6 more weeks? Really? Why the hell is it taking so long... Ugh I hear you there. I have a widgit on my phone that tells me how many days are left until it comes out. 48...little less than 7 weeks... Just kill me now

I agree 100% with everything you have just said.

I can imagine we can close doors by buying them. Imagine training a bunch of zombies into an area with the other team, then leaving quickly and closing the doors.

Only 2 players for Tranzit mode?
Flammenwerfer replied to SirPlasticDucky's topic in General Zombies Discussion
How did you see 6? There are only 4 people in the entirety of the trailer; it even ends with a stand off with the 4. EDIT: AND, the Joystiq interview stated that there are only 4. -
Of course there will be. How else would we get weapons? Just from the box? Unless the Box spawns in the starting room we wouldn't have a weapon besides our pistol until round 5-7. Treyarch wouldn't remove a key factor like that. Wall guns are returning, I am sure of this 115%. Multiplayer engine=custom classes. Don't forget that. Just because it's in the MP engine doesn't mean custom classes will be in it. Then again, in the trailer we see the characters get off the bus with weapons already in their hands, so I don't really know.

What choices did we make? 0.o They meant the "choice" of doing the Easter Egg. It doesn't "transfer" over, it just gives you the insight as to why things are the way they are. At least, this is how I interpreted what they said.

You can also make out the Mystery Box light in the background.

QFT. Seriously guys. Pull yourselves together. Treyarch wouldn't let us down, especially with Carbon on their side now. They make zombies in our best interests, not just theirs. So calm down, watch the trailer another 42 times, and wait until this amazing game comes out.

If anyone actually read the article that Liam posted, you'd know that there are SEVERAL maps included on disc, and the road map we saw in the trailer is the campaign. The bus takes you from map to map. CUSTOM PRIVATE MATCHES, TOO. FINALLY I AM THE EXCITE

The main things I've noticed with the MW series and the WaW/BO series: Innovation. Back in the day we were clustered with WW2 games, so when Modern Warfare came out, it was such a breath of fresh air that everyone fell in love with it. Infinity Ward took the CoD series and showed it some innovation that it needed. However, this is also why people didn't take too kindly to WaW at first (or in some cases, at all). People didn't want to go back to WW2, they wanted something like their beloved Modern Warfare. Hell, most people only played for Zombies. Yet, it was around MW2 when people started to really hate Call of Duty as a series, saying it's losing it's innovation, that it's "the same game year after year." Treyarch took note of this, as well as taking the complains about the lack of innovation from WaW and turned it around, releasing Black Ops, a game set in the Cold War. Not many games have been set in this era, so it was refreshing, to say the least. BO introduced a lot of new, different things, like dive to prone, player customization and Wager Matches, while also taking great things from past games, like custom Killstreaks, playercards, and pro perks. Of course, by the time MW3 had came out, people had become sick of the modern shooter series, especially MW3. Why? Because it didn't introduce the innovations like BO did. They even left out cool things from BO, like Combat Training and player customization. Infinity Ward wanted to stick to the play-it-safe formula, which resulted in a game that wasn't necessarily bad, but just rather boring. We've played it before. We've played it alot. We want something fresh again, something like CoD4. We want those innovations, and Treyarch isn't afraid to give that to us. They are willing to change things for the better, and that is admirable. While IW makes games that are fun for a few months, Treyarch has managed to create games that continue to be played long after the latest MW game has come out. BO is fun, and BOII is sure to be even more. Even better, people who felt over-saturated from the MW series are now actually taking a second look at BOII. People who, in my experience, have hated CoD since day 1. Treyarch has taken the throne of Call of Duty, and it is clear that they intend to keep it. Maybe now the series won't get the hate with the rightful kings behind the wheel.

I have actually spent quite some time picturing my future class. This is what I got planned: Primary weapon: Assault Rifle (fast RPM preferably) Primary attachment(s): Millimetre Scanner w/ Quickdraw Handle Secondary weapon: lolno Secondary attachment(s): ...air? Perk 1: Hardline Perk 2: Scavenger, Cold Blooded Perk 3: Awareness, Engineer Lethal equipment: My body is my lethal "equipment" Tactical equipment: My...brain Wildcards: Perk 2 Greed, Perk 3 Greed I've always been a primary-weapon-orientated player. I rarely use my secondary and equipment anyway, so it's great that I can use these to my advantage. Also, I hope they get better names for the Perk wildcards.

Zombies release countdown and DLC news.
Flammenwerfer replied to punkrockzombie's topic in General Zombies Discussion
I can see it being a WaW style trailer. 100% not a BTS trailer. -
It's simple, really. It's just "12" in different languages. ١٢ = 12 Eastern Arabic ԺԲ = DP Armenian ιβʹ = 12 Greek ΔΙΙ = Don't quite know יב = Hebrew 12 १२ = 12 Hybri ௧௨ = 12 Tamil Digits Ⅻ = 12, Roman Numerals ๑๒ = 12 Thai Digits ൧൨ = 12 Malayalam 12 = 12 (this one I'm not too sure about...) So yeah, 12 hours from that twitter post we will get our trailer!

Aha no problem! And yeah, it seems like the most logical explanation. Since I'm getting the Hardened edition, I'm totally okay with a super huge map and Nuketown Zombies with a campaign than simply three maps.

Avenged Sevenfold - Carry On
Flammenwerfer replied to LiamFTWinter's topic in General Zombies Discussion
I just want to remind everyone that Nightmare was not created for Zombies, but instead was made far prior to the release of Moon. It is simply an Easter Egg and does not reflect the Zombies canon in any way. I'm not implying anything, just want to throw this out there. -
Yes!!! I can see it now: You start off in a plane, until something happens (the pilot turns into a zombie/plane gets hit by a meteorite of 115) and you crash into NDU. The meteor turns the dead Nazis around the bunker into zombies and they start to swarm you. That's all I got so far but that would be terrific. SHUT UP AND TAKE MY MONEY 3ARC! In all seriousness though, I hope the campaign is real.
-
I'm gonna guess three maps in total: "The Map" which is also the map in the Preview Nuketown Zombies Super secret map for beating the campaign HOWEVER, take into the account the rumoured zombies campaign. If this proves to be true, then it could be we get the first two maps and the campaign instead. A lot of time would have to go into that, so it would be reasonable in my opinion.
-
If im right, you're hoping that the campaign starts off on NDU, and walks through every single WaW-BO map (NDU till Moon?) in chronological order? Now THAT would be epic. In that case, it would use the story we already (vaguely) know, and the maps we all played on, but in a campaign setting. Well, that would be awesome too! But I was going for a story that's set around the Marines.

New Zombie screenshot finds!
Flammenwerfer replied to crazy skillz's topic in General Zombies Discussion
My point is why is there a zombie trying to get into the bus if that zombie wants to get out? Obviously there's nothing in that bus for that zombie or else it wouldn't leave. Perhaps...the zombies will attack the bus, even if you're not in it? -

Um, guys... Why is there a zombie breaking into the bus while another zombie is breaking...out? -
Avenged Sevenfold - Carry On
Flammenwerfer replied to LiamFTWinter's topic in General Zombies Discussion
I really liked how they included Nightmare in Moon just for fun. Was a nice touch. Anyway, I'd be good with either this song or an Elena song as the EE, I'd just like the A7X one "a little" better. ;) -
Something about that woman...
Flammenwerfer replied to Stop Mocking Me0's topic in General Zombies Discussion
I'm still thinking she's a new character altogether. It seems like the most logical reason.
