Basically, here's a quote I made in another thread. I mean, guys, come on. Kino barely added anything to the story when it came out. We didn't even find out HOW the group arrived in the future in that map, but rather the updated Shi No Numa. Green Run is setting the stage for the new progress in our story, and we will for sure have a connection between BOII Zombies and the Zombies from before. Some people are being a little too critical of this EE (or, as I like to refer to them as, Side Mission) in my opinion.

Huge amount of information from the String Dump
Flammenwerfer replied to MonopolyMan's topic in General Zombies Discussion
I think "BRAAIINS..." its there because its the weapon for the zombies, if they dont have it, they cant attack you Oh no, they can still attack you. It would just show the standard knife animation though! ;) -
Will anything happen tonight? 21/12/12?!
Flammenwerfer replied to welsh skipper88's topic in TranZit
It "sucked" because it's setting up for the new chapter of our story. When you read a book or watch a sequel to a movie, most of the time they don't immediately pick up where the last left off. Instead, they set up for the new story chapter and in time will connect the new story to the old. -

Flammenwerfer replied to MonopolyMan's topic in General Zombies Discussion
In the latest interview they had with GTTV (before the game came out) he said that they initially wanted to, but they kept running into roadblocks in the creative process. Thus, they dropped it. However, doesn't mean we can't expect it eventually. ;) -
Definitely a glitch. It looks like his behaviour was swapped with a regular zombie's behaviour. Yet he still remains on the map, because the files for the Avogadro tell it to not leave until it's taken enough melee damage. The guy in the video said that it stayed there the entire match. Definitely a glitch.

Nacht Der Untoten area could be a facade...
Flammenwerfer replied to ninezerowill's topic in TranZit
How could they? The people at Nacht were four random Marines, not the O4. Unless you're talking about the NDU remake in Black Ops, which isn't canon. -

I'd expect at least an announcement tomorrow during the day rather than an update in the middle of the night more than anything. Don't lose hope people. -
What do you think about the characters?
Flammenwerfer replied to bbobs2's topic in General Zombies Discussion
I really enjoy the new characters. They all seem to have so much personality, and although they don't crack as many jokes as the O4 did, I still like them. It's great to see the zombie world through the eyes of (seemingly) regular people! -
Maybe it's due to the fact that people who never knew what a PaP machine was had to build it. You know, like amateur DIY, resulting in less-than-optimal effects.

I assume I know you from somewhere Also I'm a bit puzzled on the DLC thing. Because you have to remember that this isn't just for zombies. And 3arc stated that there will be 4 DLCs in total. But since this is not zombies only, if you factor in Nuketown Zombies you'd have to count Nuketown 2025 making 6. And there was no sign of a DLC6 (But not DLC 1,2,3,or 4) and not other 3arc games had 5 DLC packs. Also it says pack, and 1 map doesn't make a pack. So either A) There is another DLC pack we don't know about We are missing some strings and therefore we can't see 6, this could be it since there is no DLC 1-4 Haha, perhaps. I don't go by "Flammenwerfer" there. And I'm not quite sure. I mean, Activision would see a rather large backlash if they counted a DLC pack out of the Season Pass. -

Ah, so you came here after all. By the way, "DLC 5"/DLC 1 = Nuketown Zombies. -
In Kino and Ascension, there are fire traps that can kill zombies instantly, yet in Green Run, the zombies can survive walking on LAVA, and even catching on fire. How is this possible? Did Richtofen make the zombies stronger? Or just an oversight?

Galil / Lamentation reticle easter egg
Flammenwerfer replied to leoguy115's topic in General Zombies Discussion
Well all guns that get the Red Dot Sight get a random reticle, including that. In fact, the custom reticles are completely different than the ones in multiplayer! -
Nice idea, but you should change the title of this thread so that people aren't mislead, thinking you have news about DLC.

Pretty sure this is fake but can anyone PROVE it's fake
Flammenwerfer replied to Chumnation's topic in TranZit
But the Death Machine isn't in Green Run. -
Go into theater and skip ahead until you open the first door. Then switch over to free roam and rewind. You can then watch the whole action unfold. Interesting! Never thought of that. :?

Flammenwerfer replied to welsh skipper88's topic in TranZit
All I want is a name of the next map! Then we can have hundreds of theories and stuffs! :3 Just like Ascension. God, that was glorious. "It's gonna be a lighthouse!" "NOPE, ROCKET BASE." "Nuh uh, Ascension Island, idiots!" Happy memories -
PerfectLemonade is a cool guy. Pretty nice. Like him. But I was looking at his signature that he's had for a long time now and I noticed something peculiar. Notice how and where the bus comes in. Normally, there would be lava there. Could this mean anything, besides leftovers of a beta? Unless I'm missing something and this is indeed how the bus comes in.

I think Maxis is a pretty cool guy. Eh wnats chagne and doesn’t afraid of anything. Really though, Maxis, because he just seems like the lesser of two evils. (Plus his EE was easier.)

Hit and Miss: Black Ops II Zombies
Flammenwerfer replied to FatedTitan's topic in General Zombies Discussion
I know, mate. I meant that I feel we'd be subconsciously comparing it to Black Ops, even if we didn't mean to. But I guess there are some things I have to say. Good: -Bus is fun to use. Nothing quite like killing zombies on the roof of a moving vehicle. -Buildables are neat to use, most particularly the Zombie Shield. -Pretty big, about 2-3 "Moon"s -Characters are likeable, as always. -It's great hearing Richtofen as the announcer -Pack-A-Punching twice! We've been wanting that for ages! -Saving things from game-to-game is terrific. Storing weapons, points, and even EE progress is astounding and something we weren't expecting! -Double Tap II is actually a perk worth getting now. -The NDU easter egg was a nice nod to the players who've been onboard since the very beginning. -No overly annoying special zombies like George or Napalm. Avogadro is easy to take out compared to these guys, and Denizens only come out in the fog. Bad: -The map isn't NEARLY as big as Treyarch and journalists hyped it up to be. It's composed of 4 NDU's (and an actual NDU ironically lol) and a quarter of Der Riese in terms of size. They made it out to be as if they were 4-5 large maps like Der Riese all connected by a road and the bus. The map is "artificially" big, as in the roads are long simply to give you that feeling that the map is huge. It's big, yes, but not HUGE like everyone before the game came out said. -Removing perks, especially Mule Kick. Treyarch, you were so happy that people loved Mule Kick so much that you put it in every map in Black Ops, then you decide to take it out? Why? -Although Denizens aren't that bad to kill, they are annoying as hell when you're traversing the fog. Yes, we were told to be cautious when entering the fog, but come on, getting head-raped by millions of these things make exploring your map to its fullest potential impossible. -PaP'ing multiple times only works on 2025 weapons, and only gives them new attachments. We were expecting a higher damage increase to help in the later rounds, but whatever. Beggers can't be choosers, right? Then again, why do we have to beg? -The Jet Gun is, well, underwhelming. It takes some time to recharge, and if you mess up with it, it scatters the parts again. Plus, we can't even upgrade it. It's a neat concept for a Wonder Weapon, but there was so much potential that went to waste for it. That's all I have to say about it for now. -

Hit and Miss: Black Ops II Zombies
Flammenwerfer replied to FatedTitan's topic in General Zombies Discussion
I think it's a little early to say if BOII Zombies is great or not. I mean, I feel like it's being compared to BO, which 1. We've spent plenty of time with compared to BOII (2 years as opposed to a month) and 2. There is no DLC for it yet. It's not "complete" unlike BO. -
Two boxes in Nuketown zombies

No, since BO. WaW didn't have Fire Sale. -
Kino 2025 for Black Ops II
Flammenwerfer replied to SoM_Pr0digY's topic in General Zombies Discussion
Shangri-La was smaller than Call of the Dead, and Nuketown Zombies is one of the smallest maps to date. -
Kino 2025 for Black Ops II
Flammenwerfer replied to SoM_Pr0digY's topic in General Zombies Discussion
My favorite map will always be Der Riese. No other map has even come close to providing that spooky atmosphere while also being a great map overall. I would LOVE LOVE LOVE for a version of Der Riese set before/on the day of the first outbreak. Seeing a bigger Der Riese that looks relatively clean would be so kickass.
