whats the requirements to getting the skulls? I've heard that you need to shock them in "Purgatory" and that you need to have gone to the Golden Gate bridge. Is there an truth in these statements?

Just a heads up this perk CAN kill zombies. Personally I have only seen it shock and "freeze" a zombie for a brief moment. Like previously stated, this is one of my last things to get in the map because of all the doors and more important perks. The reason I know it can kill is the achievement "A Burst of Flavor." The description for this is " In Mob of the Dead, kill 10 zombies at once with a new beverage." If anyone has any info on getting this acheivement I'd be extremely grateful. Also if anyone knows if this perk can turn on machines that'd be good too. I'll try a bit later on but right now I'm going to work on "Full Lockdown" and "Trapped in Time."

So me and my buddy have found quite a few spots where using a trample steam on one window gives you great spots to hold up and camp. Do you guys think this is a legit strategy? It feels as though it is, because the Tramples will eventually get beat up.

I have an idea for a sacrifice. I know in Black Ops 1 that when you were down with the Krauss Refibrillator and shoot at a teammate who's still up it will bring them down. Maybe this is a step, just throwing it out there cause I have no easter egg hunting team.

Obiviously you're hinting at the Buddah statue in the upside down half of the tower. As to where the go who knows, maybe you have to power them up such as we did with the tower in Tranzit. -
Seems legit. A few options I'd throw out there is the ray gun, the Sliquifier, and the ballistic knife. Try the Ray and Knife both upgraded and not. Maybe facing the dragon is the first step of the easter egg and this must be completed first. I'll be on tomorrow night around 8 PM eastern.

To fix this error I booted up the campaign main menu and then the multiplayer main menu. At the multiplayer menu I went into xbox live and then into the in-game store via multiplayer. The rebooted the zombies homescreen and the freezing problem stop.

I think that this has a lot to do with the new perk. To start anew would be to die and use your double in your place. When playing as your double theres a weird vison going on which may enable you to see something (lets not think "zombie vision" from CotD). You may just be able to interact with things that otherwise have no use. Possibly the whole team needs to jump off with Who's Who at the exact same time to reenact this cut scene.

I'll start off by asking; does anybody have the capability of getting high rez images of the 3 different magazines on the mag rack in Bus Depot? The interesting magazine is "Sail!" To me the cover appears to be a destroyed aircraft carrier or similar military type vessel. There is writing on all of the magazine covers, which also may be important, but I can't quite make out what they say.

I was looking into buying elite for the map packs and clicked a link on the xbox dash somewhere, the screen it took me to said choose your subscription but with only one option being Call of Duty Elite. Not saything this is confirmation but it may be implying that there will be multiple versions of CoDElite. -
Alright to start off, my laptop doesnt have sound. To me the snippets of a diner level aren't confirmed to be zombies maps. MP map, campaign map, or zombie map at this point, i see no guns on walls, no windows to board, no perks to buy, no doors to buy. Am I wrong? do they say something about it? or did we "jump" to conclusions? EDIT; grammar and structure

I agree traps should come back, its always hard for me to turn them on, i just want the points! traps really arent OP because you dont get points from them and you lose points buying them. I wouldnt mind cutscenes while opening certain doors, I believe that would let you know doors are opening, but the story really cant be told in cutscenes during gameplay. I'd like to see a long video explaining the past maps, then we find out the new story though radios, easter eggs, reels, and the whatnot just like the old formula. -
As for this 8 player thing, im not so sure its what he meant. wasnt his quote "double the zombies"? to me that means that the engine will be able to handle more zombies at once, therefore "training" will be harder but rounds wont take a hour because some jerkoff is trying to hoard the whole maps worth of zombies before wasting his precious ammo. But if it is 8 player, your idea of veruckt style split would be awesome for bigger maps, but maybe they have to keep them apart. playing with 4 players is hard enough to avoid eachothers zombie hoards, with 8 people running from zombies it would be a mixmatch of people running into one another. The only times I feel i go down nowadays is when someone crosses my path or grabs my zombies from my predicted path.

george is needed, he gives you more perks and a gun that has infinite ammo. how is it a bad thing? He gets in your way because you cant remember where he is.

Alpha, some of the stuff you post is crazy, the technology and interesting articles you find is amazing. Mechanically-enhanced zombies sounds like quite the terror. Could this be added into gameplay somehow? I'd like to say not, i would hate to have the zombies equation messed with and to have bullets flying back at me. I feel unworthy of posting in any topic Alpha speaks in.

This would be great somethings I'd like to see -less health for player (one hit-3 juggs), zombie less health (real bullet penetration, headshot or nothing) -Knifing cuts off heads -No zombie limit(if possible) -No boards -No Hud -Start with more zombies and more money

If the dont include them then i say let bygones be bygones. 10 maps is lot, I'd like to see the team working on other things. New maps, more guns, better or more perks, a better hit detection system. I personally am 21, been playing since I beat the campaign on WaW and downloaded veruckt and every other DLC even though I dont play multiplayer. I like how the old maps in the Black Ops edition but it wasnt something that I thought was necessary. Simple as changing a disc. I think, if they do include old maps, add them later in a DLC or give them free to those who already have them. No thought on Elite since i refuse to learn anything about it until its confirmed zombies will be effected by not having it.

I'm bringing this back up. I've been in the story for a while. your answer was brief and quite dumbed down. As I understand the theory is that the 3 missiles were sent to destroy mass populations of zombies, well that means that it would be no secret to the world that there is an outbreak of freakbags. Unless Moon is way after CotD i don't see how these events can match up. heres a few facts this is based on -there is multiple type zombies, American zombies (Washington D.C. and Area 51), Nazi zombies (Nacht, Veruckt, Der Reise, Berlin), Russian zombies(Cosmodrome), Japanese zombies and Tibetan zombies. -I know the whole story to zombies, been a lurker since the first MP for black ops, bought all maps in WaW -is CotD hinting at a parallel universe?

All this hate, why? L4D is nothing like our zombies story, as explained to me this isnt a full outbreak, but a controlled zombie force. Story mode should be in it, seeing as how this thread hasnt been taking off as "leaked info." Question is how does Treyarch implement a story line into the zombie mode? -Campaign- im highly doubtful it will be in a "campaign" style -Reg Zombs- finish a few rounds, move to the next level, seems to be most logical and wanted -Some sort of the new "sandbox" type of deal, pick which map to go to and accomplish a list of goals in order to pass Those are 3 of my theories on story mode, lets hear a few others -
