Can't hear any voices throughout game -- solo

this would happen to me anytime i was playing a solo game and i got disconnected from XBL at some point during the game. it sucks and i wasnt ever able to find a fix for it, i just got better internet and now i dont ever get disconnected anymore. sorry for no solution, but that is the reason why -
that song is really just a different arrangement of a pretty common "circus-y" or "childlike" theme. i thought it was kind of funny that they did change the song when sam and richtofen switch places just like the voices. i like the original one better tho..

got to 35 the other day with my 2 other regular players, and it was pretty grueling. between one guy trying to cook ribs inbetween rounds, me having to leave for a while to take a friend to pick up his car, and then finally after 34 was over, the one dudes ribs were done and his wife was coming home for dinner so he had to quit, so it was just 2 of us for 35. lol we were so tired by that point we kinda threw in the towel. pretty fun run though, doubt we'll have the time to make another good run on this map though since it took about 6.5-7 hours total

from what i've seen you only have the vril device on xbox live matches. not solo or split screen or even system link i believe :?

wall guns still have the WaW PaP camo, box guns have the black ops camo. simple as that. did you have world at war? i can see being a little surprised by it if you didnt have the original versions of the maps ;) -

don't know about the wire, but dont waste your time trying to do it solo, because you don't spawn with the golden rod/vril generator so the step right after the wire is impossible ;)

yeah lol keep in mind the group of people, although the most reputable names in zombies, were in fact holding a troll head sign during the panel. more than likely just fucking with us. even with just 2 people, a game to 100 would last literally days. with no pause feature it would be almost impossible for anyone with a life to do this. possibly solo but i imagine this was a troll Zielinski likes to troll ;)

Those darn tubes are a pain! One is alright, but four just makes me mad.. lol. We ended up splitting it up between two rounds. The front tubes first, then the back. We also found that the Astronaut counts if you kill him close enough, and the Nuke counts (the zombies still have to be close when you get it), as well as Gersch. It actually took less time with a Gersch.. just throw that baby right by a tube and let it do all the work, haha. yeah unfortuneately the rest of us only had QEDs the guy that went down had the gerschs. tried throwing my qeds for the random revive but no luck. I hate the QEDs

it has only happened to us once, and like the OP, it happened after we had hacked the PaP to give us some time to upgrade guns. we got back and should have had 3-4 zombies respawn, but the round counter never came and neither did the zombies :(

our troubles last night reaffirmed my thinking of the moon EE being the most frustrating. we got all the way to the part where we are filling up the 4 tubes with the zombie souls, so we put myself and my friend (the 2 of us who are the most experienced with zombs) in the pyramid room and the other 2 guys in the biodome, and everything is going just fine, i had max wave gun, mustang and sally, and ak74fu2, and other guy has similar weapons, and as we are about 2/3 through filling up the tubes, the astronaut spawns directly behind the other guy taking his juggernog and teleporting him away, i evacuate and try and circle the zombies up, and the other 2 guys went down trying to revive him so it was just me, and i ended up dying a few minutes later. poof, 3 hours down the tube lol

after 7-8 minutes of walking around we just decided to take our masks off outside to die it credited us on the leaderboards with 33, which was our last completed round. wish we would have thought of looking for a nuke in the biodome, that might have saved us

Maxis I believe had better intentions than Richtofen, so I have to go with Richtofen, although it seems Sam has revenge on the brain now so I say Richtofen now, maybe Sam after the story assumingly proceeds

At that point I'm sure you would find it if you look to the right of the MPL on the side of the column that the MPL is by. I lost it there the first time as well It gets lost in tunnel 11 also I would advise you watch a video cuz that one is really hard to explain

Just finished full Easter egg and went to round 26 with ransoms from xbl! Lol. best I've ever gotten with randoms... Can't wait to make a good run at it with my crew :edit: oh yeah, major fail on this map is to go to area 51, while tunnel 6 and 11 are breached, wihtout the hacker. our 26 would have been much better but we got stuck in the receiving area and that shit is no good let me tell ya

so i haven't had a chance to test it out in black ops, does the wunderwaffe DG-3 JZ max out at 10 kills per shot, or does it also do 24 in black ops? that sucks if they capped it at 10 even upgraded... :/

is the general consensus that the shangri la EE is really that hard? once we did it once or twice we really got the hang of it, and in between rounds we can usually finish the whole thing in 20-30 minutes max. wure its a little frustrating to have to do it 4 times, but its not that bad. we just do the steps while the other players who need to are hitting the box, PaP'ing etc.

You even said why there isn't a jingle. What's the point of making a jingle if there's no air to hear it. That would be like building a building then tearing it down when you have more important things to do. Basically it would be a waste of time when you could make the map better. Don't worry though on CoD 9 it will probably get a jingle. here's where that argument is invalid. if you depressurize any of the lab areas or tunnels or biodome etc, the perk machines in there still play their jingle even though it is now in a vacuum. also in a tru vacuum they wouldnt be able to hear the gun fire even in a muffled state. the only sounds when exposed to the vacuum of space should be the characters voices through your space helmet. its just curious that they didnt make one because that has been kind of the staple of each new perk would be a new jingle for it. oh well

im pissed how could they not have a jingle for mule kick when they have a jingle for all 7 other perks. this is deplorable. even tho sound cant travel in space and the perk machine is outside, that is a lazy excuse not to write a jingle for it. RAGEEE!!! :evil:

sorry for the double post, but to solidify my argument of why moon is second behind shangri-la, is that i just played a solo round to try and get the slumber party goin solo, played until round 21 and the goddamn excavators will not fucking breach tunnel 6 and jesus that is fucking frustrating. played for almost 2 hours without it breaching and who knows how much longer it would have taken...... should have done something else with that step... :facepalm:
