Nearly all of the characters break the wall in some fashion. All of the original characters talk about Facebook. Takeo makes many cultural references he shouldn't know about. JFK references his own assassination. Maybe Misty is JFK's daughter?

I'm not sure what to make of him. At least someone can make something out of him.

Help with understanding the story
MysteryMachineX replied to merlinthecat's topic in Story Discussion
It's a possibility with really NO evidence just conjecture, but one of the last things the Vril-Ya did was make a machine that was a gateway to another dimension that just happened to have Lucifer residing it. Perhaps he killed them all. Or perhaps they went to the other dimension and then became Lucifer. It's possible, that's all I'm saying. -
It's not that there wasn't a tectonic shift. It's just that there was a one so small it cannot visually be seen. We can look at the Earth and see everything is in its right place. So, the tectonic shift didn't move anything out of place. However, it was still probably the most violent geological event to ever occur to mankind.

Thanks Delta. I just think the repeating verse about running fits perfectly. I mean, what other than a ghost can be running from something that you're coming from and you're becoming one? You used to exist. You don't want to exist. Yet, you are now beginning to exist.

Lol Guy 1: "Hey, wanna play some Zombies?" Guy 2: "No, I can't. I'm gonna play a first-room challenge later this week."
-
Huh. Not very useful though now that we have the Mark II.

The idea of a location in the Earth's core, however, is complete unrealistic. It's more likely a layer of habitats deep within the Earth, but not all the way to the core.

I heard that this was a hoax.

I think that is how she survives. I mean, she certainly isn't eating vegetables. But, if you saw my song analysis, I believe (and its purely conjectural) that she doesn't realize she's hurting you.

Welcome to CoDz! Unfortunately, I find your theory highly disagreeable. Here's why: No religious connotations? What about the three-headed dog? A reference to Cerberus? What about the Native American references with the eye of Afterlife? Mictlantecuhtli? Hades? 666? The satanism? I'm sorry, but I disagree. There's a lot of religious references. Now, I'm not saying the entity is religious in any nature, but the references exist. I appreciate you using the term Lucifer. It's just a name though. Call him whatever you will. But still. Anyway, you are correct as far as I am aware on that. Um... I don't understand what you're going at. Yes, there's a weird time thing, a bubble you could call it. But how does that mean this has nothing to do with the storyline? In this storyline, time gets mangled. This is simply another instance of it. PlayTheGame translated ciphers that revealed that Al was a comic book artist back before Alcatraz, when he was in the hospital. So, his comic books are not just a result of multiple personalities. Al is Al. The Editor is simply that, an editor. He is the man who scribbled nasty things all over the comic book, whose pieces you can find throughout the map. Are you supposing that Al, the Editor, and Lucifer are all one entity? That seems quite an awful stretch. But Maxis wasn't but a teenager at that time. Sorry, but I really disagree with your whole theory. I think the editor is literally just an editor, that a deeper meaning simply does not exist. Take it at face value. Treyarch is not affiliated with Benn from PlayTheGame in any shape, creed, or form. Any information given by Benn is one accumulated from the people he represents or from pure guesswork, no matter how educated. Treyarch is not affiliated with those who call their lead designers f[bleep]ing retards. Just a word of advice. Sometimes PlayTheGame acts pompous. Try not to present yourself in such a way on this forum; people do not appreciate that attitude, especially when it is false. But it is good you ask for constructive criticism. I would argue PlayTheGame has a more narrow insight. They miss the trees for the forest. An imaginary one at that. And why would I dissect a fan-made video? In any case, welcome to CoDz.

Rate Black Ops II: Zombies so far.

I don't find the idea of debating for a map intriguing. I mean, I'll debate story stuff, but this really is just a matter of opinion. TranZit allows you to play on the largest map ever. For a long time, it was bigger is better. People wanted bigger and bigger maps. So, Treyarch gave it to us. There's fog? Denizens? Well of course! Did you think Treyarch was going to just set out a plane for us to run circles in? I was shocked people were shocked. People say it takes forever to get places, well that's only natural, as its a large map. But patience is a virtue, or so its said. Besides, the Bus Driver is humorous for those long lonely bus rides. I like the idea of a world of zombies. I can go down and know that there is no chance for my revival simply because of distance. Is that a bad thing? No. If I didn't accept that risk, I shouldn't have wandered off. I'm not sure what else to tell you. I like all the maps. From Nacht to 1295. -

I love TranZit. L.O.V.E. TranZit. It's a matter of opinion. And I love all the maps. Glad to see I'm not alone though guys. -
Have everyone check their world maps (on online Solo) to see if they are electrifying.

Maxis side is the real side.
MysteryMachineX replied to Dahniska's topic in General Zombies Discussion
This is possible. Just look at Mob of the Dead. There were two ways to complete the Side Mission in Mob of the Dead: you complete it right or you complete it wrong. If you complete it wrong, you continue a cycle until you complete it right. If you continue it right, you can move on. The same type of scenario could happen here. Helping Richtofen could cause some sort of cycle. Mob of the Dead showed us a way to have a two-ended Side Mission that had only ONE actual ending. -

Uggggh... I could make a long post of why I think so, but I'd give it a 10. No matter what. I love this game. I will justify a 10 with whatever it takes. So... how about I just not and you can say I did? -
Subsurface Resonator: History, Theory, Primitive Thundergun?
MysteryMachineX replied to GRILL's topic in Buried
I look forward to any findings you have. If you could check out my thread, you can see our line of reasoning on why we think Dr. H. Porter was there. So, given that, do you think H. Porter or Michael Faraday or none of the above made the Subsurface Resonator? Also, subsurface scattering is a term used often enough in the development pipeline of video games, but more so towards the end when it comes to lighting. I think the word "subsurface" could be a pun in that regard. Just a fun fact. -
I agree with this line of reasoning. These things are a work of art. They take a whole lot of resources. I mean, some things, obviously had to be contract out. The opening cinematic, for example, that went to the cinematic department. (Or whatever they happen to call it.)

Subsurface Resonator: History, Theory, Primitive Thundergun?

Thank you. Grill, I just wanted to make you aware I mentioned this in my storyline. I mean, I've mentioned the possibility of adding something about it: -
Can we please get the definition of "endgame" right?
MysteryMachineX replied to Taklok's topic in Buried
It's just semantics. Since "endgame" is just a fan term, not mentioned anywhere in the game in any shape or form, just chalk it up the countless misconceptions people have. -

Hey, Grill, what is the Subsurface Resonator made of? I mean, what are its parts?
