  1. How about it's completely meaningless, and contributes nothing to the story, and thus is not important? Telling us to fear whatever doesn't mean anything, and is most likely a coincidence anyways. Just get off it. Sorry if I came off as mean sounding, but truly the idea was always pretty stupid, and since Ruva isn't really related to anything (you can type it in google and all you'll get is jibberish and a branding company or something) there really is no reason to discuss it.
  2. They said they had two era specific weapons, so that leaves out the majority of WWI weaponry. We ARE getting at least one WWII gun, however: the MP40. Frankly, I doubt we'd get anymore rifles, unless they replace the olympia as a starting weapon. WWI really doesn't have a whole lot of good zombie killing weapons otherwise. I could see the M1927 coming back as well, or the regular thompson. Nothing else really fits unless they really want to go the distance and bring back WaW favorites.
  3. it's riese, not reise. That is an entirely different word. We also knew the real world explanation for why it was called that: because the whole complex of project riese was gigantic, spanning for miles underground (or something like that). That is why no one ever bothered to wonder.
  4. The problem with these "simple" maps is that since we've played the old ones so many times that these new clones per say get boring. Keeping simple isn't always good. Look at CoD in general. Same thing every year. After about 4 years, I'm so freakin bored of it because there isn't anything to it. If zombies stayed simple I'd be done with it, too. Complexity makes it fun, otherwise it just gets to be a grind. You've got to let go, chances are if you started in BO2 with zombies and went to WaW, you'd be bored of it in a second.
  5. But they never were testing super soldiers. There hsn't ever been anything to base that off of. It was just kind of assumed, but likely it was just to test 115 on humans. Why on those guys, we will never know. Nacht was officially confirmed as the second in one of the battle reports or something for WaW I believe. Der Riese couldn't have ever been the first, seeing as how it was still in operation when verruckt was going on.
  6. 1: Either Satan, or no one at all. 2: Actually, Verruckt was an outbreak before Der Riese, so you're wrong there. They also say Nacht is the second outbreak, meaning origins is the first. Also, outbreaks did not spread until richtofen took control. They're usually confined. This whole aspect has not been mentioned, because we've never known when, where, or how 115 was discovered. There really aren't any holes here because nothing has been brought up about it. 3: First of all, who said they were testing super soldiers? They were testing these people with 115 most likely, doesn't mean they were creating super soldiers. This also doesn't mean that they were captured at Origins. What would be the purpose of that? The REAL question is why richtofen doesn't mention them all by name if he knew them, and why he went to capture them later on.
  7. Yes, because even after origins there will still be so many things left unanswered. Everything has to end eventually, but that ending should resolve everything. Honestly, the next Call of Duty I buy will be for zombies and zombies alone, because zombies is the only thing that grows and gets better and better.
  8. Really questioning why people still love Der Riese so much. Wasn't that much fun, and there have been way better maps since with way more stuff. As for my favorite... that's a difficult decision because I haven't really played zombies actively in awhile. I'll go with Call of the Dead or Die Rise because I always seem to have fun on those no matter what. Unless I fall off a building...
  9. Did you insert all of the navcards? If not, do that.
  10. Honestly, I don't think he would make everyone his slaves. That's probably too boring to him. Better to have a fighting chance. Even if everyone was a slave, there is always still a chance.
  11. I think in the end the other entity (I guess satan?) will screw Maxis/Richtofen over just so we have a singular result in the story. I believe that we will definitely have the O4 back next map, given how Samantha was pretty the only real piece left unresolved. BTW, the physical body Maxis gave Richtofen was a zombie with blue eyes which spawns occasionally after the egg.
  12. We all need to just bury the hatchet anyways. It's more the action that is evil anyways; however, given just the scale of the action, and his past deeds, I think it is important to note that Maxis is very far from good. I think it's still fair to call him an antagonist, because he is screwing everyone over in that sense.
  13. Ending? Hell no. Looks like we're just getting started. Besides, look at how much is unanswered. Zombies would be the Lost of video games.
  14. It's not really a made up thing as you say, however there are generally things that pretty much all of civilized society can agree are evil. Killing is the biggest of them, especially for selfish reasons. Also, the cookie part is bullshit, the only one who is really hurt there is the kid who ate way too much of that. BTW, did you read the whole part about him being an antagonist, which is what we basically all mean? It seemed like you kinda skipped out on that...
  15. Richtofen, because he isn't going to screw everyone over. Plus, how can you not love his antics?
  16. Dude, being selfish IS evil. Greed is the root of so much of it in the world. Yes he want's to save his child. I'm sure many would do that. That doesn't make him any less evil. He was willing to destroy everything to get what he wanted. Sure, he probably doesn't want to actually destroy the world, but this doesn't change anything. If you really won't back down from this, then let's change the word from evil to antagonistic. I don't believe you can deny that, and that is basically what everyone means when they say evil. Antagonists aren't always evil, they just go against everyone else. Also, plus one to Rissole on the whole keep fighting thing.
  17. No prob, I was just about to make a thread about this myself, but you beat me to it. I'm seriously wondering why this hasn't been discussed before... it's kind of important after all.
  18. Got a video demonstrating this http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=fI9R3yP_L0s It's later on in the video, just keep watching everyone. At least Richtofen isn't dead.
  19. Apparently the physical form Maxis bound Richtofen to was actually a random zombie with blue eyes (the color of all others change when maxis is in charge). In no way can I confirm this as I have PS3, and in fact I learned this from the CoD wiki which is known to have BS. If this is true.... Richtofen is gone on Maxis's side of things. That.... saddens me. Someone needs to find out this quickly.
  20. They just go back. Really, it doesn't matter anyways. All we know is they do because it's required to finish the egg. It makes as much sense as the characters walking from China to Africa. There's something missing, but in the end it doesn't really matter.
  21. I think you need all of one, so pick a side and redo it on one map. Shouldn't be a problem then.
  22. Then in seeing that, I feel like the N4's story is done, at least for now. Nothing left for them to actually do in the main story. I seriously, seriously doubt that treyarch would kill em off now, but more is pointing toward the O4 coming back next DLC
  23. Die rise navcard goes to buried, does it not? From what I've heard, it does. It's a cycle, I mean why would they go out of order with this then?
  24. Actually pretty sure the Navcard goes back to tranzit.... but otherwise, yeah
  25. What we all need to do is listen to the audio again, because it is pretty damn clear from the audio that he wasn't trying to "save" humanity by killing them, but only opening agartha to be reunited with samantha. As he says, he is regretful that the planet and it's people won't survive as a result of finding Agartha. What this adds up to is that he is in fact selfish, even if he does have guilt. He might not consider himself evil, but sacrificing the planet for your daughter is evil (though perfectly understandable). It's greed. One of the seven deadly sins for godsake. By that standard it is completely evil. Maybe some people just have a weird perception of morals...
