  1. I feel like with BO2 that they felt TranZit (and it's portions) were enough "maps" to have on disk, while having Nuketown as an incentive to get the special editions/season pass. However, with BO3, they've had a considerable amount of time which they didn't have before, and I cannot see that going towards only a MotD style map and a remake. Unless SoE is absolutely huge and bonkers, in which case, I'm fine with. Plus, the special edition this year caters directly to Zombies players, so it makes sense for them to include a remake of arguably the most favoured map in Zombies history.
  2. Nice find, John! I definitely think there's going to be more than two maps available at launch. Heck, I'd go so far as to say that the base game will have three. However, it's entirely possible that the other pictures are just variations of SoE and/or The Giant. I mean, we saw a lot of varied pictures in the Snapchat thread, right?
  3. Are we really arguing about semantics? Anyway, I'm not expecting Peter to be present in this map, hell, we don't even know where he was at this point in time. But I would expect there to be some sort of Easter egg that alludes to him.
  4. I highly doubt we'll be getting Paris any time soon. However, if they ever do a remake of Moon, I can see them reskinning it as Paris.
  5. Another thing. What if the fountains are actually the new "Perk Machines" in a sense? I mean, it'd fit the theme well, and it would explain why we didn't see any evidence of them in the trailer.
  6. Seems to be a lot of focus on Nero. Either Treyarch really likes Jeff Goldblum or the character might be a bit more important than the others.
  7. I have two theories. a.) Time Travel b.) Dimensional Travel The first one is somewhat likely, but it's the weaker of the two for a couple reasons. Firstly, we've already established the inconsistencies with the characters in Origins and the characters in the rest of the O4's maps. Secondly, when Richtofen travelled through time to Kino, he seemed pretty surprised that the teleporters could do such a thing. Why would he be surprised if his younger self already knew it was very possible? The second theory is what I'm more or less leaning towards. Now that Samantha has been saved from Agartha, the entire universe is in a paradox, and has transported the NO4 from the "steampunk" WW1 era France to "normal" WW2 era Germany. Now, for what reason they've travelled to the initial outbreak of Der Riese is unknown, apart from the fact that they want to change history. Which I suppose somewhat contradicts both theories. Huh. Zombies is a weird, weird story. The only winning move is to not play at all.
  8. Hmm, those symbols are the same as the ones in the first teaser trailer.
  9. When he is dead he can't get to the Moon to fulfill his plan. But we know that Samantha will be trapped in the Moon. That's still a problem to be solved. Will she, though? Right after being teleported, she ends up at Griffon Station with Maxis. Perhaps there's a side quest in The Giant that helps to prevent her from being sucked into the MPD?
  10. I believe that killing Original Richtofen is the first step in achieving their goals, whatever they might be. After all, they did say that they're aiming to change the future.
  11. Basically confirms what we all thought since this one doesn't cut out early. Origins crew is trying to re-write history.
  12. Here's a longer, better quality video: Basically confirms that they travelled to the...future?...to change history.
  13. After the whole fiasco that happened with Nuketown, I can almost guarantee that they'll just release it to the public sometime in December.
  14. Ah, yes, I remember another user talking about this a few months back. There's definitely something odd going on with Kino, and now that the devs themselves have stated that there are still Easter Eggs, perhaps we'll finally unravel what's been going on with this map.
  15. WTF!! Was that hitler? No? It was Richtofen.
  16. Huh. So the remake is set during the initial outbreak. This changes everything.
  17. I have a feeling the Shadow Man played some role in the events of MOTD.
  18. Vincent is a cop, actually. He's like the opposite of a mobster
  19. Pretty sure the gum also gives them random perks. In fact, I didn't see a single perk machine anywhere.
  20. So, it looks like MotD is more important than we initially thought.
  21. This is pretty intense.
  22. Now there's a comment that just reeks of PTG haha. But for real, you do raise some valid points. Wonder if this version of Der Riese is indeed affiliated with the alternate 935 in Origins.
  23. True, but the most logical thing is to assume that those images are from Der Riese, as per the pattern of the maps (NDU -> Verruckt -> SNN -> Der Riese -> Teleportation). Doesn't make sense for them to show the other three maps but not Der Riese.
  24. Although there aren't any quotes that say that they went from SNN to Der Riese, doesn't the Kino loading screen kinda confirm that they did? They teleported to the future due to a combination of the Wunderwaffe and the teleporters. It wouldn't make sense for them to somehow get to SNN in the future when we already know the process of events in BO.
