with a poll, because i think you are drastically underestimating the number of people who used mule kick especially but even deadshot. deadshot plus ak74u equals headshot city. PaP it and it is extremely useful even into the 30's

haha i thought this too the first time i played! lol
