Honestly, I think they should. They've dug themselves into so many deep holes that I'm not sure that even they know where to begin. They've rarely answered questions and instead just raise more with each map. If they do decide to just have a clean slate, then maybe do things like Extinction to an extent, with various Intel scattered across the map (like the radios in Der Riese, except accessible outside of the game).

Ah, right, I knew of that. I was just wondering if there were any strong hints at Nuketown being used as such a facility.

So, the following achievements have been sighted on Xbox.com in preparation for the Nemesis launch on August 5th. Mass Exodus - Complete the final Ancestor encounter in Regular/Hardcore difficulty. (30G) Unstoppable - Complete the final Ancestor with at least 1 Relic in Regular/Hardcore difficulty. (30G) Nemesis Completionist - Complete every challenge and the final Ancestor encounter in Regular/Hardcore difficulty. (30G) The Final Chapter - Find all 7 story related intel files in Exodus. (20G) Postmaster - Complete any outpost by activating all of the generators in Regular/Hardcore difficulty. (20G) Eggstra Nemesis! - Complete the Egg-stra XP challenge and then activate a generator in the Nemesis DLC package. (20G) Timing is Everything - Kill the final 3 Ancestors within 10 seconds of killing the first Ancestor in Regular/Hardcore. (30G) Always Hard - Kill the final Ancestor with a relic active in Hardcore difficulty. (30G) Hat Trick - Kill 3 aliens with a single shot from the NX-1 Disruptor in Regular/Hardcore difficulty. (30G) Secret Achievement - ??? (??G) So, from all this, we can gather the following info: -Generators are the new Hives/Obelisks. Wonder what they accomplish in the map. -Ancestors will be a sort of mini-boss, with a final Ancestor battle occurring at the end of the chapter. -"Outposts" are in the map. Nothing else is known about them, or their functions. -New weapon known as the NX-1 Disruptor. Could either be a new Wonder-type Weapon like the Venom-X, or something else like the Vanguard. Source

It's definitely not the "last" chapter of Extinction. Maybe for this dlc season, sure, but not forever. Although, the setting for Exodus does seem somewhat anti-climatic. I really hope they make it work. Awakening had a great setting but "meh" ending.

I haven't really looked at it in that way, actually. However, there are multiple games, including the STALKER series, that revolve around the Cherynobyl incident, and I don't see how a CoD: Zombies map based on it could be more "offensive" than those other games.
