  1. Why would an assault rifle become an LMG? Seems too good in my opinion.
  2. Not entirely true. The side quest technically ends when you get the achievement, and you can still play after that. The game ends when you enter the portal, which was the reward for completing the side quest.
  3. As most of you know, TranZit, Die Rise, and Buried all feature a Weapons Locker, or "Fridge", which allows you to store a weapon for use in future games and different maps. However, some of these weapons are map-specific, and will convert to a different weapon if used on a different map. This is a guide on what weapon converts to what. Please note that Pack-a-Punched weapons will also convert to their Pack-a-Punched counterparts. Also note that if a weapon is converted and then placed in the Weapon Locker again, it will retain its conversion and will not convert back to its previous form in other maps. PDW-57 from Die Rise/Buried = Chicom-CQB in TranZit AN-94 from Die Rise/Buried = Galil in TranZit SVU-AS from Die Rise/Buried = FAL in TranZit / Remington New Model Army from Buried = Python* in TranZit/Die Rise LSAT from Buried = HAMR in TranZit/Die Rise Python from TranZit/Die Rise = Remington New Model Army* in Buried RPD from TranZit/Die Rise = Galil in Buried M8A1 from TranZit/Die Rise = MTAR in Buried *= The Python and Remington New Model Army will not be permanently changed once taken out, as the Python is not found in regular gameplay in Buried, and the Remington New Model Army is not found in regular gameplay in TranZit or Die Rise.
  4. Like, in the same game? No. For example, the Maxis Drone disappears if I recall correctly. If you mean in separate games, then yes, you definitely can.
  5. No, there is no current way of slowing down the robots. There is a pattern (most of the time) to which what robot walks when, and if all three are scheduled to walk at the same time, but it seems to change every game or so.
  6. I once accidentally traded out my Boomhilda for a regular Mauser, thinking it would give me more ammo. Needless to say, I just Pack-a-Punched it again, so I guess it wasn't a total fail.
  7. If that were the case, then why didn't the loading screen have that blueprint in it?
  8. Don't tell me you watched the Jimbothy video and took it as true...
  9. I don't think so, considering you have to kill the other players. :P
  10. This is a fantastic guide! Stickied. :)

Well then how are the generators excavating the 115? It's clear that there is some 115 found underground, or else there wouldn't be an excavation site to begin with. Perhaps a a large meteorite crashed there in ancient times, thus gradually going underneath the Earth over time.
  12. That is very strange. Now, I take it you control a crawler while doing this step, correct? If so, try starting a new round and go into the giants. That might solve your problem.
  13. Do you still require a golden shovel, or can this be done with the regular shovel?

This is what I believe, as well. I don't think it needs a generator because it already has the energy it needs.
  15. Quick question: did you remember to place the Fire Staff in the pedestal in the excavation site? That's the only thing I could think of that would cause that problem. You have to put the three staffs into the giants, and then the Fire Staff into the pedestal in the site.
  16. Sorry, that's what I meant. If I recall correctly, the unlimited Templar headshots do not count towards the reward, as they aren't classified as "regular" zombie headshots. I could be wrong, though.
  17. They do not, no. The unlimited Templars are exempt from all stats as far as I know.
  18. The reason why Nikolai isn't obsessed with vodka and Richtofen wasn't crazy is because this was before the crew was tested on, and before Richtofen fully embraced his insanity. I personally love that they are how they are in this map, because it shows how they really were before the zombies came to be. Know your CoD Zombies lore, people! On topic: The only thing I really dislike about this map is that damn Panzer Soldat. It's a game ender most of the time, even when you're not playing with randoms.
  19. I am 110% certain that Zombies will return, whether it be a continuation of Sam and Eddie's story or a tale of an actual zombie apocalypse. If it's not Zombies, I'm sure that a very similar game mode *cough*Aliens*cough* will surface.
  20. It really depends on the randoms you find. For instance, I completed every Black Ops side quest starting at Call of the Dead with randoms. Most of the time, you get the squeakers or the people without mics, but other times, you can be lucky and find people who can actually help. At least, that's how it was back then. Nowadays, players like to either not talk, stay in lobbies and not ready up, or just be plain bad at the game. But yes, the Teammate Finder is definitely a great place to look for other players, especially for the Black Ops II side quests.
  21. Hmm, sadly, I cannot seem to find it either. I'm guessing Treyarch just felt that there was no need to release it at this time, seeing as how they haven't mentioned anything about its omission from the recent Zombie albums.
  22. Technically speaking, I found the Persistent Jug upgrade to be the most helpful. Anything that extends your health is a literal lifesaver in zombies, thus making it the most helpful, albeit lowering the difficulty of the maps. Also, I am happy that I didn't have to unleash the hounds on you...yet.
  23. Sadly, most of the maps in Black Ops II offered very little storywise. The main thing to happen was seeing Richtofen's role as the zombie controller, and the beginnings our the O4. Unfortunately, maps like Die Rise and TranZit offered almost nothing to be gained from the story, which really hurt the N4's reputation, I feel.
  24. Yeah, the revive achievement was very vague. I initially thought it was Normal Revive, Krauss Revive, Zombie Blood Revive and Staff Revive. But no, it's Quick Revive and Maxis Drone revive instead. I am definitely not a fan of ambiguous achievement descriptions. :?
  25. The Ray Gun Mark II is one of the best weapons in terms of consistent damage. That thing can rip apart zombies like there's no tomorrow, even in the high rounds. Also, I've been wanting a fire-based Wonder Weapon for a long time now, and with Origins, I have finally been able to get it. The Staff of Fire is amazing and I try to get it every game because I love it so much. PS Just a heads up. You're gonna get some people up in arms over having weapons like the Jet Gun and Blundergat being classified as Wonder Weapons. Personally, I believe any special weapon that isn't bullet based and is not found in standard CoD gameplay to be a Wonder Weapon, but some others don't share that point of view.
