  1. Who said they would have equal stats? Maybe Tank has speed on his side, Nikolai has brute force, Takeo has a balance, and Richtofen... can't come up with anything for the saw. Unequal stats cause players to quit out of games until they get the character with the stat they want. This just wouldn't be a very good idea in the long run.
  2. The only problem I see with the character-specific melee weapons is that they'd all have good range except for Tank, who only has a knife. That would make him statistically the weakest character, as opposed to everyone being equal. I am, however, happy to see the Remington New Model return.
  3. Perhaps that man is Dr. Ludvig Maxis Sr., and the Maxis we know is the younger Ludvig Maxis Jr.? That's the only explanation I can give before we play this map.
  4. "No-Man's Land" was a term for the large fields between trenches in World War 1. If you entered No-Man's Land, there was a really good chance that you would be shot and killed due to the lack of any solid cover. Since we'll be traversing the map on a tank, I would assume these areas would be similar to the roads in TranZit, albeit without the Denizens.
  5. I say get it. If you like killing zombies, then I recommend buying Vengeance. Buried might not have the best map, but it's still enjoyable and fun to play.
  6. I don't know about being a boss zombie, but I do agree with the latter half of your idea.
  7. I doubt it's the EE song. It's most likely a song for the intro akin to the song in CotD's intro. Still, this is awesome and I love it.
  8. Richtofen was crazy without Maxis... Really. He seemed quite...normal before the MPD incident.
  9. Apparently, Treyarch is going to upload the cinematic intro next week with Avenged Sevenfold's new song. EXCITED.
  10. I do support this idea of "breaking the cycle". My theory is that we have to kill Maxis. Without Maxis, Richtofen would (most likely) not turn crazy like he did in our current timeline.
  11. Just because the studio was founded in 1996 doesn't mean that we can just toss the theory out of the window. The fact is that the poster says "Since 1996" and appears in the map. Thus, it is impossible for the map to take place any earlier than this. That is fact. The 2025+ is a theory, but that's it.
  12. No sir, that is an AK47. And yes, it is in the realm of possibility, but it doesn't really make sense. Why would hundreds of their dead bodies be in a theatre some 50 years into the future? Could their bodies fit in there? How were the bodies excavated from their iron armours? Too many questions.
  13. The only time I've ever really used the bank was for Side Quest set up. Other than that, all it was was an "objective" of sorts. I would hoard money as much as I could, and then attempt to deposit it all before the game ended. Not a super difficult challenge, but it did give me something to do. Now, my bank is filled up. Anyway, I don't really seem the harm in it. It's not as game-changing as you think. Like you said, it makes it easier to set up. Is that really a bad thing? I mean, we would have had our setups anyway at one round or another. Besides, if you have amazing guns the like the Mark II, and have your ideal setup on the earlier rounds, the waves go by quicker than anything. This effectively leaves you at the round at which you would have most likely got set up in the first place without the bank.
  14. There's mods for that. True, but it just seems off. Texture issues and whatnot. Anyway, I'm not too sure about this. Maybe the connection is just because we're looking at their faces behind glass? Other than that, I don't see much of a resemblance.
  15. Sorry to be off-topic, but...how do you have an AK-47 in Kino Der Toten...?
  16. There is no search bar on the Index page. You can only search within individual forums or threads.
  17. Yeah, the power needs to be turned on before the stones are raised in Shangri-La.
  18. I'm gonna state the obvious and ask for the damn Trench Gun back. I mean, it makes sense, right? We're in trenches, the gun was made for trench warfare...it would be stupid NOT to include it! Plus I miss the Gut Shot.
  19. Hmm, maybe it's part of the character model. It does look like a pack of explosives though, which would be pretty neat in my opinion. You could potentially take out a crowd of zombies by killing one strapped with an IED.
  20. Ah, that would be horrible! You know, it's never occurred to me that the PaP would need power. In all of the other maps, we already need the power turned on for other reasons before we access the PaP or the machine itself is already turned on. Very strange indeed.
  21. I killed them with the PDW. I had to reload as I stepped out of the hallway while a ghost came at me so I had to retreat backward. That was the most intense thing ever because she was centimetres from taking my points.
  22. Haha, thanks! I was literally sweating when I got to the mansion. I was so worried, and I almost got hit by one of the ghost gals.
  23. No, it should not be needed. That guide is a tad bit outdated.
  24. Whew! Just got it! Thanks Way! Now I have my 100% completion back (for the time being )!
  25. Yes, Albert mentioned the name while using the Ray Gun. However, we don't know what the connection is, if there even is one at all.
