New breakthrough in SNN location! [UPDATE]
MysteryMachineX replied to Matuzz's topic in General Zombies Discussion
Sure, that makes sense. But the hyena is an outlier. When your data consist of one point on the regression line and one point far off of it, it isn't very reliable data. The hyena raises too many questions. -

But if the hyena is for ambience, that implies that the bird was too. You can try to say that the bird is different, and that it represents where they came from, but there's no support for that other than gut feeling. -

That's a valid point; you can't just invalidate it. It is a geniune hyena. You may believe it a misnomer, but we can't be sure. It's not even likely; it could go either way. Since we don't know whether to discount it or not (discount the hyena file while maintaining the bird file is a biiit selective), it should all be discounted altogether. And H.Yena wasn't even really thought of at the time. It's a hyena yelling, not a reference to a scientist. -

That's my point. -
New breakthrough in SNN location! [UPDATE]
MysteryMachineX replied to Matuzz's topic in General Zombies Discussion
Aw, that's disappointing, well it was a nice try guys. Since hyenas are only found in Africa and the Middle East, it isn't native to Shi No Numa. And if it isn't native, then the bird might not be either. So, we're back to not knowing exactly where it takes place. -
What makes a person a "Pro"?
MysteryMachineX replied to yellow-card8's topic in General Zombies Discussion
Sorry, I didn't mean that they often let them die, as in more often than not. I just mean that it happens often enough, not more than not. My bad. -
What makes a person a "Pro"?
MysteryMachineX replied to yellow-card8's topic in General Zombies Discussion
But that's in an ideal situation. If me and a buddy are doing great, and he goes down, I have a fair chance of being able to revive him. However, things aren't always ideal. If something went wrong and we are winging it until we can get back to our places, it may be a little more difficult to revive. But also consider that you may not have room nor supplies to lead the horde far away enough. Also, if a player dies is a no-no zone, that is, a place I never go to by myself, much less to try to revive someone, I'm not going to risk the game on getting them out of a place they shouldn't have been in the first place. Disregard for reviving teammates entirely is bad, of course. I just think that reviving should not be factored into a pro player. A pro player might have to let you die, but, if he is a pro, he will help you get back on your feet the next Round. Lol. -
New breakthrough in SNN location! [UPDATE]

I suppose they could be referring to the military and not Japan itself though... That leaves us with 2 possibilities then. Yes, but I'm inclined to agree with the OP more than this. New Guinea IS Japan to Tank, just like Alaska is the United States to us. Whoever the national owner of the land makes the land considered to be theirs. If I said I went to America, even if it is Hawaii, I'd still have been to America. Same concept could apply here. Nice find, btw :) -
Oh, well... good luck with that! Solo on Call of the Dead is tough, to the point where I would just prefer to play with 2 people The highest I've gotten on Call of the Dead Solo was Round 44. I had the V-R11 Lazarus and Hyena Infra-Dead. (This was before Mule Kick) I died because I ran out of ammo.
-
That's why you don't use the AK74fu2. You have to use the V-R11 Lazarus at the high rounds of Call of the Dead. Have the other player (you must have one) shoot you with it, and then you use an explosive weapon to wipe out the horde. You must just run close circles so that you can do that every 24 zombies. This strategy can get people to at least Round 70. (It should work forever.)

Something interesting in this article....
MysteryMachineX replied to ZombieOfTheDead's topic in General Zombies Discussion
Well the fact that you can get the Wunderwaffe in Shi No Numa AND Der Riese shows there is more than one. Not to mention in the iPhone, using that Easter Egg, you can get two. So, while the Wunderwaffes were never mass produced, there were still a few. And apparently one was Peter's. -
A treatise on the first 10 rounds
MysteryMachineX replied to aegisknight's topic in General Zombies Discussion
Pffft, Atlantis is easy. Just shoot all three golden pillars three times with a sniper, spin around two times, and stab all of your teammates and then you can buy the Ray Gun off the wall for 10 points. But you have to have the Easter Egg Achievements for CotD, Shangri-La, and Moon! -
What makes a person a "Pro"?
MysteryMachineX replied to yellow-card8's topic in General Zombies Discussion
A "pro" is someone who can get to really high rounds, legitimately. Since the entire point of the game is to get high rounds, any other factor is a secondary consideration really. A pro is not someone who revives often. The best players often have to leave people to die, and that's a decision a pro would have to make: risk the the game, or save the teammate. The decision depends on the situation. Kiting/circling/looping is acceptable, as it is the only way to get to the highest rounds in Zombies. To say that anyone can do it is false. Not just anyone can do it, and very few people can do it sustainably into the high rounds, as in, they can only do it for a couple or so. To dislike circling because it gives high rounds is akin to disliking medicine because it gets people to high ages. -
The most Random theory you've ever heard
MysteryMachineX replied to MyLittleHellhound's topic in General Zombies Discussion
Interesting. Nice spin on typical theories, whereas yours seems to be more biological. Good job :D -
Hey, Duck, I mentioned this on your other site quiiiite a while ago, but here's just something I thought I'd add. As I pointed out, your Zombie formula was incorrect. I don't know if you've fixed this since then. As we know, the first 10 rounds are not determined by formula but instead by preset numbers. I have four formulas for the Zombie count, but they aren't perfect. All I was able to do was to get my points and plot them, followed by statistical curve fitting. On the bright side, it is accurate. Unfortunately, due to roundoff error, it is only accurate to about round 100. Also, it is four separate formulas, because I could not successfully merge the four two-variable functions into a single three-variable function. Z1=1-Player Z2=2-Players Z3=3-Players Z4=4-Players x=Round Z1=0.09x^2+0.0081x+23.388 Z2=0.1798x^2+0.0232x+23.214 Z3=0.3599x^2+0.0205x+23.213 Z4=0.5398x^2+0.0242x+23.187

The rockets hit the Earth. Huge cataclysms were created, a huge hole in the Earth. Many more surrounding it. Debris was in the air. Life as we knew it had ended. All that remained were Zombies. "Holy crap. All that work and all we did was blow up the Earth? What the...," Tank said. "Ha! Ninth wife was killed when I blew up the Earth! I can't top that!" Nikolai interjected. "I promised I would destroy every last remnant of 935!" Takeo mused. "I want my body back, and I will make that evil Richtofen PAY for what he has done!" Samantha screamed. Hours went by. The four fought against the Zombies, using all of their might, all of their gunpowder, and all of their cunning against the undead. They fought relentlessly against the Zombie hordes, with the occasional crawler break, managing their points wisely. And then. Tank killed the last Zombie on the Moon. "Ah ha! Take that, meatsack! Wait a minute. Was that the end of the Round?" "Then why has the next Round not begun?" answered Takeo. "Vodka!" said Nikolai. "I think that was the last toy," said the creepy Samantha, inside Richtofen's discarded body. "Wait, was that the last Zombie? Are we done? How could that be?" Tank asked. "Simple. We are on the Moon. The only dead that can possibly rise here are the dead members of Griffin Station. We just killed last one," said Takeo, wisely. "What do we do now?" asked Nikolai. "Well we can't go back to Earth as it is," answered Tank. "Then I guess we will stay right here," said Samantha. "We have no choice," Takeo said. --- *Montage Music plays* --- "Seriously. Seriously, Maxis? I thought I deleted you!" yelled Richtofen. "Sorry, Richtofen. They restored me with three games of Simon Says," echoed the Maxis A.I. "Curse that addicting game! Well you already ruined my plans. If you don't mind, I'm not going to bother with you guys. Rot your lives away here. I'm gonna play with my minions," replied Richtofen. --- "So, Sam, what's for dinner tonight?" Tank said. "DO YOU THINK THAT JUST BECAUSE I AM A GIRL THAT I WILL COOK FOR YOU?!!! Okay," said Samantha. Later, she comes back. "We have Zombie STEAK with a side of Biodome leaves. Do you want yours normal or Phasing?" Samantha said. "I'll pass," Tank said. "There's nothing else," Takeo replied, looking at his plate. Nikolai scarfed down his meal. --- "Move Queen to B4," said the Maxis A.I, "Checkmate." "Very good, Doctor," said Takeo. "Not bad yourself. I should never have let Edward torture you." --- "NO NO NO NO NOOO NOOOOO!" screamed Nikolai. "Poor Nikky, what's the problem?" asked Takeo. "I hate you!" Nikolai replied. "Just tell me Nikolai," Takeo said. "I am out of vodka," Nikolai said. "Did you check the reserves?" Tank said. "There are none!" Nikolai said. "Crap, man," Tank said. --- "No no no no no NO!!!! It did not say 'Simon Says'!" yelled Samantha. "This one doesn't work like tha-" Tank said. "Well you try!" Nikolai interrupted. --- "Dempsey, I'm heading over to the Receiving Bay for quick nap. Watch these two," Takeo said. "No prob, Tak. Don't forget your helmet when going through Tunnel 6," Tank said. --- "Guys guys guys! Deadshot Daiquiri has alcohol in it!!! I can get drunk again!" Nikolai hollered. --- Samantha just returned from a good slay-fest at No Man's Land. "The PM63 room is MINE!!! I will decorate it with these guys' heads." She was carrying Zombie skulls. --- Takeo looks up at Earth. "Hey guys, I think the world's gravity is giving in. Earth's getting bigger." Tank said, "Woah, would you look at that. Pretty fast too. Woah. You see that? Woah. Bigger. Faster. Oh no. OHHH NNN-" The End? *Happy music plays.*

Additional Kino Easter Eggs on Wii version
MysteryMachineX replied to MixMasterNut's topic in Kino Der Toten
Yeah... I thought this thread was going to be a breather, but I've already seen this video. Was I hoping was that someone could transcribe this, someone who has a Wii. I don't, and can't. But the guy who made the video was kind enough to show us, but not enough to hear the whole message. So someone would have to play it and write it down. (Although a recording middle-man-step would be simpler.) Anyone willing to do that? EDIT: Crap, crap, crap. Sorry. I didn't see your post about you actually doing it. Thanks :D -
How to be a Good Zombies Player
MysteryMachineX replied to Ehjookayted's topic in General Zombies Discussion
Actually, that's incorrect. There are 24 Zombies no matter how many players. Here's a simple test so you can believe me. Play Der Riese with 2 players. Run a circle in Der Riese by Teleporter C. Have your buddy run a circle in the Thompson room with the stairs closed. Then try this strategy by yourself, running alone in the Teleporter C area. When you play with two people, you will each get 12 Zombies, more or less (they are not evenly distributed). When playing Solo, you will get 24 Zombies, which makes this strategy overwhelming, and die. -
What's your worst habit in zombies?
MysteryMachineX replied to Superhands's topic in General Zombies Discussion
I always feel like I have to use an entire magazine before I reload. Mind you I reload at any time so I have a full magazine at any time, but if I'm just unloading at a horde, I feel like I have to unload the whole magazine so I can reload as I resume running. Sometimes I wait too long as a result... -
My 4 Most Hated Type of Zombie players
MysteryMachineX replied to jokrAzrael's topic in General Zombies Discussion
Tell me about it. I also came from the Call of Duty forums. The Modern Warfare 3 upgrade killed the place! -
Sure thing. Thank you EDIT: May I ask what are the rules for signatures? I can't seem to find them anywhere.

Oh good. I just need to finish the Strategies section, the Storyline section, and the DS section. The expert I tried to recruit for the DS section still hasn't gotten back to me...

Hello. I am MurderMachineX. Not to try to sound conceited, but I believe I am quite knowledgeable about Zombies, and it's my all-time favorite video game. Throughout my Zombie research, I have stumbled across this site a few times, but now I've decided to see if I can attempt communication. The main thing in which I am interested at the moment is the Zombie storyline. I have a fairly long storyline myself with documentation that does NOT match a lot of what is posted here. So I figured I'd join and see what I can or cannot learn. I'm not really good at introduction threads...
