Ideas for a COD:Zombies
MysteryMachineX replied to MarkoRibeiro's topic in General Zombies Discussion
Well, you seem to have some pretty good ideas. Seems like it'd be fun. If I may suggest one? A Multiplayer-style Zombies mode. Free-for-all, team deathmatch, whatever. But a Create-A-Class system with zombie weapons on zombie maps where you directly kill each other and respawn and stuff. I've always wanted to use the Wunderwaffe DG-2 on 10 humans. (Is that wrong?) -
Ideas for a COD:Zombies
MysteryMachineX replied to MarkoRibeiro's topic in General Zombies Discussion
This looks really cool. However, your thing about secret maps... I think that maps with LITTLE story relevance would be alright, but NONE? I don't think that's a good idea. I mean, they can do something simple like Nacht, which has very little story relevance, but not none. -
Why Electric Cherry does not have a song.

Seems logical enough. -
CODZ youtube - NEW INTRO IN ORIGINAL POST (opinions please)

Um... I'm posting to show support -
So guess what I found out how to do? "PhD Double Dive" I call it If you're on the third floor of the Cell Block, you can dolphin dive onto the second floor or the first floor. When you dolphin dive, you slide a little bit. So dolphin dive onto the edge of the second floor. If you do it right, when you land on the second floor, you'll kill all the zombies around you, but then you will slide off onto the first floor and kill EVEN MORE zombies. Very handy when trying to clear the area to revive someone.

Using Character Colors to Your Advantage
MysteryMachineX replied to Ehjookayted's topic in General Zombies Discussion
I think this falls under color psychology more than anything else. -
Where have you been? There have been loads of people talking about it. You CAN upgrade it. Its reviving capabilities are NO different than any other weapon. Movement speed does NOT increase. There canNOT be two Death Machines without using a glitch.

Someone had a bad day. Generally the people are pretty nice here.

Yes, I'm certain of it. Alcatraz is said to be a federal prison at the time of 1933, even though it wasn't until 1934. Therefore, I think interpreting the dates in that manner can be misleading. But yeah, I suppose you're right.
-
No, no. That is something there. That's a reference to the old theory about how Der Riese was stuck in a time loop. That is debatable. What is not debatable is that Alcatraz is stuck in a time loop. So they decided to use that element.
-
Thank you. Yes, but this is NOT the first time that has happened. The exact same thing happened with the HAARP program. When HAARP was said to be operating in the '40's but it didn't open until the '90's, we assumed HAARP was just secretly operating. Why can't Alcatraz be the same way? Also, I'll assume the devil is telling the truth, but for all we know, he is lying, telling the mobsters of a future where they all died horrifically just to be the evil being he is.

I think it is just a coincidence. Not everything has some deep meaning.

Zombies Team Hard at Work?
MysteryMachineX replied to gunslinger979's topic in General Zombies Discussion
That is PRECISELY what I meant. Quality is therefore a constant! -
1. The Weasel created the idea for Shock Gibson. The Editor stole it. 2. Explain to me how Alcatraz was even operational at that time as a federal prison. 3. Lucifer gave a recording of the future. I thought you were going to give me something harder.

Zombies Team Hard at Work?
MysteryMachineX replied to gunslinger979's topic in General Zombies Discussion
quality of map = time spent on map x infinity Therefore, time is irrelevant. All Zombies maps are amazing. All are awesome. Therefore quality is a constant. I love Zombies. A Zombies map taking place in poop would be wonderful. Yes, dare I say it! -
Bear in mind that we've never fully acknowledged what timeline Nuketown falls under. We know it happens at the same time of Moon, and we can't even figure out that date. We assume it's in the future because of certain events leading into Black Ops II. We hear Sam's Lullaby both in the loading screen of Moon and Nuketown's Easter Egg song. That is why we are guessing that there may or may not be a connection to Sam overall with this interesting find. I don't think Treyarch would slap on something like this for no reason; first a song and then how the camera changes direction to the sky? There's an allusion somewhere. And of course this map is recycling 1933; we keep reliving that year. All I am saying is that it is 1933 within the realm of Mob of the Dead, but for all we know it could be just a wee-bit later in the overall realm if the suggest scenario was true. That whole realm stuff literally defies sense. You can't have a "pocket" of one time in another. A time-loop, it is, yes, but I don't think it is anything for than that. Why could someone from the '50's just walk into the zombie-infest Alcatraz then? And where did the '50's Alcatraz go? For no reason? I think this song is a reference merely because of its ending line "Do you hear the voices?" Also, I'd bet that often Treyarch just puts something in and see what we make of it.

I think people are taking this to seriously. We are in the '30's before the '40's. Samantha's Lullaby appeared in Nuketown and no one said anything then.

Glitches in Grief: Cell Blocks and how it ruins the game.
MysteryMachineX replied to MF_MaxiMillion's topic in Grief
Yeah, I made a post on this earlier. However, it isn't that bad. If you have a good team, you can take 'em easily. You need to get set up properly. To do that, you need a good team. Once you are set up, just survive (I suggest camp on the third floor) for as long as you can. Then two things will happen, and the order varies: A. You will mess up and go down. B. They will run out of ammo and be unable to kill. (That whole Max Ammo thing you mentioned is not very common. Eventually their luck will run out.) So, even if you die, they will run out of ammo and just sit there. If you are patient enough, just wait it out until they either kill themselves to restart the round or leave the game. Either way, you then finish out the round yourself with your good loadout you made sure to get. They will probably die before doing the glitch again since they now have to do it in the middle of a high round. -
I helped them by giving them information. They can take it or leave it. It matters not to me. I'm not pompous; I'm ambivalent.

"Samantha's Lullaby" in Mob of the Dead | Secret 3rd Song EE
MysteryMachineX replied to GRILL's topic in Mob of the Dead
I think it is a reference to how Samantha says "Do you hear the voices?" What voices? You mean those voics we've been talking about for so long? In Richtofen's head? Or in the sky? What's that have to do with Alcatraz? (rhetorical) -
A weapon doesn't have reduced damage anything. Things to shoot just have more health. There is no concept of anything like defense in this game. Even Juggernog just doubles your health. Brutus has high health. The thing does not kill him. Therefore, it is not infinite. It is very finite. This is not a debate. It's a notification.
-
You wouldn't happen to know how long it's a OHK would you? No, sorry. But if it had infinite damage, it would kill Brutus all the time, which it doesn't.
-
@EricMaynard: The Golden Spork is not the best weapon, as there are several infinite damage weapons in Zombies. And sorry, but Stanley Ferguson specifically said they stabbed Al with shivs. @NZheadshot1: The Redeemer does not do infinite damage. It is just really high damage. @BizBloodshot: Don't believe everything you read. The Galvaknuckles is a one-hit kill up to and not including Round 14. The Golden Spork is a one-hit kill up to and NOT including Round 34. The CoD Wiki is the WORST place for information in Zombies history.
