Those things are always pulled down by Activision, real or not. Really, you need to wait for an announcement to make an accurate judgement. It can be fun, but it really doesn't have a whole lot of fun. Most of it is just really lame and boring IMO.

But there is no zombie story mode, and if there was it would suck, just like Left 4 Dead. (If you're referring to the leaked image, that was pretty much proven fake. Otherwise, give me some proof).

You don't know anything about 8 players, so you can't exactly say you don't have to have 8 players. I'm assuming 8 players is for different game modes, technically some of those might require 6 people. Plus, Easter eggs. Think about that, if 8 people were needed for that... I'm not saying it's a bad idea or anything, just sayin. But still, you could have posted in THIS thread which also tells people that people shouldn't complain about 8 people. It was literally at the bottom of the first page.

It was an image of the "menu," but as it turns out it was a leak not confirmed by treyarch, so at this point what those people are saying is false.

Oh. Sorry. But they DID talk to PS Magazine, so it is unlikely that it was leaked entirely by accident. No, the pic was leaked. The article was not. That is what I'm referring to.

From what I understand, the 8 player thing might only be for other modes. I could be wrong, though.

No confirmation, only speculation It HAS been actually. here But it's not the 8 players I'm worried about. It's the rumor of story mode. I actually think 8 players could potentially be very fun. Doesn't have to be the standard survival mode either, that may stick to 4 people.

Thing is, the pics were found in another article. Leaked pics. I don't buy this one, I'm gonna wait for a confirmation from Treyarch.

What I don't understand is how ''Story'' is a bad thing? It just means a zombies campaign, it's what most people wanted so treyarch delivered, it's not like it's detracting from the main multiplayer gamemode or ruining it at all, js. Have you ever played Left 4 Dead? Long story short: It sucks, especially compared to zombies in CoD. Not all that many people wanted it. BUT, I just found out the image might be faked. I'm not sure if this is legit or not... but here Oh god.... I mean, 8 players confirmed. That's alright, but what worries me is in the pic it says story... treyarch better not do it. Seriously, that kinda crap does not belong. I like the EE method much more. Not sure if this is 100% true, because I found it on CoD wiki, but it's a possibility. EDIT: here is the official site for it. Looks like we'll get more info May 15th.

The point is so it can handle more things at once. Again, this does not mean 8 players (which would be a nightmare even if it wasn't the standard mode). I'm not ruling it out, but I don't think that this all means 8 people.

An article said that the capacity 'would be doubled' for Blops 2. 4 x 2 = 8 They said that the capacity doubled, they did not say that there will be 8 people. That is what is being argued. Okay, that's cool. You kinda said in basically every post on this that it would for sure be this way, so.. yeah. Don't say it's confirmed unless you have evidence.

Where was the confirmation that it would be 8 players? All it said was that the MP engine allowed it to have more than 4 people. It did not say that it actually would.

I wasn't keen on the idea of the future at first... but I really liked the trailer! And just Woods being there is epic enough. Disappointed they aren't continuing from BO, though. There's definitely no Reznov in here But how is zombies gonna work this way?

Well, it could be something that had to be stopped, and was, therefore we have not actually seen it. I'm going with, since it's a sequel to a cold war game, it's definitely NOT in the future. They have recently starting running an advertisement that says "Call of Duty World Reveal | What Does the Near Future Look Like?" Source? I still will likely think, based on previous info, that it's simply referring to the fact that it's future tech, but in the cold war era, simply due to the fact that Mason's story isn't even over.
