Hmm, I wouldn't mind that. A small nod to maps of Zombies past. Also, that technically isn't a mini Nacht. It's full sized, it's just not all accessible. :P
-
I highly doubt that we'll revisit Der Riese (unfortunately). It would be fantastic if we were able to explore the entire facility, but again, I doubt that possibility.
-
The 935 blueprint in the background is not Der Riese. Just wanted to point that out. Also, they're not really noticeable, but there are a few pages still located after Buried's. I believe the next page will be the next map's loading screen. Perhaps the 935 logo is alluding to the map in the next GAME will be a Group 935 facility.

Well that's fine. I just meant if every player in the game has all perks, then why continue to spawn the powerup?

DLC 4 "mode" called Gateway? (FEAR TEDDY)
Flammenwerfer replied to Electric Jesus's topic in General Zombies Discussion
How do you know that the FEAR anagram was intentional? -
This exactly. It's just silly that they can't make it so that if you have all perks, the perk bottles just don't spawn at all.
-
It's because Reznov basically highjacked the brainwashing process. He used Mason to get revenge for himself, because he knew that if anyone could kill the people who ruined his life, it would be Mason. The purpose of the escape from Vorkuta was not to get everyone to escape, but just one person: Mason. Reznov orchestrated the whole thing. He knew what his fate would be, but he also knew that his spirit would live on in the brainwashed mind of Mason.

DLC 4 "mode" called Gateway? (FEAR TEDDY)
Flammenwerfer replied to Electric Jesus's topic in General Zombies Discussion
Hrmm, I don't know. I'm still not entirely "sold" on the whole "Agartha will be the next map" idea. Not to mention the whole FEAR TEDDY concept is just silly to me. I mean, what if it does spell TEDDY? Then what? I don't understand the purpose of this absurd anagram. I kind of hope it spells something like "TEDDX" or "TEDDQ", but at the same time, I'll find it hopeless because people will still try to find some sort of hidden meaning to it. -
Welcome to forum! Also, this is quite the first post! Well done sir!

When I first saw the announcement for the Pack-a-Punch camo, I was ecstatic. It looked to be the camo from WaW, which is by far my favourite. However, when I bought the camo today and used it, I noticed something odd about it. For starters, it has gold highlights in it. WaW's camo did not have these. Also, the designs seem random, like the PaP camos for the maps in BOII, and not somewhat symmetrical like WaW's. So, while this camo bears a resemblance to World at War's PaP camo, it does not quite fit the bill. Thus, this got me thinking. Could this "camo" be DLC 4's possible Pack-a-Punch camo? As in, this was just a taste of things to come?

TranZit 4 are Dead, Original 4 will return next map
Flammenwerfer replied to FatedTitan's topic in Buried
I really don't think we'll be in Agartha next. That just doesn't seem...right to me. -
TranZit 4 are Dead, Original 4 will return next map
Flammenwerfer replied to FatedTitan's topic in Buried
Oh, don't worry, the O4 will return and blow zombies up all over again. -
I guess it's good if you're actually bad with pistols, but otherwise, I can't see this being something that a player will try to get intentionally. Just isn't worth the time, effort, and ammo.

Welcome to the site! Great to hear that you're from the WaW days. Ah, those were the best.

So this thread will be just for asking the community what their favourite map is for certain elements of a map. The categories are: -Favourite layout? -Favourite starting room? -Favourite map with the best wall weapons? -Favourite map with the best Wonder Weapon(s)? -Favourite way to access the Pack-a-Punch? -Favourite map with the best traps? -Favourite map with the best special enemy(enemies)? -Favourite way to get the Free Perk power-up? I'll start. -Favourite layout? Der Riese. I really enjoyed Nightfire's layout from WaW, so this map was already amazing. Perks were in places that made sense while still being difficult to access at times. Teleporters were a great way to escape. There were so many places to hold out with when playing co-op. It was just an amazing map overall. -Favourite starting room? Buried's Processing. I like how it looks and feels. It might not be the best area for holding out, but it still gives me that good vibe whenever I play it. Also, purchasable LSAT. -Favourite map with the best wall weapons? Die Rise/Buried. I can't decide which of these I like more, because they both feature the same great wall weapons. I'd have to give the edge to Buried though, if only for the chance to purchase the LSAT. -Favourite map with the best Wonder Weapon(s)? Moon. The Zap Gun/Wave Gun is my favourite WW by far, and the fact that it is a dual wield weapon that changes into a microwave gun, it feels like two amazing weapons in once amazing package. -Favourite way to access the Pack-a-Punch? Ascension. I chose Ascension mainly because of the ability to blow up the rocket with the Ray Gun. It's also fairly simple to accomplish, while at the same time challenging if you're not careful. -Favourite map with the best traps? Buried. I count the buildables as traps for this one, and by god, does this map ever take the cake. It features three ways of killing zombies, all of them efficient and fun to do. -Favourite map with the best special enemy(enemies)? Shi No Numa/Der Riese/Kino Der Toten/Moon/Town Survival. Really, you can't go wrong with Hellhounds. -Favourite way to get the Free Perk power-up? Call of the Dead. It just felt so rewarding after killing George. Getting the free perk just made it even more awesome.

WaW only had three map packs, though, and Makin Day. Even then, there are those other code strings that wouldn't be accounted for.
-
However, it is very odd how Jimmy and the rest of the zombie team hadn't mentioned MOTD at all. Obviously the other team had a big impact on its creation.

Russman referring to himself as a cowboy?
Flammenwerfer replied to Stupid_Treyarch's topic in Buried
I highly doubt it. I think it's just him referencing the theme of the map. -
Alright, let me tell you a story. A few days ago, FriendoLithium and I tried re-doing the TranZit side quest in favour of Richtofen, as we had already completed it for Maxis. However, for the life of us, we could not get Richtofen to speak when we turned on the power. We discounted it as either being a glitch, or that perhaps we were "locked in" to Maxis with Buried being out and all. Yet, just last night, we attempted to re-do the Mob of the Dead side quest in favour of breaking the cycle, seeing as how I had inadvertently continued it in a previous game with randoms. But, once again, we couldn't complete it, for the numbers on the ticker in the stairwell weren't clicking after our third (and fourth) trip to the GG Bridge. Our thoughts on this is that in the latest patch, it is now impossible to complete a side quest with less than four players. Has anyone else experienced this lately?

I give it an 8/10. It's fun, and definitely has some replay value. I'm docking points, however, for a few reasons. My main gripes with this map are the number of things that need to be "smashed" by the Big Guy, and the fact that the ghosts take away 2000 points with every hit. 2000 seems to be a little too much. 1000, in my opinion, would be much more "fair" while still being an incentive to not get hit. All in all, I'll definitely be playing this map many times. It's fun, it's got great weapons, a great layout, and the best spawn room ever aesthetically.
-
That won't be the next DLC. 1. It's already happened to them. 2. It's just there to signify that they've been on a journey. We saw a lot of other things in the cutscene too, like the new cities and the pyramids of Egypt. By that logic, those should be DLC maps as well.

Custom Games don't count on leaderboards
Flammenwerfer replied to Ourobos's topic in General Zombies Discussion
I don't mean to be "that guy", but this is OOOOLLLLDDDDD news, mate. -
exactly what does pushing the button in the courthouse do?
Flammenwerfer replied to ballzdeep728's topic in Buried
But the game doesn't actually end right? Like it did in motd? No, it does not end the game. -
You have to be in a full party with everyone having done all side quests for Maxis. Then, you have to press a button behind the courtroom.
-
Not really. The map technically starts in Nevada, so what could happen is that the player selects Nevada U.S.A./Area 51 on the world map. Then, when it loads, there could be an image of No Man's Land that can selectable, as well as an image of the moon in the background that can also be selected.
