The Real Reason Richtofen Talks To Samuel
Flammenwerfer replied to Taklok's topic in General Zombies Discussion
Ah, so blackmail? Sounds plausible. I like it. 8-) -
I'll assume you mean me. 8-) I made quite a few threads, but they either a) Got buried under the plethora of new threads, or They were moved to the map discussion forum, like PINNAZ pointed out. But yes, now that the "omg new map!!!11!!" feeling has wore off, and most of the story/strategy discussions being moved, the Die Rise section here has just been a beehive, but replace the bees with senseless threads.

Are you sure? It's been a while since I've played Five but I'm pretty certain there's a cutscene instead of a loading screen for solo.

Original Characters Returning? (Die Rise Easter Egg)
Flammenwerfer replied to SparseGore75149's topic in Story Discussion
Well, CharlieIntel actually said "in some form" but I do agree that we will see our O4 sooner or later. -
Even then, if you can conserve ammo in the proper way, all you would have to do is wait for a boss round. Kill the Jacks with a good, upgraded weapon and you have your Max Ammo.

A theory that could prove the O3 to be dead.
Flammenwerfer replied to HypeRedemption's topic in General Zombies Discussion
Ehh, not quite. I mean, yes, his "soul" is within Sam's body, which in turn is in the MPD, but his consciousness, I believe, is within Aether. He's a basically a new being, and Sam's body is just a shell. I think that's how it goes. That, or he controls everything from within the MPD. :| -

Flammenwerfer replied to HypeRedemption's topic in General Zombies Discussion
Well you must have some sort of belief in it if you made a theory about it. ;) -
Crawlers die because they bleed out. It's been like this since World at War.

There is literally the same topic as this one right below. Anyway, my thoughts on the matter.

BO2 Zombie Menu Diary Entries
Flammenwerfer replied to Rissole25's topic in General Zombies Discussion
Ah, yes, that's what I meant. ;) -

Flammenwerfer replied to HypeRedemption's topic in General Zombies Discussion
Are...are you talking about me? I called it the skybox. Either way, I don't think it means anything more than a "quirk". -
Small Theory on Final DLC and The End
Flammenwerfer replied to bagel_'s topic in Research & Development
I don't think it'll be the last DLC. Why? Because it was deemed too "anti-climatic" as the last DLC for Black Ops. Paris would be good as a middle map instead. -
BO2 Zombie Menu Diary Entries
Flammenwerfer replied to Rissole25's topic in General Zombies Discussion
Interesting how the entries seem to move backwards. Perhaps we'll get more and more until the final DLC gives us Entry #1? -
A theory that could prove the O3 to be dead.
Flammenwerfer replied to HypeRedemption's topic in General Zombies Discussion
Um, no? You can teleport to Area 51 after the destruction in Moon. If you mean the glitched skybox, it's generally assumed that the "second Earth" you see is nothing more than a glitch, seeing as how it's the same skybox for both on and off the moon. -

I think he "misses" them because he simply does not want them anymore. They served their purposes to him, and now he couldn't really care less. He's focused on getting more power or the such, and also probably feels resentment due to the whole "blowing up the world" thing. It's like when you've known a really annoying person for a long time, but when they leave, you suddenly feel a bit sad and miss their annoyances. You don't really miss them, but you feel different without them around. Richtofen probably feels the same way, after spending such a long time killing the undead with his "unconventional allies." -
The Spin-Off I always wanted to see
Flammenwerfer replied to ZaquiriDaquiri's topic in Research & Development
Honestly, I thought after Moon, Treyarch would "replace" zombies with aliens. You know, since the Earth was destroyed, they would have nowhere to go. Then, the aliens who were responsible for the MPD, or at least knew of the Element, would abduct our heroes. Once the rumours started that BOII was gonna happen and be in the future, this really reinforced my imagining. But then nope, they announced zombies. Now, I'm not upset by any means. I love zombies. I just thought it would have been interesting to have a futuristic version of zombies with space-weapons and different enemies, with every boss round featuring alien-zombies controlled by the weakened Richtofen. -
Heads up! Turned mode WILL add to your Kill/Down ratio!
Flammenwerfer replied to MF_MaxiMillion's topic in Turned
Lol stats? We didn't have stats like that in World at War. We didn't have them in Black Ops either. We don't need them now, either. Zombies is supposed to be fun, not super-competitive. What matters is your enjoyment, not your "rank". I, for one, like Turned. It's fresh and fun. Who cares about stats when you're chasing a panicked human from across the map? Pfffft stats. Who needs them? -
Well when you're hounded by Activision it's kind of hard to make something super polished and amazing from the get-go. I'm just happy Treyarch are so quick at patching this stuff.

Custom map creators HERE! And greatest map ever!
Flammenwerfer replied to Stop Mocking Me0's topic in Zombie Labs
What you're asking for here is nigh impossible. The mod tools for Black Ops/II haven't been released, thus making custom map makers being limited to WaW's textures and areas. Not to mention your idea would take a huge amount of time, not only requiring old maps to be put into one map, but to also create whole new areas due to not having the Black Ops maps. :| -
Has anyone else seen the assassin revive?
Flammenwerfer replied to deathb4di2h0nor's topic in Die Rise
It happens because they start reviving before they hit the ground, which basically nullifies the fall damage. -
It's only in the Revolution DLC.
-
It's a neat idea, yes, but could you imagine Die Rise/GLF? Yeah it looks pretty and nice, but it would still look weird being in a broken-in-half building that looks as richly as the queen! Not to mention that there are some areas that DEPEND on the broken down look. But for Green Run and Nuketown? That would be so boss.
-
That's some pretty wishful thinking. What kind of term could you think up that would fit the map pack name and start with an 'I'? Or an 'O'? Or another 'E' for that matter that wouldn't sound repetitive?
-
Have you ever played a glitched 8-man TranZit game? I did once and it's crazy. IF they did a co-operative map with all eight, they would have to make the map actually big. Think Green Run but with actual PLACES where the long stretches of road are. I honestly can't see that happening, though. Maybe a special Grief Mode that's non-canon and features both groups, but for now, I wouldn't hold my breath for it.
-
Well if we go by that logic, then "FEAR" should be completely different.
