  1. Ah, Tunguska. Just saying that brings back the nostalgia. Finding those boxes in Shi No Numa labelled "Tunguska" was strange...in a good kind of way. For those of you who don't know, the Tunguska event "was an enormously powerful explosion that occurred near the Podkamennaya Tunguska River in what is now Krasnoyarsk Krai, Russia, at about 07:14 KRAT (00:14 UT) on June 30 [O.S. June 17], 1908." according to Wikipedia. It is largely believed to have been caused by a meteorite impact of some sort (an air burst). A meteorite, huh? What sort of special element can we obtain from meteorites in the CoD Zombies universe? The Tunguska Event has been speculated and theorized many times over the past few years, and perhaps now it will see the light of day as a Zombies map. Why do I think this? In Black Ops II, the maps so far (barring Nuketown) have dealt with specific events in history. Green Run is, of course, based on the Green Run experiments at Hanford. Great Leap Forward, or better known as "Die Rise," was based on the campaign of the same name that forced rapid acceleration of the Chinese economy to become based on communism. Both of these events were "questionable" in a sense in both areas, so it is safe to assume that Tunguska would also fall within these guidelines. There are a lot mysteries surrounding this event, so it seems almost natural that it would become a map. So, please, discuss this with me! I want to know your opinions! I crave them. :D
  2. I'm pretty sure that picture was made by the people at PTG. Translation: It's fake.
  3. Hello there, Patrick! Nice to have you here. Hope you enjoy your stay at the CoDZ Hotel. ;)
  4. You fell down to the lower level by accident, and then Who's Who activated to respawn you. That's all that happened, mate.
  5. Great to hear! Thanks Bob. :)
  6. Sounds like one of those silly "Max Ammos are limited" rumours that aren't true in the slightest.
  7. No, not a troll. It was a leaked achievement list that was surprisingly accurate come release day. For the achievement for killing "Him", they instead called it the "Avogadro." That's why people first started calling "Him" the Avogadro, and then it spread like wildfire.
  8. You know, I don't play much Grief, but if there was Grief for Verruckt, well, let's just say I'd be playing that a LOT. 8-)
  9. Yeah! Apparently big YouTubers (and apparently basketball players, ie Scola...) will be going down to Treyarch on Tuesday to test out the new maps. Looks like we'll have our information soon!
  10. Meh, whatever. I rarely have had issues with Live, so I'm okay with this.
  11. Just thought I'd share this nice image for you all... NEW MAPS THAT HAVEN'T COME OUT YET? WHAT.
  12. maybe, but bo1 is the better game IMO BO1 also has all of its DLC considered.
  13. I believe he meant that they skipped making mod tools for BO1 but they should add them for BO2.
  14. Turned isn't that bad. Come on now. The main reason people hate it is because they don't like downs they receive that tarnish their oh-so-precious stats. What could make it better? Definitely add more maps. Diner is okay, but variety is the spice of life. Power Plant would have been a good map as well.
  15. Are you saying we HAVE to get to all the boxes, or we're just able to use them all?
  16. "It's funny that in every game I'm in, when I go down, we all die." But...but you screwed everyone else over...that's why everyone died... What a smarmy little...ugh.
  17. It's actually The Afterman, from Coheed and Cambria.
  18. Wow, a lot of people here listed Die Rise as their favourite map. :? Anyway, mine is Der Riese. The WaW version in particular. It had the best go-to weapons, the Pack-a-Punch, life-saving teleporters, dogs + zombies rounds, the infinite-chain Wunderwaffe (as opposed to BO's fifteen-chain) and really, the best atmosphere for any zombie map.
  19. Well, it depends. If you played them on Black Ops, they're virtually similar with some differences. For example, you have access to World at War weapons in the box instead of Cold War weapons. Really though, you get a similar experience if you played them on Black Ops first. If anything, get whichever you liked and experience what some of us here experienced four years ago. It won't be as mystifying to you, but they're still fun maps. P.S. Shi No Numa also has achievements, if you're into that sort of thing. Verruckt does not.
  20. Like others have said, stick to either side, and never go directly in the middle. This glitch has happened twice to me, and both at very inconvenient times. Ever since I started jumping on the furthest right, however, this hasn't happened to me at all.
  21. I would love to see more variety in the map, but only if they reduced the time in-between perk spawns. Like others have said, waiting for Juggernog and the Pack-a-Punch would be a hassle and just complicate things in the long run.
  22. Welcome to the site, sir! Now, we here at CoDZ have theorized heavily on if BOII's DLC will follow a pattern similar to BO's. However, RIFT is a new one that we, or at least I, haven't seen before. Very interesting indeed. Also, we have many theories about Stu and his relation to zombies, particularly "The Flesh." Here's the link to the discussion. Again, welcome! We hope to hear more theories from you! :D
  23. Mine cart? Why? Because of that fake "leaked" info from a couple months back? :|
  24. Edit: Strange, when the topic post is deleted, the person who commented afterward becomes the OP. Either way, disregard this thread. I didn't make it.
  25. Probably last night when GRILL made some random jump off an edge. It's okay, though, because the random was a jerk.
