I think Chopper is referring to the destruction of TranZit Solo play. I think that the introduction of this "Super Juggernog" and the non-respawners might be a way for Treyarch to do want they wanted (I'm not sure what that would be) while maintaining balance. The former makes the game too easy and the latter too hard.

Was group 935 global by the 40s?
MysteryMachineX replied to Simply Epic's topic in General Zombies Discussion
You're welcome. While 935 was not global, they did have quite a few facilities: Verruckt Der Riese Kino der Toten Shangri-La Shi No Numa Eagle's Nest (affiliation not quite clear) -

Of course we are going to use it. Just like countries use nuclear weapons. You want to have the best of the best, but what if the best of the best breaks the game? What if all the weapons in the Box were Wonder Weapons? Would we use them? Yes, but we don't have to like it. The Zombie Formula has worked for YEARS, and now they are changing one of the things that is so essential to it. It's still early in the discovery, so it is difficult to say too much about it. However one thing is clear: people are not overcome with joy. -

No. But they had spies. They "operatives in America". It is kinda similar to the Soviet Union. Although 935 in itself was not nearly as powerful as the Soviet Union would become. -

I just watched the video again. He got hit 5 times directly one after another. So he TOOK 250 damage. Another hit, another 50, would've killed him. Therefore he had 300 health. -

Thanks. I know what I'm talking about with the 100 and 200. However this new thing, that's up in the air really. But I do think he survived longer than he should have. What would really be conclusive is a side-by-side comparison of letting yourself die with and without this thing. -
When he is playing as Samuel, he shows that the effect still applies by getting hit three times consecutively without Juggernog. He did the experiment twice. That's not just editing. That's being smart.

It's only 6 is you space out the hits. You have 100 health. Each Zombie attack does 50 damage. You constantly heal. If you take a hit, directly followed by another hit. You will die. If you take a hit, heal a bit, take another hit, and heal a bit, you can take another. With Juggernog you have 200 health. So you can survive four subsequent hits. With this thing, you have 200 health as well. If you get Juggernog, it seems you get 300 health. So you can survive six subsequent hits. -

Nacht der Untoten possibly in Japan?
MysteryMachineX replied to ninezerowill's topic in Story Discussion
You missed my point entirely. Zombie levels are not based off of a map for ANYTHING they have to do story-wise but primarily just because of the assets they have. In fact, Nacht was literally put in a section of Airfield so they didn't have to make a whole new location but just edit an existing one. And for the longest time no one noticed. -
Richtofen was a Nazi. Call of the Dead took place in Eagle's Nest, where Richtofen's station was. Richtofen during World War II traveled around 935's stations from Der Riese to Kino der Toten to Eagle's Nest to Shi No Numa to Shangri-La and even to Griffin Station. Yes, Richtofen was thought of as a god by the Shangri-La locals. And he used that advantage to make them his labor force. He didn't have the "golden rod" at the time though. And it is unlikely that a Nazi would have been in the United States during World War II...

New persistent upgrade found !! Red insta- kill
MysteryMachineX replied to Raygunhopeful's topic in TranZit
I'll try that out RayGun and see if you're right. -
Some glitches: Astro-Zombies run backwards towards you as if you were a Gersch Device, severely breaking the game. Otherwise they get stuck in a corner. The RPK double-takes when out of ammo. Wunderwaffe DG-3 JZ in World at War makes you lose Juggernog. Dropping stuff on the Bus is sometimes impossible to pick back up. Knifing your teammate can kill you when down on Black Ops. In Theater Mode, one-handed weapons have a floating hand next to them. When host migrates on Farm, the air color changes. On Nuketown, the green house has a spot where the Zombie can get stuck and walk in place. On Nuketown, it is possible to get 1 and a half Mystery Boxes due to some glitch with a Fire Sale. After ending a game of Grief and backing out, it is almost impossible to recruit the guys we just played with so we can play another game of Grief on the same team without waiting for the game to actually let us join for like 10 minutes. It is possible to get stuck on selecting Farm. There is an unnecessary "New" on Green Run.

No trailer released four days before the DLC came out? Some people are so spoiled. Just wait four days, now two.

Diner Will Only Have Turned?
MysteryMachineX replied to Flammenwerfer's topic in General Zombies Discussion
It is possible that by the time the game is released that there will be one. But I wouldn't count on it. It could go either way as I see it. -
Well said. As for the NEW, I think that it really was just sloppiness that they didn't bother to fix. If you also notice the control functionality is limited. It is easy to get "stuck" on selecting Farm.

With all the information we currently have, our current timeframe of the 1980's is the BEST conclusion with our data. If Great Leap Forward gives us more data to confirm or deny said conclusion, we will adjust accordingly. End of story, really.
-
Personally I think I'm going to call this map Die Rise. Great Leap Forward doesn't sound like a map or a location and is annoying to say. I guess you could call it GLF. I don't know anymore!!!! Oh wait, it doesn't matter. It's a trivial point now. Like arguing the pronunciation of Tomato, no good will come of it, and everyone knows what you are saying regardless! The whole point of calling Green Run the map was in anticipation of there being more TranZit maps released. Since this isn't happening, I say call it whatever you want! No, there is still a point to it. Hey, is there CIA and CDC in Green Run? Yes. Hey, is there CIA and CDC in TranZit? No. Are there H*llhounds in Green Run? Yes. Are there H*llhounds in TranZit? No. There is the actual name of the map, and the name for the exploration. I think it really is a mouthful, but Treyarch wants to give us the extra name to think about apparently.

ATTN Treyarch - ranking and stats system suggestions
MysteryMachineX replied to Chopper's topic in General Zombies Discussion
@Edward: That idea could work. It would be quite beneficial to all modes of play. Hm. And lol at the last line. Clever. @Infest:Yes yes. That would be a good implementation in that case. @ChopperNator: I played a game of TranZit where I got to Round 30 with four people. 6 hours. These guys had shotguns. They meant well, but they were concerned about their rank. Time and time again I gave them reasons throughout the game where had they been willing to risk their score (not the game) then we would've been better off. For example, one person was at Diner in the high 20's without Juggernog and wasn't going to last long without it. I said try to cross the lava pit. If you go down, I'll get you because I'm on the other side. Wouldn't do it. Went down anyway though... Btw, that is awful that someone would leave games like that. @Rickety: ??? I was under the impression nothing good EVER was on that site's forums. But that post looks highly formatted and informational. I wonder, is it true? -
Ooh that's interesting. So you can try to kill each other to win the game and whatnot. Or you can try to work together to solve some mysterious Easter Egg. That'd be cool, except there's a flaw. When players work together in Grief, they are immortal. The game never ends... So... yeah.
