  1. Go on the treyarch facebook page. Compare the color with the orange CoD double xp poster. Definitely orange. EDIT: there's also a sort of yellow light on the Big Daddy zombie in the poster. That's a better comparison. The thing is, the eyes have a darker color than yellow in them, it's more reddish, making them orange.
  2. ...No, that's orange right there.
  3. So judging by the poster, we probably won't get a letter today. Unfortunate, but I'm good with just this. I think a bigger question is if we'll get the STG-44s that are in the opening.
  4. MP40 is definite now Oh, and weirdly the knights have orange eyes here. Also, they are really giving Tak some spotlight
  5. Doesn't look like Mason at all, like literally no resemblance except for the hair color. If you look closely you can see how he's a younger version of the Dempsey we know and love.
  6. Am I the only one who thought there would be another letter by now?
  7. Because it shows on PSN?
  8. It's actually fairly simple when you get down to it. This map is called Origins, correct? Well lets add another origin: Samantha. The achievement kinda implies that she isn't her future self (the lost part). There's a whole crap ton of possibilities. Perhaps she isn't really Maxis's kid for one, given that he's a old fart. Maybe she used anti aging cream to stay young for 27 years, I don't know. Or maybe she's the reincarnation of Lucifer, and she's going to raise hell  Actually I'm not doubting that, now, or at least some variant of it. Perhaps maxis wanted to keep her as a kid for that very reason, because she has some abilities. Maybe Maxis truly was evil and going down the wrong path as Richtofen was saying in his letter.

  10. I wouldn't doubt if it was in a way. There's so many ideas I've got in my head for how samantha plays a role.
  11. I figured as much, but wasn't sure, so thanks for clarifying that. Totally, lol... That means there's no way I'm ever getting that achievement
  12. You're so lucky... Wait, did the campaign team make Mob of the Dead, then? I guess that should've been my original question, because that could've just been a bullshit rumor.
  13. WTFWTFWTFWTFWTF... HOW THE ACTUAL.....?! You must've been playing with bad people. And that's all you'd like to say?
  14. +1. The campaign team made this map, right? They know how to make achievement hunting fun (not like those bullshit turned achievements that are nigh on impossible to get. Or at least one).
  15. Let's agree to disagree... kinda makes everything seem pointless in that respect no matter what. Besides, in calling it origins it should stay an origins story. Besides, I'm thinking there's some twist regarding Samantha. Whether she's not the one we know, or is. All I can say is it'll be interesting, and I doubt if she is going back in time that much will change. Also, marketing is made irrelevant in terms of a prequel, at least in this. The big thing is we get to play as our favorite characters. Most don't give a crap about the story.
  16. Calm yourself, it's still possible there's something else up here. I have a feeling this is just a way of treyarch trolling us, and Samantha will be something else...
  17. That kinda thing makes a story seem horrible, and so far the only thing making it a sequel is Samantha, so really it hasn't been blatant. We'll still have to see how it pans out.
  18. They really should've had an achievement "Tank on a tank." Little Lost Girl better have a good explanation, I really REALLY don't want this to be a sequel instead of a prequel.
  19. I suspect that they'll all have a piece of their old personalities. Dempsey will likely still have his same badassness quotes, but with likely be more sophisticated as said Nikolai... well he'll still have plenty of russian references. Not much else to say except he'll still have his hilarious humor. Takeo still seems to be about honor, but I wouldn't doubt if there was more to him then that here. Richtofen I suspect will get crazier depending on the slaughter. I honestly think he could be completely normal until he's ripping people apart. Not 100% of course.
  20. This can only be explained one way: Time Travel! just have to make fun of everyone who thinks time travel can explain everything.
  21. Why would Richtofen choose to lose all his power? I understand that he may not be happy with his circumstance like he thought he would, but it seems out of character for him to give up. Also, it assumes that you chose Richtofen's ending over Maxis's. a paradox is a paradox, i just thought a showdown between the doc-tah, and his three manipulated subjects, one last go round, winner take all, would be a fitting way to top an already exponentially creative map. as a fan, i feel as if it would do its justice. That's a terrible idea, actually. It just makes it seem as if everything else is pointless, because everything ends at the beginning. There was a reason for the cycle in MotD. There isn't for the O4. This is the origin story, and that's all it should be: a prequel. Not to mention, it'd be the exact same as MotD.
  22. Eh, I honestly don't know. Seeing as how it's incredibly unlikely he saw much of the robot, it's hard to say. It's an interesting little tibit, but there's not much to say other than he's puzzled for some odd reason, whether it be from zombies, noticing a robot, or just all around wondering what is going on. I have a theory that he's just not himself when operating and dissecting, and thus when he realized what he was doing, he was confused about what was happening.
  23. Idk, like I said, maybe he thought zombies would pop out, or maybe he just noticed the light coming in the building from above(not from the robot). It probably isn't too relevant, but something probably just made him look up, like maybe a slight shake from the robot. Yeah, his is the most confusing. It's possibly just an inconsistency, because in the second half of the second letter he mentions getting closer to a target. Bad Engrish is probably the issue.
  24. He was kinda looking towards all of the openings in the building. Guess he was checking for zombies, too. He probably knew about the hole in the ceiling, and looked up. Or at least that's how I took it.
