  1. I see no reason for why they couldn't have escaped NDU. I mean, they find any truck over there (I think there's 3, 4ish?), head there, have one guy try to start the car (unless the keys are already there), while the rest fend off the zombies. No different from any other zombie strategy, really. As for the massacre of Der Riese, the zombies would have to have come there at some point, because of the last Der Riese radio. Think about it, if theres still Scientists left, the Russians didn't finish their job. The Americans intervened, somehow caused a zombie to escape, and crap goes down. I don't think they'd have time to haul 115 out.
  2. Hold on a second, Doggy. Just wait until they decide on what's officially going to happen with the teams.
  3. Well it's actual story format. I've got most of NDU done, you can check it out. It's in my sig.
  4. I think it's safe to assume that we can't rule out anything as of yet for these first two maps, so anything goes. We don't know that the marines at NDU die, of course we also don't know if the Verruckt and NDU marines are one and the same. Obviously mine is that they're one in the same, hell I've already made a story for NDU. Not finished, but soon it will be.
  5. I guess I can't really argue that... But I still don't agree with it.
  6. Ya, dude before you say anything read the message.
  7. Well the theory is that he just went ahead of his unit, but still it doesn't really add up. It's just not in his character.
  8. I agree, these first two maps it's kind of hard to prove anything about it, because we have so little info. Even in Shi no numa, we still have no clue what reason Tak, Nik, and Tank had to go there. Of course, we've all got theories. To hell with it, I love debating. I'm gonna stick with they're the same marines, and that NDU is before verruckt. You guys don't have to agree, but from what we know there's at least a third of a chance it's correct.
  9. What we do know is that Dempsey's unit alone was sent. The theory of Der Riese actually makes a pretty good point, though.
  10. Not quite what I was thinking... I mean, an outbreak would be when the zombie first got there. We know that NDU would be the second recorded. Since that area is kind of abandoned, I think there's reason to believe that that that outbreak happened long before Verruckts. Verruckts happened within the week the marines got there. There is also reason to believe the marines are one and the same, though no 100% proof. Think about it, the plane crash landed? Marines just HAPPEN to be going to Germany? I don't think there were any other missions.
  11. The key word here is "Outbreak." The first outbreak would be where the zombies were discovered, would it not? The time of NDU is not an outbreak. In fact, the only time we've ever been in the actual outbreak is Five. EDIT: I forgot to add, the trailer could actual mean something, I mean, look at verruckt's. That's part of the story right there.
  12. I don't know... I still don't like the idea that Ascension and Five take place within the same time. It just doesn't make much sense to me. Until we find out how they got their we won't know. I 100% agree. Wasn't it someone who said that in the trailer the marines had the same voices as the ones from Verruckt? Well, at least 2 of those marines died in Verruckt, according to the Limmericks, so they wouldn't really be able to go there, because there were at least 4 in the trailer, in this case there would only be 2 more.
  13. Welcome back, comrade. Of course I remember you. Lots of stuff has changed.
  14. Nah, I'm not feeling up to it today. I'll do the next.
  15. Welcome back! And btw, when did you leave? Was it when one of the map packs came out, because generally the site slows when there are alot of people online.
  16. NO NO NO! I'm sorry, but it would probably end up like L4D, and I HATE L4D. Not to mention, the current formula is still perfect. No, separate modes would not work.
  17. Really? Doesn't seem that bad to me. I'll take that into account, though. Hopefully I'll have a new chapter up soon. I've just been REALLY busy this past week.
  18. I think for Nacht and Verruckt it's more of a fear of the unknown, and the marines have to carry out a mission in verruckt. For all missions involving the crew, it's that they need something, not that they can't escape. For five, probably to contain the infection. For CotD... I see no good way out.
  19. It's pretty good. You may want to space your paragraphs a little bit more, though. It can still be a little tedious to read. I like it so far, wondering who even knocked him out, and why the zombies haven't eaten him yet. Also, love the name of the main character, cause that's my name 8-)
  20. And where exactly are you getting your information? Regards Yellow-card8 Ya, karma there's no way we'll ever believe you. #1 because people always say their "friends" are testers, or whatever all the time. #2, because Treyarch themselves said they would never do it.
  21. But zombies don't breathe? High powered water cannon, however, would work perfectly.
