  1. They removed Double Tap in Ascension.
  2. He, or rather his source, got the warden idea right, the Purgatory system, the idea of four actors portraying characters, escaping the island via plane, the electric chairs on the Golden Gate Bridge, the flaming tomahawk, the Blundergat, and the AK47, just to name what I can remember. He uploaded a video with real info on April 1st to try passing it as an April Fool's joke, but it was taken down by Activision a couple days later.
  3. I know what you're thinking. "Flammenwerfer, that's just a rumor! Quick Revive HAS to come back!" Well, I don't think that's the case. Plus, I have "proof", or at least, I think I do. This image can be seen on the Solo Leaderboards for Mob of the Dead, or Alcatraz Island. As you can see, the Activision employee nerf war crazy has 3 downs...but no revives. How can this be? We know that if we play Solo, and if we use Quick Revive, we get a revive when we are revived by the perk. Yet, this guy only has downs. If Quick Revive were to return, then this man should have at least 2 revives. What I'm thinking is that in Purgatory, we can revive ourselves, but we only have a set time to do so. However, in Solo, we only get three Purgatory "tokens" to use. Also, when we revive ourselves, it doesn't count as a revive. What do you all think of this?
  4. I don't want to see a small map. I want this to be a huge area, with a lot of places to go and discover. I'm a tad worried that it will be small, though, due to the fact that they've shown us the same areas with every reveal. Hopefully I'm wrong and they're just being secretive as always. I also don't want to the boss to be too difficult to take down. George was okay, but in the long run, he was a pain to deal with.
  5. I'm sure he knows about Henry Langham. Everyone on CoDZ knows about that. But the fact is Ziggy is right, everything Benn and the rest of PTG has said about Mob of the Dead is true. Yes, Benn isn't a great person, but he's gotten things right about this. I'm not defending Benn, just stating the facts.
  6. His name is Arthur Arlington, not Al. :|
  7. Hmm...I have a feeling that "Pop Goes the Weasel" is our new Side Quest achievement...
  8. And thank you for supporting us. But yes, everyone, send us your submissions! :D
  9. Well, by that logic, we shouldn't have the perk machines either. :|
  10. Most probably for the Blundergat. Maybe it turns it into the "Acidgat" or something.
  11. It's definitely a weapon you can pick up. Remember in Moon when the QED would spawn weapons? Looked like that, except in a green hue.
  12. Personally, I think the cycle is... 1. Build the plane. 2. Escape to the bridge. 3. Use the electric chairs to access Purgatory. 4. Respawn back on the island. Then, we have to do that twice more for the achievement. Also, breaking the cycle could be a number of things. Maybe we have to die on the bridge? Maybe we have to die while making the plane?
  13. Charlie Intel managed to get some images of it! Source: http://www.charlieintel.com/2013/04/05/ ... -gamestop/
  14. Perhaps we'll see another power shift in this side quest then? Very interesting.
  15. Hooray! It's a damn shame that there hasn't been any updated Survival maps though. I kinda like the small spaces now.
  16. I still firmly believe that the plane will only go as far as the bridge. The electric chairs are located on it, so it would be safe to assume that it is a playable area. Not to mention the ramp on the roof points at said bridge.
  17. If that was the case, perhaps he is stuck in a sort of limbo between the living world and the Purgatory world, and has gained special powers because of it? For example: he has the ability to turn off the perk machines, whereas the players have the ability to turn on the perk machines in Purgatory.
  18. Die Rise was just a pun on highrise and nothing more. It wasn't supposed to resemble Der Riese. Anyway, at the end of the day, the names ultimately mean nothing. It's what's inside the map that matter.
  19. There's only one date we should care about right now and that's April 16th, 2013.
  20. Well, I just tried "zombie" which was just gibberish.
  21. Hahaha, I love that trailer. It's a shame that it made a crazy rumour go around with that Denizen sound bit at the end.
  22. I have a feeling that there's a set time limit you can be in Purgatory for, and within that time limit, you can do things like turn on the perk machines. Then, if you revive yourself within that timeframe, you get all your perks back and things are as if nothing happened to you. If you don't revive yourself, then you die and lose your stuff.
  23. Maybe he's the demon dog head. Seriously, though, good job finding these. Except, you seem to have forgotten a character. :P
  24. I highly doubt that using the plane will end the game. It'll probably just crash somewhere, like the bridge, and you get stranded there.
  25. That's not "real" Latin, sorry to say. Rather, that is just "filler Latin" or "lorem ipsum." It's just there as a placeholder for future text.
