  1. I'm pretty sure the person who said "Fetch me their souls!" first was Sam, and then Richtofen. I mean, why would this ominous voice suddenly change when Richtofen came into power, unless the person who controls the zombies is the voice?
  2. Hmm, interesting connection. One makes the zombies slip, the other makes the zombies melt. Maybe. ;)
  3. Robert: Fair point, Rosiline: We just can't have players rape training everywhere... Robert:That'd be madness, Rosiline: Or compleat sanity... Robert: But it wouldnt be fun, Rosilie: Exept for the less challenging players... Robert: Nether the less it won't happen... Rosiline: Now then, not now, not ever... Still, I can see this being a much larger map than most we've seen. I mean, it's an entire island. Surely we'll have some leeway with the area!
  4. But natural zombies tend to feast on humans, according to the generic zombie persona. Our zombies have been known to just take down our characters one by one. But it would make some relative sense to say that nobody is really controlling them. And if there were some entity controlling them in this era, it's probably just to wipe out any remaining humans. They're not popping out of just anywhere like they do now; they're engineered zombies unleashed. Oh, geez, sorry, I meant the Hellhounds. :P
  5. Well by that logic the map could very well be in 2025 due to the LSAT, or the 1960s because of the Uzi.
  6. Perhaps the Hellhounds not controlled by anyone. Like it's in their nature to seek out and kill the living humans they encounter. The person controlling the zombies simply "releases the hounds" and they simply act upon instinct.
  7. You underestimate our thirst for knowledge.
  8. Yeah, when I saw that, I immediately thought of acid sprinklers. Let us melt our zombie troubles away, shall we? ;)
  9. Now, I'm kind of going out on a limb here, but let's assume that the zombie we saw at the start is indeed the former warden. This friendly looking fellow Now, I've looked it up, and only found one person related to the warden's position that remotely looks like this zombie. The person I found? E. J. Miller. He's the dashing man in the middle. Now, let's read his excerpt from Wikipedia: So, let's list some main facts about E.J. (not you, Electric Jesus). 1. He arrived in 1934. 2. He left in 1947. 3. He was an Associate Warden. 3. He was present for many of the escape attempts. Something that our new crew was trying to do. Thus, if this man is indeed the zombie we see here, then we have a possible time frame of 1934 - 1947.
  10. Something I want to note is that if you look on the left side of the picture, you see what looks like the Warden in a corridor getting blasted by what can best be described as "green rain." Perhaps another possible new trap?
  11. ChubMan! Nice to have you back! And that is phenomenal! Quite the find. Let's hope we get to know for sure!
  12. I really hope that the map encompasses the entire area of Alcatraz Island, but a part of me is thinking that Treyarch skimmed down on the size. I love large maps with lots of content.
  13. Not to mention the Zombie Shield part on the outside of the prison.
  14. The spikes on the roof are very strange indeed. How would they work as a trap? I can't imagine it going all the way down to the floor, as that would kill the player. Not to mention things on the ground, like a chair, would get in the way. Perhaps it comes down halfway, and we have to crouch or go prone to not get killed ourselves? This is, of course, assuming that they are indeed traps, and not just there as an insane form of decoration.
  15. Well, Tunguska happened in June 1908. If anything, that would have caused the first outbreak of zombies, or at least, the first case of zombies. It is possible that remnants from the event could have made their way to Alcatraz Island in 1933. How, however, is a mystery.
  16. Yeah, the symbols are angled and cutoff. I'll look into it as soon as I can when the map is released, though!
  17. I don't think any of the perks have alcohol in them, apart from Deadshot, maybe. It's possible that the perk machines were created before the zombies were.
  18. Sososo happy! Firing Range was my favourite of the three "small" maps (Nuketown, Summit, and itself). Really looking forward to seeing how they changed it up!
  19. I believe the Warden uses these ones as type of guard dogs. Because Hell hounds always rush at you, this puppy in the trailer was just standing there roaring. That's a very good connection, once again! Yes, perhaps these are mutations of the Warden's guard dogs. Hellweilers, anyone? I still want to think that they're flaming gremlins like the Denizens, but hey, nobody knows. :P
  20. Well, no, of course not. I believe that journal entry was created when they were first starting to test out the teleporters. Of course, once they teleported Fluffy, well, you know what happened. ;)
  21. Matuzz pointed out the Maxis journal entry in my Red Eyed Zombies thread. Where Richtofen believes the teleporter actually sent the subjects through time. Perhaps, if these are indeed Hellhounds, they got to Alcatraz via time travel?
  22. Oh ho ho! Nice connection there, Matuzz! Of course, time travel.
  23. Perhaps they are blazing Denizens? Or something in the same family as Denizens?
  24. Hmm, I'm not so sure. Like I said, this map is set before the first Hellhound was even created. But, Treyarch likes to mess with us.
  25. Very interesting, mate! But, I think this might be a little too outlandish, even for Zombies. :P
