Me, jolteon, trix(I think), and some other guy (not sure who he is on here) got to 25 on CotD. It was fun, can't wait for the next playdate.
-
Yup, central. And I would join skype, but my computer and PS3 are VERY far from each other.
-
Yeah, I'm going to keep my tag as ZOTD, my PSN has no similarities to my username, so that's how I'll be recognized until we get into zombies.
-
Sounds like I'm friending way then. Sucks that you might not come... but there are other priorities. Next time maybe :D

So, if I'm correct, 6 GMT is about 12 CST right? just want to make sure

Call of Duty Elite Involvement in Zombies
ZombieOfTheDead replied to Risiiii's topic in Single Player
If they have the free elite with the hardened edition, I'm getting that. Hopefully the contract acti has with microsoft ends entirely, then we PS3 people don't have to wait so long. -
1: Shi No Numa. I don't know why, but I always had so much fun on this map, back in the day. Camping was never as fun as on this map (I will always refuse to do a train on this map, now). 2: Moon. People say Der Riese is the perfect zombie map? Hell no. This is. It has EVERYTHING. Best story, coolest idea (which I thought at first was stupid), and most creative map ever. 3. Kino Der Toten. What can I say, it's a fun map to get easy rounds on. It's more or less Der Riese with a few things added, though. Also, Nova crawlers are not that bad. 4. Der Riese. I used to say that I hated this map. Now, I just say it's overrated. It's fun, and it's a classic, and was a great end to WaW 5. Call of the Dead. I love this map, very big, snowy, and just a cool atmosphere. Easter egg is also fun, and I love that the DG-2 returns. George is not that bad, btw  6. Verruckt. Great map. Changed zombies, and is definitely the creepiest map. I really wish they made the maps more like this one... 7. Nacht Der Untoten. Started zombies, and changed my life forever. I love this map, and always shall. Also, it's hard as hell to stay alive. 8. Ascension. Good map, gets boring after awhile. Monkeys piss me off so much, and later rounds seem SOOO long. 9. Shangri La. I like this map, but the biggest issue is that there isn't a good place to set up camp around (or kite). Also, the easter egg was incredibly long, and hard (that's what she said). 10. Five. No, I don't hate this map. Actually, it's really fun. It just seems like it lacks content to me. It's way too small. 11. DOA. Don't hate this either, I just prefer normal zombies 12. No Man's Land. Hard as hell. I like that you spawn here at the beginning, and that the PaP's here, but it's difficult to get both PaP and juggs at start. I never have. Something stupid always happens just before I do.

May have been the highest in stats, doesn't mean it's overpowered. Its overused, and that is all. People complain all the time about these games, you see, and I can now easily distinguish what is and isn't overpowered. And BO WAS balanced well. Again, people can not stop complaining to save their life, which I hate. I'm not being ignorant. Anybody who complains about weapon balance is ignorant, because, unless stats are SIGNIFICANTLY higher than any other gun, which in the famas case, they aren't, it is not hard to kill a person with a seemingly better gun. -
I'll add one of you tomorrow. Can't wait for this.
-
Oh, okay. I'm all for it, another gknova already! And yes, I need zombie confirmation, and not in october like last time. Hell, make the reveal have some aspect of zombies in it.

Most terrifying zombie map
ZombieOfTheDead replied to aegisknight's topic in General Zombies Discussion
Don't forget the campaign version, that also has a creepy atmosphere (and the version that verruckt was more likely based on), with creepy music when you enter it. Hell, there's still the lumps of dirt in the courtyard. -
Most terrifying zombie map
ZombieOfTheDead replied to aegisknight's topic in General Zombies Discussion
I used to be so scared of the first zombie maps. Back then I saw it as more horror (I was scared of any horror type thing). The first two maps were scary. NDU for the atmosphere, Verruckt for creepy noises, and the Atmosphere. Everything afterwards... wasn't. I think probably because the characters made each map seem lighter in tone, and the maps just weren't creepy (aside from the cave room in shangri la, with the creepy chain noise, and all the body bags and dead hogs). Because of the first two maps, however, I actually feel much less scared of monsters and such. Hell, I love zombie movies now. EDIT: Why do people think SNN is creepy? It's kind of a bright map. I mean, there's a few creepy areas and interesting sounds, but it's not really scary. -
H. Porter, escaped to Africa! *UPDATED
ZombieOfTheDead replied to BlindBusDrivr's topic in General Zombies Discussion
I'm sorry if it seems harsh, but I don't see the two developers universes as the same. EDIT: Well, I forgot about the picture of Kravchenko in MW3... it's a possibility. -

Those as just coincidences. And the catacombs with Paris? Please, just because they put in a place with dead people in a famous city that was meant to be a zombie map, does not mean that it has a connection. Besides, who said there would still be a Paris map? -
Indeed, I want to know who I should be friending.

Bottom line: the only thing I ever see as OP is noob tubes. Other than that, really nothing is bad in BO. Argue all you wish. Oh, and BO2 better have emblems back, I actually like being able to make my own. -
Night of the Undead (ZotD's Zombie story)
ZombieOfTheDead replied to ZombieOfTheDead's topic in Zombie Stories
Chapter 2: Round 1 The air had a strange chill. Everything was very eerily silent in the abandoned german bunker. Sanders was scared. It seemed unusual that the creatures had not come for them yet. Not a sound in the dark, moonlit night. The marines all clutched there M1911s, trembling from the fear of an evil they did not know. All except Dempsey. Why is he always unafraid of everything, sanders asked himself. Sanders turned away from Dempsey, and got up off the ground. He decided he’d investigate the area a little more. The bunker wasn’t big, not to mention a lot of the inside seemed to have been destroyed. There were 5 windows in this room, most makeshift, originally acting as doors, but sandbags had been stacked. There was a staircase in the middle, leading to an upstairs area that was blocked by furniture. Above that, there was a chalk message, saying “You must Ascend from Darkness”. Whatever that means, Sanders said to himself. Back near where they came in was another door, made of wood. Written on it was “Help”. The message was unfinished. There was a bloody handprint on that door as well. Sanders shivered. What a creepy place this is, he thought. “Okay, soldiers. Be on the lookout. Everyone take a window. If you see one, shoot like hell,” Dempsey ordered. Sanders took one on the far side away from the help door. Looking through the fog wasn’t helping him contain his fear. The silence was broken by a rustle of bushes. Sanders heart raced faster than it had ever before. He shot his whole clip into it. Nothing came from it. “What’s going on there, Sanders? You see one?” asked Smokey. Sanders just stood there, paralyzed with fear. “Hey, you alright, man?” He came up to Sanders. When he wouldn’t respond, Smokey went in front of Sanders, and shook him. That was when the terror came. From the window, there came a moan, and Smokey was grabbed from behind. Sanders unfroze, and jumped at the surprise of the creature. It was a nazi who grabbed Smokey, only something wasn’t right about it. It had glowing yellow eyes, and was very pale in the moonlight. Immediately, Sanders reloaded his Colt. The Nazi tried biting at Smokey, who tried struggling from its grip. The Nazi couldn’t seem to bite him, the wooden barriers stuck in his way. Sanders brought up his colt, straight at the Nazi’s head, and shot. The body fell back, with a loud thud. Smokey was relived. “Man… thank god you got to your senses in time. Damn…” Smokey whispered. The rest of the group heard the commotion, and regrouped. “Damn…. That Nazi had a nasty grip,” Smokey said shakily, cigarette still in mouth. They pulled the body inside to investigate what they were up against. “Holy shit….” The medic said, “This guy’s been dead for a week at least already.” The air seemed even chillier than before to Sanders. The Nazi had already been dead, but was still attacking? Not to mention the strange, glowing eyes, the strong grip, and how unstoppable some of the other Nazi’s outside had been. “It seems we aren’t facing Nazi’s or anything human here,” Dempsey said. “We are facing something supernatural. They aren’t living, but they aren’t dead. In other words, we are facing the living dead here.” Sanders gulped. He could actually see it now. The Nazi had bloody hands, and a huge wound on its arm. It almost looked like… teeth marks? There was more moaning coming from outside, loader than before. The marines got up, looking around at the windows. “Get to your windows! Go! Go! Go!” Dempsey barked. At Sanders window there was but one. He shot three rounds into its chest, but it would not die. It broke down one of the planks. He swore. Taking out his knife, he slammed it straight into the undead Nazi’s head. Over at Dempsey’s window there were three. Being the badass that he was, he took his knife, chopping the head off one Nazi, then slamming down on another’s head before shooting his whole clip into it. The last lingered, Dempsey took the knife out of the Nazi’s head, then threw it at the remaining one into his left eye, killing it. John got two. He shot a clip into one’s chest, to no Avail “Shit!” he said, “Why won’t mine die?” He reloaded, shooting again, two more into the chest, finally killing it. The other nazi had gotten most of the boards off. “Shit, this one’s getting in!” John said. Smokey came to help, having none at his window. With one stab with his knife, he killed it. The Nazi had looked as if he had been burned. John made note of that, noticing they seemed to not know pain. Sanders sighed. He didn’t know if he could face more than they had already. “Freakin zombies. Guys, with only these colts, we will not survive.” As Sanders said that, he noticed something on the wall. Was that… a chalk outline of a gun? ____________________________________________________________________________________________________________ Well, it's been awhile since the last one. Thanks for all he replies, btw. Like to see that people like the story I don't think this chapter was as good as the last one, but hey. It'll get better. Anyways, hopefully I'll make another in the next few days. I've just been busy for awhile. Hope you like this one. Again, give me feedback, and [brains] if you like it. -
Vegas would be cool. They don't have to make it a main story line map, make some new, regular people survivors with funny lines. Hell, maybe one can be descended from one of the characters (Dempsey DID have a kid, same with Nikolai)

Zombie rage attack! My top 10.
ZombieOfTheDead replied to MegaAfroMan's topic in General Zombies Discussion
TBH, only agree with 5 and 6, and occasionally 1. None of those either happen to me, or seem annoying to me. I also hate when people think George is bad, when he isn't even that hard to avoid. -
H. Porter, escaped to Africa! *UPDATED
ZombieOfTheDead replied to BlindBusDrivr's topic in General Zombies Discussion
Treyarch helped a bit in MP, I believe, but I can tell you now that this wouldn't have to do with our zombie story. Really, how does it make sense for Treyarch to put part of the story in MW3, when it isn't their game? Maybe IW respects zombies, so they put an egg in there. That makes the most sense to me. -

On Why Zombies is Addictive
ZombieOfTheDead replied to perfectlemonade's topic in General Zombies Discussion
Well, I don't agree with kiting making it fun. First of all, back in the WaW days, people rarely kited, and we still had a crap ton of fun, many saying those days were the best. It's just the killing of the zombies that makes it fun to me. In fact, that was what made the first map so addicting, when it had basically none of the other ones. Just killing nazi zombies, and somehow having fun with it. It's difficult to describe. Everything else I agree with completely. -
I'm still up for this, but who should I be adding at this point? Also, anyone's free to add me as long as they tell me who they are.
