Well,you know in the ending cutscene for CoTD Romero states that he came across documents about 115. So it's not entirely impossible that he found out where some of the facillitys for group 935 were and so he might have visited Kino der Toten.

Well, the Soviet Union and Nazi Germany could have worked together on the island. But I find that highly unlikely as Im pretty sure Germany wouldnt want to share their superior technology with a nation they planned to backstab. However, the island could have been conquered by Germany and used as a base for 935. But then again im sure they would remove the soviet insignia. Or, the MDT could just have been captured/built by captured german scientists and the boat just happened to get there somehow. But yeah, the island is most likely a former base for group 935 and the soviet insignia is just a reference to Ascension.

The blank portrait uses the same model as Richtofen's does. I've been comparing them for the last twenty minutes and I've found that they are completely identical (Richtofens is a bit bigger tho). I do belive that the big picture represents Richtofen when he worked with Maxis ("Oh look, its me... but not quite as magnificent!"), and the blank portrait represents him when hes fighting together with the others (Dempsey & co). I could be completely wrong though, and they might just reused the model for the blank portrait.

Honestly,to me the First Strike maps were much better in my opinion. It's way too easy to camp on the new maps and it's more or less a race to get to the best camping spots.

Im pretty sure it's the same as with Thundergun.
