  1. I think it just means they liked the town a lot.
  2. Yup yup. I agree. Something of that nature definitely happened.
  3. I wouldn't say that comparison is very accurate, one is more of a dropped gameplay feature as opposed to storyline information. I'd compare it to the Mars in the game files that weren't ever mentioned my name, but is in the coding, and we still took that as canon. I think this is just as canon as most things, really. You can still see the red mountain though. You don't see "Russman". This is just as canonical as Arthur Arlington. You guys can debate if you want, but I'm outta here.
  4. I think they died in London, but the house was moved over somehow and her ghost followed the house. So... you think a single house walked? slided? got de-and-reconstructed? I think they just moved...
  5. I'm sorry, but I'm not taking something seen written in a comment of the code that is never mentioned elsewhere as canon. That's like taking the Wonder Weapon Machine as canon.
  6. Sorry. Haven't gotten that far quite yet... : /
  7. Nothing has been found in Buried yet. Unless it is hidden really well, I don't think it is there. Even without radios, Buried gives us information dating all the way back from the 1600's to the 2040's. That's a lot of info without it. And I think it also emphasizes audio being for the two sides.
  8. Well you could argue the same for Castro. A Cuban leader meeting with JFK at the USA's capital?! Although I didn't know she died in London too. That's interesting. That means they didn't die in London. Btw, since we don't know much about her, that gives Treyarch artistic license. They were able to pull off having Kennedy fight zombies on November 7, 1963 since they/we don't know exactly what in real life Kennedy was doing on November 7, 1963.
  9. @Undead Nightmare: Thank you very much. Yes, there's a bunch. Typically, their creation is something as simple as a mutation. For example, the Gas Zombies seem to evolve. Some, like Fluffy and Brutus are far more complex. @ExperienceThis: Thanks! I know, right? I'm trying to hold myself back from saying it isn't a theory but a fact. But I suppose it's just a theory... But I like it. However, all that Lucy Lane nonsense is just that... nonsense. That was a theory BEFORE the game came out. That theory was formed on literally NO evidence. Sarah Faraday is much more likely in my opinion.
  10. 11. Being able to joint games as you please > Some defunct leader board anyway
  12. Thanks Tac. : ) Sorry MonkeyBomb.
  13. I think of it like editing DNA. A mutation is considered when changing, adding, or deleting of genes.
  14. *rolls up sleeves* I may come off as a bit forward with this, but I don't care. The Ghost Lady's name is Sarah Faraday, her maiden name being Bernard. We start with the woman herself. She is a ghost, she is ethereal. But, she is wearing widow's clothing, and she is crying. So, we can tell that she is in grief. Who was her husband? She has not just one but four overly huge portraits of the same exact man in her living room alone. That would probably be her husband. So, who is this man? Here's an awful-quality image of one of the portraits: And here is another image: Look familiar? The man in the portrait is Michael Faraday, famous electrochemist. He is responsible for inventing the technology that is responsible for the motor, transformer, and generator. He died in 1867. His wife died in 1879, meaning that she was a widow. Spooky, huh? So, the ghost lady is Michael Faraday's wife. If only we knew about his wife... Oh wait, we do. His wife's name was Sarah. So there you go. The real question now isn't who she is but how they got there.
  15. Which is exactly the same as saying they tampered with the stone. They tampered with it when they got there. =_=
  16. I think the Shrine always said Richtofen, after Richtofen visited in the mid 1900s he was viewed as a very powerful person and they made the shrine for him. Same way that in an unused quote (I know you think they hold less canon-ity) there was a full statue of him. "Uh, that looks a little like Richtofen doesn't it. Odd." - quest_step8_9 "That statue looks a little familiar, no?" - quest_step8_9 "Why does that statue resemble Richtofen?" - vox_plr_2_quest8_9 You missed the point entirely. "Richtofen" was inscribed into the stone as a glyph only after 935 made contact (through Richtofen). It's not hard to imagine this was done more so. So much so that zombies were mentioned in one.
  17. If it isn't there, I'm sure the reason is just that Treyarch forgot it, because, as you said, you'd expect it to be there.
  18. Actually, I was aware of this. But thanks for posting this. There are so many lies and rumors going around.
  19. If you have a Season Pass, then you've already paid for the maps if they exist. So.. you wouldn't you WANT them since the price is FIXED for you? You get more maps for the exact same price, since you've pre-paid.
  20. Yes. If you don't want to, then don't. But just because YOU don't want to doesn't mean WE shouldn't have the option. You guys are acting like you are entitled to something. If they were to release it, and if you didn't like it, then just don't get it! But we'll see if it actually happens.
  21. Thanks. Since 935 had taken the place, it's possible the glyphs were tampered, kinda like how the shrine reads "Richtofen".
  22. No one said anything about the wunderwaffe.. And the Thundergun in Kino and Ascension are all the same version it's just the Russians had several for it ( MKI MKII MKIII ) and if memory serves me right we're using the Mark 3 Good good. I agree. Except, the one we're using is Mark II. Mark I didn't work. Mark III didn't come 'til later.
  23. Actually, the thing about the zombies is more because of the glyphs. Brock was saying something along the lines oh, "Oh, look at this... hm..." Then the zombies came, and he wasn't surprised. Apparently the carvings mentioned zombies.
  24. The tower in question (I call it the Mining Tower to differentiate), is the one that you see at the start that is tilted that is still functional. It is continuously spewing huge rocks into the Rift.
  25. "Fear teddy" is just flat-out made up. Give me any group of letters and I'll find a pattern and say it was meant to be there. It's called apophenia.
