I wouldn't doubt if they based the model off him. They literally copied models from the WaW campaign for their original look. Also with the eye color, it kinda switches from orange and yellow it seems to me. I don't know what it is. It was that way in WaW as well.

Samantha's voice sounds somewhat demonic like an announcer. Not to mention, she isn't actually in the map, it's from the perspective of her telling the story, so she could in fact be older. As for Maxis, no one really knows. For all we know, that could be how he looks in 1945 (doubtful, yes). It's also possible he could be younger than he appears. Some people look old, but are young, and some look young, but are old. I really don't want to say time travel, but if it is involved he is the only one who really could. Everyone else looks 20 years younger at least.

Wasn't there also some artwork of the O4 to be done by Alex Ross or something? Everyone's completely forgotten about that!

If you don't want die rise, there's little point in getting it. If you add up the costs for the other 3, it's $45. It's $50 for the season pass. If you don't have nuketown, then that might be worth the extra $5, however. MotD and buried are both pretty fun, and origins looks the best yet, so if you do want nuketown, go for it.

To be completely honest there wasn't much in the Nikolai letter. It's Nikolai though, arguably the least important of the 4 storywise. Most probably thought the cutscene was more important, though. Anticipating Dempsey next, followed by Richtofen. If luck has it, it'll be during the map for those two.

That's a possibility but it doesn't explain everyone else. I mean, Richtofen Jr.? Tank Jr.? But they are not that old. If they are all about 20-25, they they would be about 42-50 years old, whichcould be possible. Scratch that, that would make them too old in my eyes. Have you played the BO2 campaign? Woods was 59 by the end of the 80s segment and looked like he did when he was 30. The only one that's really a stretch is Dempsey.

The guy could pass for probably 40, but it's unlikely If they did time travel, it's likely only a few years, because the O4 still look drastically different. Maximum they could have teleported is 39' due to the radios, and they all look more than 6 years older. Samantha doesn't have to be there to tell a story, so terrible example. Maxis IS a more difficult one to explain, but I'm sure there is an explanation out there. You write it off too quickly, MMX. Time travel would be completely stupid in this scenario. Besides, that also means that somehow the O4 age, and Maxis and Samantha do not.

The only one I see is that they never were from WWII but actually WWI and fooled everyone. Or they're just really old. There's no way Sam was actually around back then, however.
